“Kristin was absolutely wonderful with our dog! She was reliable, communicative, and genuinely cared. She kept us updated while we were away and made the whole experience stress-free. Our dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. We would definitely book with Kristin again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter.”

“Jaela came home totally exhausted, so Ladonna and her husband did a fantastic job taking care of her again. We definitely recommend them, they love what they do and it shows.”

“Kyrie was amazing! Cooper had a blast while we were away. Kyrie was very attentive to Cooper and frequently took him on walks. He kept us updated with lots of photos and videos making our trip away stress free and knowing Cooper was in good hands. Highly recommend and will be using Kyrie again in the future.”

“I had a great experience with Ray! He answered messages in a very timely manner, set up a meet & greet before I booked my boarding appointment, and kept me updated with pictures and videos while I was out of town! Both his yard and house are well-maintained and dog-friendly. I would highly recommend Ray to anyone looking for boarding/daycare services for their dog(s). I will definitely come back to Ray for any future services my dog may need!”

“Dana and Brandon were great. Clean and welcoming environment. Kinda felt like dropping our fur-kid off at a friends house for the weekend. They stayed in touch with us and sent updates and pics. We will definitely be calling on them in the future and recommending them to our friends.”

“I left my dog Zara with Shaniece to get away for the weekend with my family. Shaniece was very timely in responses, she sent great detailed updates, and cute pictures. I was not worried at all. I knew Zara was in great hands. When we dropped her off she knew Shaniece was good people too. She went straight to her with no problems. I would most definitely book her again. I highly recommend!!!”

“I am one of those dog owners who is a "Nervous Nellie" when it comes to boarding my dog. I have a sweet but shy golden retriever and had never used a private sitter for her. Kathy provided EXCELLENT care for my sweet Fiona. Kathy's 2 labs were extremely welcoming and Fiona bonded with them. I received cute photos daily of Fiona playing with Roo or snoozing. Fiona received so much love and attention and play time while she was there; attention she would have NEVER received if I had boarded her at a kennel. I highly recommend Kathy and will DEFINITELY use her boarding service again.”

“Valerie is very personable and treated my dog like one of her own. She scheduled time for my dog to visit prior to booking to ensure it was a good fit. She also asked all the necessary questions about my dog to have a better understanding of how to care for her in my absence. The visit went so well that I booked again right away for the next week. I would highly recommend Valerie’s services.”

About: Dogs are active and social animals that need more of a routine than just use the bathroom, lay down,& eat. They need a being of infinite energy to match their drive, but also a responsible leader that allows fun to be had safely. I’m that being. All the hype in the world to rival your crazy dogs energy, but relaxed enough to simmer down for the more down to earth dogs. Big or small, trained or untrained, chaotic or calm, I’m the man for any and every dog. I currently have all the time in the world for your animals! Last minute request or 1 week in advance, I’m there for your furry friends! I keep my eyes on the dogs 100% of the time, especially if they are untrained. Dogs can AND will get into things behind your back and what they can do under no supervision is dangerous for the dog and others. I believe in preventing things before it even happens. Crate training, food training, mental exercises, etc is what I do to have my dog see me as leader that follow my guide. I’m a clean and organized person as well, so tif they think about escaping my all seeing eyes, they have nothing to get into! Once disciplined, they can have some leeway, but still have my undivided attention!
About: I’ve had pets my whole life! I’m experienced with cats (including neonatal kittens), dogs, amphibians, reptiles, rodents, lagomorphs, arthropods and freshwater fish. Whether your dog is high energy or a couch potato, I am happy and able to meet their unique needs! I’m a full time stay at home mom to two dogs, a hamster, a blue tongue skink and even a human child. I am always available to tend to your pets needs. I can accommodate any requests surrounding caring for your pet in your home. If you’d prefer to bring them to me, they will be given around the clock care and attention with frequent updates. If your pet is not dog-friendly, they will be kept in their own separate room away from my dogs. If they are dog friendly, they are welcome to play with the whole family!
“Rudy has serious separation anxiety, but did well at Kim’s. It took a few days to warm up, but he finally started running/playing with other dogs. Kim sent us videos & pics while we were gone, which I really appreciate!”

“Adria and her husband took good care of my Bella. It was very cold outside so not much chance for walks or playing.. but Bella was comfy on the bed with blankets and snacks.”

About: I have had animals all of my life and love caring for and playing with them. I will always treat your animals like my own. I am a stay at home mom of three, so I have open availability. My two older kidd are gone for school during the week. So its just me and my three year old. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs who like meeting new dog friends. They would be let out multiple times a day and fed depending in your feeding schedule and played with constantly.
“I was kept updated about my pup Ashley while out of state. They took such great care of her and were patient with her severe anxiety. Definitely recommend them for others!!”

About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs for over 15 years. I grew up in a cat-loving home, where my parents welcomed seven cats into our family. My siblings and I all shared the responsibility of caring for them, so looking after animals has always been a part of my life. We also always had big dogs! Mastiffs, Labrador Retrievers, and a Standard Poodle, I’m very comfortable caring for both large and small breeds. Our newest family member, Penny the Chihuahua, has given me plenty of experience earning the trust of shy, skittish, anxious, and even grumpy little pups. I understand that some dogs and cats need a little extra time to feel comfortable, and I’m committed to respecting their boundaries while making them feel safe, loved, and cared for. Whether your pet is outgoing or a little more reserved, I’ll meet them where they are and give them the patience and kindness they deserve. To me, pets are so much more than animals, they’re family. While you’re away, I’ll care for your furry family member with the same love, attention, and respect that I would give my own, so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands!

“Kalia was wonderful. I was worried about using Rover for my 6 week old kittens but they were in good hands with her. Great communication and my baby kitties really seemed to like her. 10/10, I would schedule her again.”

“Arsiyana is so sweet and took great care of our cats. She went above and beyond to make sure Dexter and Max weren’t too lonely while we were gone. Loved the daily updates and pictures she sent each time she visited. Would recommend her and would use her again!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Catherine did such a great job taking care of our baby. She loved on him the whole time we were gone so he felt special even when we couldn't be there, which meant so much to us. Would definitely use her again!”

“Ladonna was amazing, she took care of my furbabies while we went away on an impromptu trip. Definitely will be more open-minded to rover again as this was such an easy and enjoyable experience with Ladonna as well! Thank you for all your help we genuinely appreciate you so much!!”

“Kaytlin was so good with my fur babies! Communication was outstanding, she made sure to send plenty of pictures and videos which really calmed my nerves. She even got my shy skid-dish cat to warm up to her quickly with her calm demeanor. Highly recommend!”

“Leia did an amazing job looking after my sweet Whispur for a week. She sent tons of photos and put on a lot of effort to get my shy cat to play instead of hiding from her the entire time. She left our house just as we left it before our trip. I would’ve never been able to tell that someone was here if it weren’t for the photos that proved otherwise. 10/10! Would book again.”

“Katherine was amazing! She was so loving to our fur & feather babies, stayed in communication about their progress, and took good care of the space while she stayed. Will definitely be calling her again!”

“Mckenzie was great with our dogs & cats! She’s very professional and communicative. We were out of state for almost 2 weeks and had zero issues. We definitely recommend her!”

“Brenda has watched my cat several times. She's always consistent and shows him so much love. I'm so thankful I can rely on Brenda when I have to be away from home, she's become like family.”

“She was absolutely amazing to my Zuko. She sent me videos and pictures of him, and it really made my feel better about him being taken care of. She also made sure he was fed and had water. Highly recommend! It’s comforting to me that she is a vet tech and has her own cats, so she understands. But definitely will be using her again to take care of my baby Zuko.”

“Naomi was amazing to my two cats and truly took them in as her own. She sent me a ton of pictures and gave me a play by play of what they did and state of the house before/after their play date. I truly appreciated her and will definitely recommend to everyone and anyone.”

“Michelle gave my kitten attentive and gentle care over the course of my 1 week vacation. The entire time she gave me updates and I felt so at ease! She always kept me updated on what my kitten was doing and sent videos. She was very communicative and easy to talk to. I would recommend Michelle to anyone she is wonderful and your pets will have great care while you are away! Thanks Michelle!”

“I wish I could give Kirsten 100 stars - she’s wonderful! I am a new cat momma to a rescue and was very anxious to leave. She met me and my fur baby at the house, listening to all my nervous ranting and put me at ease. She sent frequent photos as well as thoughtful messages and updates. I will definitely continue to use her and feel so much better about going out of town.”

About: I’ve worked at the rescue in my hometown for a few years now, I’ve worked in 2 different grooming salons, and have also been involved with some vets. Working at a rescue and a grooming salon gives you so much experience to learn more about each breed and each dog. You get to learn everything about each sweetheart so we’ll over time that you also start to love them like they’re you’re own. I had to deal with almost every experience when it comes to pets as well. I love dogs so very much they have such a soft place in my heart and it’s always great to get to learn about their owners as well when they’re steady customers! Boarding and grooming is something I do full time on my own, I’m home all the time unless I need to run and errand or two. Your pets will get lots and lots of attention their whole stay! We live where there is a fenced in property, 2 large dogs who are very pet friendly. We take up lots of time with pets staying with us to make them feel as comfortable as possible and just because we absolutely love all fur babies!
“Lindsey did an amazing job with my two labradors! I was very nervous about needing to leave them with a stranger for several days and did not want them left in a cage all day. Lindsey communicated closely with me and sent pictures of the dogs and her family interacting a several times a day. The day care was for three days and the pups were very excited to see Lindsey. I will have them stay with Lindsey again as future travel needs arise.”

About: I've worked in animal care for several years, starting at a dog boarding and daycare facility where I spent six years. I began as a kennel technician and worked my way up to general manager, gaining extensive experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, behaviors, and medical needs. I'm currently pursuing a long-term goal of becoming a veterinary technician. In my free time, I foster animals for a local rescue that I'm passionate about. I take pride in using fear-free handling techniques, understanding animal body language, working through behavioral challenges, and providing compassionate care for medically compromised pets. While I'm relatively new to Rover, I've been caring for pets in my home for years. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving their owners peace of mind. I'll treat your pets like they're my own and will keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay. I work full-time as a veterinary assistant at a local animal hospital. I have at least two days off each week and work a half day on Wednesdays. While I am away during part of the day, I come home every day during my hour lunch break to let your baby out for a potty break, playtime, and some extra love and attention. In the evenings, I enjoy taking dogs for walks (weather permitting) and spending quality time with them. When I have pets in my care, I plan my schedule around their needs. I avoid making additional plans so I can provide plenty of one-on-one attention, playtime, cuddles, and consistency with their normal routine. I do provide care in your home, with the same schedule/availability. Such as; going to your home on my break to care for the pet(s), only sitting for one family at a time, walks, etc. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable, loved, and at home as possible while you're away. I have a fully fenced backyard. I also have a pool that is currently being fenced for added safety. My philosophy is simple: pets are never left unattended outside. If your pet is crate-trained or simply feels more comfortable in a crate, I have plenty of space to set one up for daytime or overnight use. I only care for one client's pet(s) at a time to provide the safest environment and plenty of one-on-one attention. I have a designated "dog cabinet" stocked with essentials like pill pockets, peanut butter, and ability to keep any medications your pet may need during their stay. If your pet rides in my vehicle, I use a pet seat belt to help keep them secure during travel. I ask that owners provide a properly fitted harness or collar and leash. If you're unable to do so, I have extras available (with your permission) to safely transfer your pet to and from my home and for walks. I do my best to maintain your pet's normal feeding schedule, so I appreciate detailed instructions regarding meals, treats, and any special preferences. I also always ask about food sensitivities, allergies, or other dietary needs to ensure your pet stays happy and healthy. These apply to in your home as well.

I have a mostly fenced in yard and will be taking that fix into priority, I just don’t currently have the funds to finish the other side of the fence. Leashed walks and potty breaks will be the for front of my care until we are able to fix the fence. About: I am a passionate pet lover with a lifelong fondness for fluffy friends. While lacking formal experience, my genuine love for animals, nurtured by caring for my childhood pet and assisting friends with pet sitting, ensures a compassionate and reliable companion for your fluffy family members! 🫶🏾 I had a cat named Aspen for about 10 years as a child before she sadly was hit by a car. 😞 She was the most unique colored cat I’ve ever seen to this day and I miss her dearly. After Aspen passed away, my parents didn’t and still doesn’t allow us to buy/adopt another pet. 💔 Because of this, any chance I have to interact with an animal, I will take it! Once I found out about this app, I RAN to apply and got accepted quickly! 🥰 My parents do not like animals in the house, but after some hard convincing lol— they allowed me to watch my bestfriends dog for a couple a weeks as well as one of my other friends cat which we kept for 4 months because she went abroad! 😝 Although I personally do not have a pet myself, because of my relatives, I’ve always been around a range of different animals! 🐾 My boyfriend has had a pekapoo for as long as our relationship lol (3 years so far) which I always care for when I’m visiting him! 😊 He knows how I desperately long for one of my own therefore he lets me take care of her when I visit… which is very often. 😆 While I may lack formal professional experience and currently don't have a pet of my own due to circumstances beyond my control 😔, my deep love for animals, nurtured by cherished memories of Aspen and countless experiences caring for friends' pets, fuels my unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care for your furry family members 🙌🏾. I understand the importance of trust when it comes to entrusting your beloved pets to someone else's care, and I am here to alleviate any concerns or questions you may have 🫡. With me, your fur baby will receive nothing short of attentive, compassionate, and reliable care 😊. I would be honored to be entrusted with the well-being of your beloved pets, so please don't hesitate to reach out and book with me! Your furry friend's happiness and safety are my top priorities!🔝🫶🏾💕 I work for myself as an esthetician so my schedule is pretty flexible! As long as it is okay with the owner, I am able to stop by and sit mostly everyday! I have a big yard for playtime and nice neighborhood for walks. I like to keep things as tidy as possible especially when I’m someone else’s home.
About: I've always had at least one dog at any given time, and up to 4 at the most. I know what a fur baby needs, whether it's petting and naps to repetitive frisbee or tennis ball play! I enjoy the love each doggie brings. I know how hard it is to be at work or out of town and wonder if they are being adored in the same capacity as I would want to show. I can help alleviate the stress of being bored and alone all day, so YOU get all the best parts of your loving pup at the end of your long day. If they need snuggles, you've got the right girl! If they need a brisk hike or a run, let's give them what they deserve! Cats, birds, snakes, lizards and fish are all cared for in my presence

About: I grew up on a farm and have 15+ years of experience caring for all kinds of pets, including dogs and cats! I love caring for pets and feel confident that my “animal whisperer” skills ( as my friends say), will come in handy with your pet! I work full time, but can stop by in the mornings before 9:30, during my lunch around 12, and anytime after 6 during the week! Weekends I am fully flexible for whatever is needed! I am eager to meet your pets needs and will be diligent in respecting your pet’s routines, quirks, and household expectations! Your pet’s safety and happiness are my #1 priorities!
