“Nancy & Stan are amazing hosts! There was daily communication and pictures. Their family loved on our fur babies like their own. First time with them, as well as Rover. We would definitely use them again. They went above and beyond. The kids are used to “flavoring” with their meals from us. They did not have to, but they gave them “extras” with their meals. Very clean, smoke free home. Our babies were well cared for and loved. It was wonderful to go on vacation and not have to worry about them. Nancy even washed his belly bands, very thoughtful. About: To comfort any animal brings comfort to myself. I have experience with all kinds of pets and love all animals but cats are what you’d find in my home. It’s a common misconception that cats don’t require much attention but as a domesticated animal they thrive on human companionship while also having many natural instincts to accommodate. Some require more attention than others depending on their personality. One of the most important instincts to satisfy is the need to hunt/play. There are some automatic or interactive toys that work well but for the most part the best toy is something on the end of a string attached to a wand/rod and their human’s participation. This way you can mimic the evasive movements of an actual prey for your cat to hunt. This provides exercise and stimulation and I would be happy to play with your cat(s) I’m very good at befriending anxious or less trusting cats and identifying the things that exacerbate their anxiety and finding solutions to comfort them. I also have experience administering medications. With a cat the easiest route of administration is a liquid solution mixed in with some wet food or treat or squirted into the back side of the mouth with an oral syringe. Giving a cat a pill can be more difficult but it can be done. I would wrap them in a towel or blanket, lubricate pill so it doesn’t stick to fingers or tongue, tilt head back and insert pill into back of the mouth, return head to level position and rub their throat and/or slightly blow on the nose to stimulate swallowing reflexes, then give them a treat and love them! When possible I scoop our 3 cats’ boxes after every use. I’m happy to clean and scoop your cat’s box(es) with the same vigilance. A clean litter box is one factor in ensuring a healthy and happy cat!

At this time, I’m not offering boarding in my home or overnight stays in clients’ homes. I currently focus on drop-in visits and dog walking, where I can give pets reliable, one-on-one care in their own environment. During each visit, I make sure your pet is fed, has fresh water, gets exercise or playtime, and plenty of attention. I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. I’m also happy to follow any special instructions, including medications or specific care needs. I respect your home and make sure everything is left clean, safe, and secure. You’ll also receive regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. As my schedule grows, I may expand my services in the future!
About: I am animal lover and I have been taking care of many animals (dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, spiders, reptiles, opossums, raccoon and you named it. They mean the world to me just like you.
