About: I've had animals all of my life and I love taking care of them. We are both fond of dogs and cats. We will provide excellent care for your pet. I am now retired and at home. We would be available any day of the week to help with the care of your animal We have a fenced backyard and also a sunroom that we can use if needed. We have a dog and cats of our own in the home, but they all get along with other animals. I am currently retired and at home every day unless we have something planned and I would update my calendar to reflect that if needed. We have a fenced yard and also a sunroom if needed to keep pets in a separate area. We can take them out as needed for potty breaks.

In addition to caring daily for Arwyn, our female Catahoula, I have time for drop-in visits at your home and walks in your neighborhood with your dogs. Arwyn, our female Catahoula, is a climber, and even with a fenced-in backyard, Arwyn is always on a retractable leash and harness. It only takes a moment for an accident to happen in busy neighborhoods, and safety is my priority. Arwyn is always in a travel harness attached to a seat belt when she needs to be transported.

About: I have worked at a dog boarding facility as a kennel tech. I have worked with large, small, mean, nice, calm and hyper dogs. I love them all! I have also grown up with dogs and cats my entire life! I have a flexible schedule for drop in’s or dog walks! I’m available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays from 10 AM- 7PM. Weekends I’m available from 10AM-8PM. During walks I will always make sure your pet is comfortable and willing to go. If they seem to be getting too hot I will take them back to their home and offer water and stay until they return back to normal temperature. I know pavement gets hot during the summer so I also take heavy consideration to that. I want all pets to feel comfortable and happy while their owners are gone!

Also, I have experience with animals who may need special care with injuries or post-surgery. I do not mind traveling but I do ask if you must cancel to let me know in a respectful amount of time. This allows me to adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs; whether that means early morning walks, midday visits, or evening check-ins. If your home doesn’t have a fenced in yard, then I will take your dog out on a leash to ensure safety.
