“This was our first time using Rover. We recently adopted two “feral” cats that are not too feral. We had Mikaela come and check up on them while we were away. She was great and they were very happy to see her. She gave them their favorite wet food, filled the feeders, cleaned and checked water, and even got a few pats in. “We had our three dogs spend a day with Kathrine while we were visiting the North Georgia Wildlife & Safari Park during a week long stay at Unicoi State Park. They say they each give Ms. K four paws up for a fantastic visit for a total of 12 paws up. We unfortunately got a flat tire just before reaching her house, so we had to do a tire repair there and we got to see how quickly our pups calmed down around her as a new person and being in a new location. We definitely would not hesitate to use her again.”

I can house dogs at my own house, but I have also sat at other people’s homes for seven years now. My three dogs are crate trained, and they sleep in their crate at night. They are allowed on the furniture, but they are not allowed on the bed. We also have a doggie door and a fenced in backyard! I am able to adapt to any dogs schedule as my puppies are very low key!

About: I have grew up around animals. I volunteered at a vet's office and was also in agriculture classes in high school. I have since got more experience working with animals for about 2 years as a kennel tech at a vet’s office and animal shelter. I’m also certified in pet CPR and currently in school for dog training. I’m trying to build a career up in the animal field to eventually have a business as a dog trainer, doggy day care, and possibly boarding as well. I’m currently doing in school for dog training so I’m not working anywhere right now. So I’m trying to pet sit well I’m finishing school. I’m also hoping during pet sitting I can meet lots of wonderful dog owners and dogs to hopefully since I’m trying to make a career in this as well. So I’m available daily but I do go to church on Sundays so it would be after 2p that I would be available. Unfortunately I currently can board dogs at my house right now but I’m hoping to be able to in the future. But I don’t make that at a owner’s house when taking the dogs out they are on a leash if needed. I also make sure that I do exactly what requests the owner’s have and just treat the animals like I would want my animals treated.

About: Ever since I was 10 I have had experience taking care of animals. At one point in time we had 26 animals throughout our house that we had to care for. I take pride in caring for animals because they are a true joy and blessing in this world. I also have a dog of my own who is very well trained that I have had for 7 years now. About: I have been passionate about pet care since I was very young. I take care of all kinds of animals! From ferrets and rabbits, fish, cats, and of course dogs. I worked at a vet clinic for some years and learned a great deal and acquired valuable experience! I also went to school and got certified as a professional dog trainer and have been doing that off and on for the past 5 years. I fostered shelter dogs and puppies for a long time. Crating or keeping dogs or different animals separate is no issue for me, I can give medication, do routine walks or make sure they are exercised in their own yard if needed.
