He loved playing with their two doodles, Chase and Rusty, and even got to meet their goats, pigs, chickens, and play with their kiddos. Their fully fenced yard (many acres) was perfect for safe playtime and gave us extra peace of mind. Julie went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving him, especially since Chiko is deaf and uses a special collar. She took the time to learn how to communicate with him, which gave us such reassurance. We loved the adorable photo updates throughout his stay, and when we picked him up, he was one happy (and tired!) pup who fell right asleep as soon as we got home. I’m able to monitor your pet especially if having conditions such as diabetes and/or have chronic conditions. I love the furry babies and love what I do! I own a two Boston terriers and have a family of my own that is my world! I can guarantee you that your pet will be taken care of with ER experience so I would know the signs for sure if your baby needed medical help. Since I work at an animal hospital this is a win win situation! Only that I can use my knowledge and skills to help owners feel at ease when leaving their furry babies with me. My dogs are SPOILED especially my bostons. We go on daily walks, I do not crate them but when I have pets that I do sit, I would separate them safety wise. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. While I was in high school and college I worked for two animal clinics in the Metro Atlanta area and volunteered with local animal shelters. My family pets over the past 22 years were 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mixes that all lived to be seniors. I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. I only take one client at a time. I do not have any pets of my own. Yours will have my undivided attention and care. I will update you with photos and status reports on a daily basis. Please understand that while we have experience with senior dogs and dogs with special needs, we are currently unable to book dogs that are experiencing incontinence (even with diapers) and night time pacing/spatial disorientation/sleeplessness that comes with senility. Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk. My home is clean and safe. I have a secure, fenced in yard with many areas to explore and space to run around. All gates are padlocked. I also stay outside with the dogs that are in my care. I leave a full bowl of water out 24 -7. I allow dogs to sleep in my bed if that is what they are accustomed to, I can also crate them if that is preferred. Your dog(s) will be safe and happy as guests in my home. I have a Red Cross Certification in Pet First Aid in the rare occasion there would be a need. I am also sensitive to dogs with thunder and firework fears, we have a comfy furnished basement space that mutes the bad sounds and we hang out there until everything calms down.

I started helping take care of my grandparents' two Golden Retrievers when I was around 9 or 10 years old, and as I got older I helped feed them, let them outside, played with them, and made sure they were happy and comfortable. About: I'm a sahm so I have flexible hours! I have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own, including a senior dog. I have tons of experience with puppies, kittens and administration of medication. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is flexible. I do go to the gym everyday so I would need to be able to do that. My son, he's 7would be with me during the week but if it was overnights for the weekend he would not. I do not care for pets in my own home it would need to be your home. I'm happy to house sit and take them on walks.
About: I currently pet sit often for my best friend. She has a rescue dog that has special requirements and I have gained his trust and go walk him and his brother when she travels. Understanding that the dogs past experiences can influence their behaviors is very important to me. Some need more patience and understanding than others. About: I have experience with all walks of life when it comes to animals. From fish to farm animals. I have two cats and two dogs and chickens and goats and pigs and ducks. Along with house birds. I am currently not working. I am a stay-at-home mom. So my schedule is pretty open. Especially to boarding I have the space for it. TimeWise I do work around my toddler schedule for dog walking and Cat sitting. I have a fenced in backyard. A very large house. I also have four kids that love animals. So an animal that loves kids would be preferred. But not completely out of the question if there is a child issue I can just keep my kids away from the animal. Pretty easy to fix.
