“Pat took great care of my Gracie. She sent regular photos & was patient with Gracie’s wild moods. She has a lovely home & a nice fenced backyard. Her dog was playful & a good companion for mine. Thank you Pat!”

“Shawna was great! After a bad experience with a kennel, we decided to try an in house sitter. From allowing a meet and greet with them before the actual stay to sending pictures and videos every day with updates about how Bella was doing. The dog we picked up was happy, excited and well cared for. We've already rebooked with Shawna for another stay.”

“I received photos and videos every day! Both Havoc and Jelly Beans were spoiled!!! Erin was the BIGGEST lifesaver as my original dog sitter backed out a week prior to an Air Force TDY. I cannot thank her enough! ?”

“I couldn’t be happier to find Lori. She is so compassionate and treated my baby like her very own. This was the first time I had left my 2.5 year old Bichon and she was just one of the family for four days! She loved having a playmate, Chewie is a sweetheart and gets along so well with others. She kept me updated and sent pictures several times a day which put this mama at ease. I can’t recommend her highly enough. You will be so happy with Lori, she’s awesome!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Daisy just had her first stay with Angie and all went well. It was my first time not taking her on a trip with us so I was a little nervous. She settles in shortly after we left and even found a human to sleep in bed with while I was gone. Will definitely use Angie again!”

“Cynthia did a great job taking care of my puppy Ringo. She gave me a lot of updates and pictures on him and she took him last minute which was amazing. I would recommend her to all my friends and family and I will definitely be using her again!!”

“Very kind. Great commutator. I will definitely use her again. My dog really seemed to like her stay there. Love that this Rover individual takes my dog on walks and interacts with her!”

“Lidiia was so amazing with my cat, she not only took great care of my cat but also sent me pictures and videos during the entire stay. I would no doubtedly recommend her for taking care of your pets.”

“Shilpi was a fantastic sitter! My dog tends to have anxiety so we always worry about leaving him in a new place, but Shilpi treated Oliver like one of her own. She ensured that he was eating and sleeping properly, and overall exceeded all of his needs. Shilpi also kept us updated throughout the entire sitting, sending us so many cute pictures as well as updating us about his behavior. He came back home seeming very calm and happy. Will definitely be reaching out again, thank you for the exceptional service!”

“Candie was quick to respond to a very last minute booking. She and her family were so kind and welcomed our dog to her family for a lengthy period of time. Jax had a blast playing and swimming. We received pictures and an update every evening. We will definitely book again!”

“Natty loved staying with Katie and her sweet family! Katie communicated very well, so that I could vacation with confidence that Natty was safe and well cared for. Thank you so much!!🩷🐾”

About: I have cared for many dogs, including mine and others. I have experience with dog sitting 10 lbs puppies all the way to caring for large Great Danes. I always want the best experience for them, leaving them happy, which leaves you happy!
“She is absolutely amazing. She sent me pictures during the day, let me know how they were acclimating, and during pickup one of my 4 cats decided to run off. She went above and beyond to help us find her (including climbing down into a crazy thicket across the street!)”
“I have never felt more comfortable leaving my dogs! She was an angel. I have big dogs that tend to bark quite a lot and she immediately was able to calm them down and bond with them. Sent numerous photos throughout the entire time we were away and gave plenty of updates. I would not go to anybody else!!”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I’ve spent my whole life caring for them. As the primary caregiver for my families pets, I’ve gained a deep understanding of their needs, personalities, and behaviors. I have 10+ years of hands‑on cat care experience, including raising abandoned kittens that I bottle‑fed from just days old, caring for elderly cats, and everything in between.
About: I got my dog when I was 13 (I’m now 22). I trained him by myself when he was a puppy, and everyone he meets says he’s very well behaved. I know how to spot signs of anxiety or distress in dogs and how to respond to that behavior. I’m patient and loving, but I can be stern when need be. I am a student in college, and I work part time at an assisted living facility. Other than the days I’m at work, I’m basically free! I’ll make sure to locate the resources needed to care for your dog (crate, locks, toys, food, leash, harness, etc) as soon as I get to your home. I’ll spend 100% of my time in the company of your dog- they wouldn’t leave my sight. I’ll make sure to follow any guidelines about what your dog should/should not do. I’ll do my best to make the experience as comfortable as possible for them and you!
“Cheney was an excellent caretaker of my cat, and was very responsive to messages and directions. I came home to a happy pet and felt good that she had someone attentive looking after her.”

About: I care for cats of every chaos level imaginable — aloof emperors who act like I’m beneath them, tiny snack-demanding dictators plotting world domination if I’m a minute late, zoomie Olympians who sprint like their tails are on fire, and lounge lords who stare at me like I just insulted their ancestors. I’ve given meds without losing a finger, navigated strict diets for picky or sick kitties, and coddled older cats who require extreme gentleness and very serious belly-rub negotiations. A typical day is a whirlwind of laser pointer madness, toy inspections, cuddle bribes, dramatic nap supervision, and emotional support during existential stare-offs. I make sure snacks are taste-tested, naps are optimal, and zoomies are fully sanctioned chaos. I survive the cat-fueled anarchy, keep them fed, loved, and convinced I am their humble servant, all while your home remains intact, relatively sane, and documented with plenty of hilarious photo updates proving the cats didn’t overthrow the place… yet.
About: I have worked in pet care for over 6 years. I was a dog groomer for 2 years. During this time I was trained as a kennel tech, and am pet CPR/First Aid certified! I also received training with pet seizures and am experienced in caring for senior dogs. I offer grooming services as well! Please feel free to send me a message :) As a dog mom, I know I’m pretty timid just leaving my baby with new people. I want to know that he’s going to be safe, loved on, and never neglected. I spend a lot of time with him during the day, making sure he’s receiving the right amount of exercise, training, and everything he would need to keep growing healthy and strong. I would love to provide this service for other dog parents and their fur babies! I want you to feel safe leaving your precious angel with me, and leave with the knowledge that they’re going to have a fun, enriching, and safe time in my care. My fur babies are my whole world and I try to make their time with me as fun and as enriching as possible. Whether thats playing games, learning new tricks, getting exercise, or winding down with a nice frozen kong treat.

About: I’ve always had pets growing up from cats, dogs to having a pet flying squirrel name Ricky Bobby. I have a genuine heart and a sweet soul and I love animals . My son is in school and I’m a stay at home mom. I have plenty of time on my hands now. I would enjoy having a side job to play with more animals in my life I have two acres of land and plenty of grass to roam around on. I have a fence with a closing gate and I can walk the dogs with as much time needed. They are in good hands !

About: I’ve always had dogs at home, up to three at once! Most all raised and trained from puppy stages. I had a disabled dog recently who lost usage of her back legs and was incompetent. She required lots of help and being carried around but was a sweetheart. Currently I have eight geckos as well as two snakes, a skink, two cats (mostly outdoor) and one dog. My dogs name is Luna, she’s almost two years old, deaf and mentally special but as friendly as can be! (Several rooms for separation of my dog if needed as well as my crate. So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. “Reyna and her family let my high energy 2 year old golden come hang out with them flr Memorial Day weekend and they were fantastic! Benny came home completely exhausted and I knew he was in very good hands. They were thoughtful with how they introduced him to the other dogs and had a great property for him to run around and play on. Will definitely bring him back!”

“Superior experience! ..and communication. Plenty of area to explore and run, much better than a dog park, and typical kennel daycare/boarding. Rhett was pooped out! Highly recommended.”

“Esmeralda offered the perfect day care experience for our little morkie, Molly. We were visiting in the Blue Ridge area and had activities planned for two days that would not allow us to bring our pet along. Esmeralda's home was a peaceful retreat in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Our little morkie gets overwhelmed and stressed at boarding facilities. But she was happy and playful when I picked her up each day. Esmeralda sent updates and photos both days and was genuinely happy to see Molly each morning. We will definitely use Esmeralda again when we travel to the Blue Ridge area. We highly recommend her!”

“Max enjoyed his time with Lena. She was very attentive to him and provided him with great care during his visit. This was his first time away from his family, so her kindness was very important. Max made a new friend with Lena's Yorkie, Freddie. Lena sent us a very nice photo of the two new friends. We will definitely contact Lena for future visits to that area. Thank you very much, Lena!”

About: I have been obsessed with cats since I was 4 years old. I had 2 growing up (one was diabetic and 19 years old so I’m familiar with giving injections/ medicine). It brings me so much joy taking care of animals. Cats only enhance my life and I would love nothing more to share that love with your animal. I work 4 days a week, and am off 3 full days. My work days are fairly short, so your animal will be attended to extremely well. I currently have no animals in my home. Typically I fed my cats growing up 3 meals a day. I change their little box morning and night. I also make sure they have plenty of water and love.

Being the primary caregiver for my own family pets has given me a deep understanding of their needs, personalities, and behaviors. Over the years I’ve raised and cared for dozens of animals, including abandoned kittens that I bottle‑fed from a few days old. I currently work part‑time on weekends while attending college full‑time throughout the week, which gives me plenty of flexibility in my schedule. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits, and I can easily adjust my routine to make sure your pets get the care, attention, and consistency they need. I’m reliable, communicative, and always make pet care a priority. I live on 6+ acres with plenty of space for dogs to explore and enjoy, but my yard is not fenced, so all outdoor time is always supervised for safety. I have a friendly Great Pyrenees named Lily and a cat named Willow, who I bottle‑fed and raised from a kitten. They’re both very sweet, but I can keep my pets completely separate from yours if needed to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I pay close attention to their behavior, keep a controlled environment, and follow any routines or rules you prefer. You can trust that your pet will be cared for with caution, love, and respect.

About: Hi, I’m Maggie! I’ve had dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. I have lived on a farm surrounded by dogs, horses, and cats, which gave me years of hands on experience caring for animals of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. After losing my beloved German Shepherd, I began fostering others through rescues. A journey that’s been both healing and incredibly rewarding. It’s deepened my understanding of different temperaments, training needs, and the importance of patience, structure, and gentle consistency. Whether I’m boarding, house sitting, or stopping in for a visit, I focus on creating a calm, loving environment where every pet feels safe and cared for like family. I treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I am currently working almost full time. I can spend evenings with your dog. I am usually gone around 6-8 hours a day at most. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I would only take outside on leash. I have a cat. I can keep the cat separated if needed.

I will follow any rules and routines you have set for your pet when visiting and walking your fur baby. I will make sure doors, gates, and crates are properly secured before leaving. I’m happy to send photos of pets if requested.

About: Hi! I’m Wynema with Harvest & Haven Farm. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them isn’t just a job—it’s something I genuinely love. Our farm is home to chickens, ducks, goats, donkeys, dogs, and more, so your pet will be joining a family that’s used to providing lots of love, attention, and care. When your pet stays with us, they’ll have plenty of room to explore, play, and relax in a peaceful farm setting. I know every animal has a different personality, so I take the time to get to know each one and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet loves to run, cuddle, play, or simply nap in the sunshine, my goal is for them to feel like they’re on their own little vacation. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’ll care for them the same way I care for my own. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member! 🐾🌿 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already live and work on our farm. Caring for animals isn’t something I squeeze into my schedule—it’s what I do every day. Since I’m on the property throughout the day, pets receive frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, enrichment, and lots of attention. My flexible schedule allows me to adapt to each pet’s individual needs, whether that’s extra cuddle time, medication, or a slower pace for senior pets. Because I spend so much of my day outdoors and around animals, your pet will be part of a calm, active environment where they’re treated like one of the family—not just another booking. 🐾🌿 Our entire property is fenced in. Your furrbaby will have 6 acres to explore and play. We also have a separate fenced paddock to separate animals, if need be.
“I really should just pay you for the pictures you take instead of the dog walking! 🤣 they’re hilarious & crack me up! Thank you for taking such great care of my fur baby. It brings me so much relief to know she’s having fun and in good hands, while I’m at work.”

I am able to visit your pup multiple times throughout the day or stay overnight if needed! I have a rescue pit bull/lab mix named Tux who my family and I adore. Unfortunately he is not dog friendly so my house is not available for boarding.

About: ***NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS FOR DROP INS or WALKS on WEEKDAYS *** I have been pet sitting for almost thirty years. I have many great references from repeat clients (Rover and non Rover). I have become buddies with dogs of all breeds and sizes - big or small, I love them all. I will come to your home so your dog is as comfortable as possible while you are away. I will visit your home as many times during the day as I am needed, and will stay the night with your pet if that is what you would prefer. Your precious pup will feel right at home with me as his or her sitter. I also sit for cats, rodents, and reptiles. **I apologize for any delays in response time. About: With a lifelong passion for dogs, I bring a wealth of experience to my dog sitting services. Growing up with dogs, I've developed a deep understanding of their needs and behaviors. Now, as a proud dog mom of three fur babies and the owner of a small business tailored just to pups, you can rest assured that your babies will be cared for in a loving and fun environment. 🫶🏼🫶🏼 As a full-time worker with flexible hours, I seamlessly integrate pet care into my daily routine through thoughtful planning and prioritization. Here is what a day in our household looks like with my 3 pups to give you an idea: **Morning Ritual**: Each morning, I dedicate the first 30 minutes to an hour to my pups. This includes a refreshing walk or playtime, allowing them to stretch their legs and get some exercise while I enjoy the fresh air and bond with them. **Flexible Breaks**: With my flexible work schedule, I can take advantage of breaks throughout the day. During these breaks, I make it a point to check in on my pups, giving them attention, a quick play session, or just some affectionate cuddles. **Midday Engagement**: When my work allows, I set aside time around lunchtime to either take my dogs out for another short walk or engage them in interactive play. This keeps them stimulated and helps break up their day. **Evening Quality Time**: After work, I prioritize quality time with my pups. Whether it’s a longer walk, a visit to the dog park, or training sessions, I make sure they get ample exercise and mental stimulation, reinforcing our bond. **Weekend Adventures**: On weekends, I plan longer outings or fun activities, such as hiking, going to the lake, adventures to the ballpark or visiting pet-friendly places. This not only provides them with physical exercise but also allows us to work on social interaction while exploring and enjoying our time together. By incorporating these strategies, I ensure that my pets are happy, healthy, and well-cared for, all while successfully balancing my work commitments. Now, this is merely just an example of my every day with my own boys, When imagining what you may or may not need when it comes to caring for your pet, customizing yours and your pet’s needs is always essential. Caring for someone else's pet in their home requires attention to detail, respect for their routines, and a genuine love for animals. Here is what that looks like when tending to your pet and their needs: 1. **Understanding the Pet’s Needs**: Before starting, I have a detailed conversation with the pet owner to learn about the pet’s daily routine, dietary needs, exercise requirements, and any specific behaviors or quirks. 2. **Following Instructions**: Adhering strictly to the care instructions provided by the pet owner. This includes feeding schedules, medication administration, and any special care instructions. 3. **Creating a Comfortable Environment**: When possible, I like to do a meet & greet with the pup(s) and their owners to ensure they are comfortable come time for me to start caring for them. Maintaining the pet's usual environment as much as possible. Keeping their sleeping area, toys, and feeding spots in the same locations to minimize stress. 4. **Establishing a Routine**: Sticking to the pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, and playtime. Consistency helps the pet feel secure and comfortable while their owner is away. 5. **Providing Plenty of Attention**: Spending quality time with the pet to ensure they feel loved and cared for while their owner is away. Engaging in play, training, or simply cuddling to keep them happy. Of course happy to incorporate things you as a pet owner may request as needed. 6. **Staying Active**: Ensuring the pet gets enough physical activity according to their needs. Taking them for walks, playing fetch, or engaging in other activities they enjoy. 7. **Maintaining Cleanliness**: Keeping the pet's living area clean. This includes regularly changing their water, cleaning up after them, and maintaining their litter box if applicable. 8. **Monitoring Health and Behavior**: Keeping an eye on the pet's health and behavior. Such as changes in appetite, appearance, mannerisms or energy levels, notifying the owner immediately. 9. **Emergency Contacts**: I make sure to have a list of emergency contacts, including the owner's vet and an alternate emergency contact. Knowing what to do in case of an emergency. 10. **Providing Updates**: Regularly updating the pet owner on how their pet is doing. Sending photos or messages to reassure them and keep them connected to their furry baby. These guidelines I have can ensure you that your pet will receive the best care possible while you’re away. Fostering trust and peace of mind for both you and your pet. 😇🫶🏼
About: I have only ever cared for certain dogs for very short intervals of time. I care for my personal dog, which is a yorkshire terrier/poodle mix, and he is a small dog under 15 pounds. I have walked a few dogs before that were of medium and big size. I am a very caring person and love dogs of every breed. I only want the very best for your furry companions because I would want the same for mine. I am hoping to gain a lot of experience from pet sitting and hope that you consider me a good fit as your sitter. I do not have any special skills, I just really love dogs and want to spend my spare time having a ton of fun with them. Thank you. I work 3 12 hour shifts per week from 7pm-7am so I am available on my days off for drop ins and walks! I prefer a notice a couple of weeks in advance if booking an overnight stay so I am hopefully able to tweak my work schedule. Thanks! My dog sleeps in the bed with my husband and I and is free to roam around the house during the day. I will care for your dog however you prefer.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I’ve spent my whole life caring for them. Being the primary caregiver for my own family pets has given me a deep understanding of their needs, personalities, and behaviors. Over the years I’ve raised and cared for dozens of animals, including abandoned kittens that I bottle‑fed from a few days old. These experiences taught me patience, problem‑solving, and how to stay calm and capable in all kinds of situations. I’ve also provided pet care for family friends, neighbors, and coworkers, giving me hands‑on experience with many different breeds, ages, and temperaments. Caring for animals is something I genuinely love, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is always to make them feel safe, understood, and comfortable while you’re away.
