Julie went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving him, especially since Chiko is deaf and uses a special collar. She took the time to learn how to communicate with him, which gave us such reassurance. We loved the adorable photo updates throughout his stay, and when we picked him up, he was one happy (and tired!) pup who fell right asleep as soon as we got home. About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I've learned to care for and love them as family. I'd be so happy to look after your fur babies! My part-time job has a very flexible schedule, so I can dedicate lots of time to your pup while you're away. I have a small, 3-year-old dog who is shy at first but very friendly, and he'd love a playmate. Plus, my dog is allowed on all the furniture, and your pup would be welcome to join in on the comfort! I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your dogs! I'm available for boarding on weekends and weekdays. I have a small, friendly dog who's a bit shy at first but warms up quickly to keep your dog company. I only crate my dog for short times when I'm out of the house.
About: I’ve always had dogs at home, up to three at once! Most all raised and trained from puppy stages. I had a disabled dog recently who lost usage of her back legs and was incompetent. She required lots of help and being carried around but was a sweetheart. Currently I have eight geckos as well as two snakes, a skink, two cats (mostly outdoor) and one dog. My dogs name is Luna, she’s almost two years old, deaf and mentally special but as friendly as can be! (Several rooms for separation of my dog if needed as well as my crate. So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. I do not have a fence but I have a large pasture as well as lots of leads. I’m willing to walk for hours with your pet on a leash! I have one friendly pup to keep yours company and I have a spare room. I have the ability to crate my dog and space for a crate for yours if provided. We go out after every food and water break, get lots of cuddles and extra play time!

About: Hi, I’m Maggie! I’ve had dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. I have lived on a farm surrounded by dogs, horses, and cats, which gave me years of hands on experience caring for animals of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. After losing my beloved German Shepherd, I began fostering others through rescues. A journey that’s been both healing and incredibly rewarding. It’s deepened my understanding of different temperaments, training needs, and the importance of patience, structure, and gentle consistency. Whether I’m boarding, house sitting, or stopping in for a visit, I focus on creating a calm, loving environment where every pet feels safe and cared for like family. About: My family and I have had two Huskies, one Ridgeback Mix, & a Lab/Shar Pei mix. We now currently have two, rambunctious Boston Terriers. If there’s one thing I’ve learned with these two is that family runs in fur too. The ability to provide all animals the same loving care their human family gives them, is a reflection of my own love & care for my own furry family. About: Since I was 9 years old I have been fortunate to grow up in a household that has always included dogs. Throughout the years, we have cared for a diverse range of breeds, including Terriers, Boxers, and Mastiffs and I wouldn't have it any other way (except for maybe more dogs). I was raised to care for and love them like I would any family member. I have administered medication to not only my own animals, but to others as well. Not only that, I can perform hygiene tasks such as bathing, brushing, etc. I work remotely and have the flexibility to create my own schedule. This gives me plenty of time to spend with your pup while you're away! I have a fenced-in yard with ample amounts of running space. I have three sweet pups: a 13-year-old Westie, a 3-year-old Shepherd, and a yellow Lab who is less than a year old. About: I grew up with lots of pets, a golden retriever, labs, a vizsla, and siamese cats. I have worked with a non-profit rehabbing retired throroughbreads and retraining them for lives off the track, which has given me confidence, patience, and adaptability in handling spirited animals. I am currently working freelance and control my own schedule, so I can customize the level of care required to your needs. I'm happy to care for them at your home or take them on adventures to parks, hikes etc. Depending on your pet's needs, I am available for walks, feeding, playtime, training, boarding, and any other activities they enjoy. Julie went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving him, especially since Chiko is deaf and uses a special collar. We loved the adorable photo updates throughout his stay, and when we picked him up, he was one happy (and tired!) pup who fell right asleep as soon as we got home. She has a lovely home and yard and you can tell how much she cares about dogs. I was nervous as I've never boarded before. One of my dogs is very nervous in new situations. Angie sent daily updates and pics text ands assured me he was doing great. And he was! Both my babies were comfortable, loved, exercised, and treated as part of the family. Angie is professional, kind, accommodating, and gentle. When I picked them up they were happy and worn out! Lots of play! We drove almost an hour out of the way to leave them with her. About: I’ve always had dogs at home, up to three at once! Most all raised and trained from puppy stages. I had a disabled dog recently who lost usage of her back legs and was incompetent. She required lots of help and being carried around but was a sweetheart. Currently I have eight geckos as well as two snakes, a skink, two cats (mostly outdoor) and one dog. My dogs name is Luna, she’s almost two years old, deaf and mentally special but as friendly as can be! (Several rooms for separation of my dog if needed as well as my crate. So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. I do not have a fence but I have a large pasture as well as lots of leads. I’m willing to walk for hours with your pet on a leash! I have one friendly pup to keep yours company and I have a spare room. I have the ability to crate my dog and space for a crate for yours if provided. We go out after every food and water break, get lots of cuddles and extra play time!

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and have always had pets of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust. I’m comfortable with dogs of any size. I have 2 dogs of my own. I’m available for visits and walks in the evenings in May. I’ll have week day and weekend availability in June and July. After July, I’ll be available mostly on weekends. I will follow any rules and routines you have set for your pet when visiting and walking your fur baby. I will make sure doors, gates, and crates are properly secured before leaving. I have extensive experience living and caring for both dogs and cats, and I welcome the opportunity to look after your pooch or kitty! I work full-time at the Gilmer County Courthouse, but my schedule is fairly flexible throughout the week. Of course, on weekends I’m even more flexible. About: As a lover of all creatures great and small and the owner of many myself I know how hard it can be to be away from your pets. I have experience with medicating pets as I’ve had several geriatric animals myself and I will send updates regularly. I am at home full time and spend most of my time with my animals. I would love to have the opportunity to care for yours as well. I have a 2 fenced yards, one enclosed boarding stall that is 15 by 15. I do allow dogs to be boarded in my home but they must be cat tested.
