About: I have had many dogs throughout my life. I was unbelievably sad when my last one died, so I am not ready for another pup just yet. So for now, yours will have to do! I like dogs of all shapes and sizes and have my own experience with complicated dog-life situations. My last one (a Bassett Hound named Mugsey) went through chemo for cancer, became diabetic and blind, aaaand deaf, aaand then developed urinary incontinence. I built him ramps for the couch and the bed. I gave him insulin injections for 2+ years. I fed him at psychotically specific times per day and with very precise amounts of food (ugh, diabetes). And I loved him just as much through those tough times as I did when he was healthy. I love all dogs more than most people and it would be great to take care of some again from time to time. Oh, and I made a trail that goes down to a river/creek from my backyard, and a big trail along the creek. Dogs love it, and so do I! I'll put up a big fence in the yard eventually, but for now... leash walks whenever the dog/dogs want to go! About: I have loved dogs my entire life. Growing up being an animal lover, some of my best memories are with my dogs throughout my childhood. Since then, I have always had dogs, and can’t imagine my life without them. I’ve helped friends and family throughout my life care for their dogs - sitting, bathing, walking, etc. We have two dogs of our own, Ollie (a two year old goldendoodle) and Layla (a 12 year old papillon.) We have had both of our dogs since they were puppies, so we are familiar with puppy training as well as the special care that senior dogs need. We consider them members of our family, and I have always hated boarding them at traditional kennels. Leaving them with a trusted sitter has given us such peace of mind when we go out of town, and I hope to provide that same peace of mind for you. I am currently a stay-at-home mom, so I will be able to have your dogs out with me during the day, and have them sleep comfortably in their crates at night or when they’re unsupervised. I will also be able to provide plenty of potty breaks and walks. We have an acre of open yard and a semi-wooded space to have plenty of supervised playtime. We have plenty of room inside and out to run and play! When your dogs are unsupervised, they will be safely in their crate in our large, open, finished basement. I provide boarding for indoor crate trained dogs, who are up to date on all vaccines including Bordetella, are house/potty trained, and on flea/tick prevention. They also must be friendly with other dogs and children.

I've worked with rescues handling the worst abuse and fight cases, so I guarantee I can easily manage caring for any family pet. My earliest animal-care work dates back to the 80's, when I was full-time care-giver for 9 dogs, 7 cats, and 3 horses, all for one employer! Here in the Atlanta area, I helped run adoption events for FCAS, finding homes for 100's of dogs.
