She really helped me out of a jam—two jams, actually—when she accepted my last-minute booking (like, basically 24 hours notice) when my other sitter canceled for an emergency, AND she VERY generously agreed to watch my dog for an extra night when I was stuck overnight at a the airport. Amber shared daily photos and videos and other updates. She’s both proactive and quickly responsive. Will happily trust her to watch my pup anytime. But for my sake, please just…find someone else 🙏🏻”

About: Over the years I have walked dogs of all sizes and baby sat many houses for family and friends. I grow up on a farm. I have trained horses and owned pretty much every farm animal out there. About: I’ve had animals my entire life and currently have 2 dogs of my own, along with a flock of chickens and our very own honeybees. I can come by after work for drop-ins M-F and almost anytime on weekends. I am able to house-sit most days, I will need enough notice to be able to meet with you and your babies to make sure we are a good fit for each other. I prefer at least a week's notice for house sitting requests. I work full time during the week. I am typically gone from around 7am until 5pm but sometimes later on Mondays. If a mid day drop in is needed during this stay please let me know ahead of time. I will do everything I can to keep your babies a on as close of a routine as they are used to. About: I’ve been fortunate to have the chance to care for dogs, cats and farm animals throughout my life. I volunteered at a local animal shelter for four years, walking dogs and socializing cats. I also was a dog foster for the animal shelter for two years, fostering over two dozen dogs ranging from a pug to a Great Dane, and every type of dog in-between. This gave me of experience with dogs from different backgrounds, temperaments and confidence levels. I currently have five dogs of my own, and I’ve attended obedience training and agility training with them. I believe in positive reinforcement and meeting each dog where they’re at. I think keeping your pet’s schedule and following their routines is the most important part of keeping them happy when you’re gone. “I hesitate to leave a review, honestly, because I don’t want more people taking up all of Amber’s availability! She really helped me out of a jam—two jams, actually—when she accepted my last-minute booking (like, basically 24 hours notice) when my other sitter canceled for an emergency, AND she VERY generously agreed to watch my dog for an extra night when I was stuck overnight at a the airport. Amber shared daily photos and videos and other updates. She’s both proactive and quickly responsive. Will happily trust her to watch my pup anytime. But for my sake, please just…find someone else 🙏🏻”

Apparently, the specialized in elderly dog care. Bear was a happy, relaxed boy when we came back. We will definitely be utilizing Jaxen again.”
“Malia was great! She is a True Dawg-Mom, and adopted Shadow into her fold for 15 days! Great fenced in yard was paradise for Shadow. Malia went above and beyond to get sap off of Shadow after she decided to roll in it on a hot day. So glad for Rover.com and Malia. I’d love for Shadow to return to Malia’s care again, if I ever leave her again.”
