About: Hello my name is Claudia, I am born and raised in Switzerland and I am looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies! My love for animals started at a young age. I grew up with dogs, cats, birds and ponies, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. About: I work from home, have a fenced in backyard, a flexible schedule, and only take one family at a time. I have experience with animals across the lifespan from bottle-fed kittens to senior dogs, special needs pets, and a variety of different animals. I've had pets my whole life: cats (kittens and seniors), dogs (puppies and seniors), birds, fish, and even a domestic rat named Mortimer. I am the first person my friends and family ask to pet sit, because their animals love me, and I love them like my own. I used to foster for a pet rescue and had 10 cats at one point. They were all well taken care of and somehow they all got along! I even fostered a paraplegic cat who I took to physical therapy and had to help him eliminate manually, and a diabetic cat who I had to give insulin injections to. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. This allows for plenty of playtime in the fenced in backyard, cuddles, and walks in our quiet cul-de-sac community. My goal is to provide affordable, reliable care for those who may need to be away from their fur babies during the day or during travel, and want a safe, loving, fun place for them to stay. I have a fenced in back yard and a quiet community, perfect for daytime dog care or boarding. My 7 year old daughter loves animals and is a good helper. Between the two of us, your pet will never be bored or lack for companionship. When caring for dogs, they must be good with children and I would like to arrange a meet and greet beforehand. I prefer to pet sit one animal at a time, or one family at a time (if the family has multiple pets). I prefer not to have animals from different families at the same time, to avoid causing stress and discomfort for the animals.

About: Thank you for considering me, I can’t wait to meet your critter! I have volunteered with Compassion Animal Rescue Endeavor of Tallahassee during all four years of undergrad. Here I assisted with dog training classes, guided socialization of the rescue dogs, and walked dogs regularly. It was a great experience to see rescues come in and to then see them blossom into happy, healthy pets! Additionally, I have volunteered with Jacksonville Humane Society during my summer internship in 2018. In my time in this volunteer position I was trained in both dog and cat handling as well as dog walking techniques. These technical trainings have allowed me to have an increased awareness of behavioral aspects of the animals. I would love to continue this hobby of mine through Rover. I love spending time with animals of all sizes and temperaments, and my training has well prepared me to look after your pet! *you’re first of course, but I am stiff competition! Now, I have a 10-year-old Husky mix named Rizzo, who I love with my whole heart. I love helping dogs and cats get the love and exercise they need, and getting to help someone out at the same time! I am a voice teacher, so my availability will be limited some afternoons, but I always do my best to keep my availability accurate, and I never schedule a walk/sitting unless I am 100% available! I will also always communicate how long my work will keep me away from your pet; transparency is key! Your pet's safety is always most important to me, so I always make sure never to bite off more than I can chew, even if that means not being able to accept a sitting/walking job. About: I may be new to pet sitting on Rover but I am not new to animals! I grew up with a dog and 2 cats, and started pet sitting for the neighbors in high school. Now I have my own cat and pet sit for family members dogs pretty often. I work 3-4 weekday mornings, and typically have my weekends free. If your pets needs morning care on a day that I work, I am absolutely willing to do an early morning drop in (before 6am). My schedule also allows me to do both afternoon and evening drop ins most days. If you’re curious about specific days, please don’t hesitate to reach out! I cannot currently bring other pets into my home, but I promise to treat yours like I would my own! If you give me a list of rules, I will follow them to a T. About: Hello my name is Claudia, I am born and raised in Switzerland and I am looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies! My love for animals started at a young age. I grew up with dogs, cats, birds and ponies, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. As a teenager, I walked and cared for my neighbors dogs, which taught me the importance of being dependable and attentive to each pet’s unique needs. Today, I’m a proud owner of three amazing dogs two Husky/ German Shepherd mixes and one deaf mini Aussie. I’m retired so taking care of pets would be my only job. I usually get up early and walk my dogs around 6 am for about 45 minutes . About: The Care Takers That is primarily me. I love pets. I have a dog of my own. I became a sitter because I know how important it is to have a safe and affordable place for our furry family members to stay. I also really enjoy training dogs. I usually spend 15 min per day trying new tricks with my pups and any guest pups in the house. My partner lives with me as well. He also loves dogs. He is a vigilant food and water bowl filler upper. He's also a loyal behind-the-ears-doggy-scratcher. The Companions Lola and Quinn are my roommates. Lola is an American Cocker Spaniel who is 9 years old. Quinn is our cat that is calm and friendly. They are both friendly with small and large dogs. The Home Is located off Ridge Road in Smyrna. The house has hardwood throughout and tile in the kitchen/sunroom. Pets are allowed in all areas of the home as long as they've been house trained. We have a large crate for dogs who have been crate trained and are comfortable staying in one while we are away. Dogs are allowed on the couch as long as owners allow this type of behavior in their own home (we don't want to break any obedience training that has been established). The Outside I live in a single-family home with a large back yard. It is 75% fenced with a natural tree line and small creek on the far end. Keeping pets contained to this area is manageable but pets can be kept on leash if they’re known to be runners! There are plenty of shaded areas. There is a large and small patio that the dogs have access to. On warm days I fill up the doggy pool. For the most part, the backyard is free-range. My pets play fetch with balls, sticks, and frisbees. They are very friendly and are not protective or territorial of their food or toys. I work from home most days and am available for walks, playtime, naps, and pet specific care throughout the day. We are up and moving round early and keep a pretty steady schedule. I have a large yard fenced on three sides with a creek bordering the final side where dogs can run and have fun in a safe environment (if mom and dad approve).

But Jennifer sent me pics of him completely chill getting Belly rubs from her daughter. ❤️ When we picked him up he didn’t even rush to leave. He was very content.
