He has been fired from several boarding facilities for his bad attitude. Well, Caylei was willing to take him on and not only that, her care and patience was rewarded with a super happy cat all week! I am truly so thankful to have found her. She sent me updates, photos, and videos while I was gone, which really helped ease my mind. “When we needed to make a quick trip to New Hampshire we scheduled a “meet and greet” to visit with Virginia and see how our recently adopted dogs would react to a stranger as they are not socialized with people. Normally they bark and are hyperactive when seeing any stranger. After five minutes they were calm and seemed to be “at home” with Virginia! Virginia cared for our fur babies for five days and we were more than pleased with the care she took with them. She has the experience and skills to make dogs “comfortable” in new surroundings. She kept us updated with photos and text messages letting us know how they were doing on a daily basis. When our flight was delayed in returning due to weather and we were several hours late Virginia was most gracious allowing us to pick up our dogs late at night as she knew we were anxious to see them… for this we are most appreciative for her understanding as well as cooperation. We can recommend Virginia without reservation and believe she loves dogs as much as we do. Virginia provides excellent care.”

About: Registered Veterinary Technician who works emergency medicine on the weekends looking for extra work through the week. I can’t stay at your house overnight, but your pet can come to mine. I can also do drop ins pretty regularly. I graduated college with a degree in Veterinary technology and passed my state boards. I work at an emergency clinic in Atlanta on the weekends and right now I’m free through the week. I can try my best to work out whatever you need help with. I’m skilled at giving medications and anything basic your pet may need in home, as well as lifesaving care due to any emergency. I can keep non child friendly cats in a different area, but dogs must be child friendly. I do have cats & ferrets, but they can be kept separately if your animals are not cat & small rodent friendly. I have 2 dogs as well. All of my animals are pet friendly with everything as many animals have come through my care fostering. I'm skilled in exotic pet care as well if necessary. I currently only work weekend overnights in the ER. So, I am home all week caring for my fur babies. As well as yours hopefully! I strive to care for anyone's else's pets exactly as I would my own. When they are with me, they are my babies too. I bring my ER compassion with me when I pet sit, in the ER the pets are without their owners & they are scared on top of being hurt. While my pet sits may not be hurt, I'm aware they could be nervous & unfamiliar. I try to treat them with the upmost compassion & kindness.

I always keep your pup comfortable in their own space, whether that means extra cuddles on the couch, supervised backyard time, or simply providing a calm and familiar presence while you’re away. For walks, I focus on both exercise and safety. Every walk is tailored to your dog’s energy level—whether it’s a brisk jog for high-energy pups or a relaxed stroll for older dogs. I use secure leashes and harnesses, stay alert to surroundings, and make sure your dog gets the fresh air, stimulation, and potty breaks they need. With 6 years of experience, plus being a dog parent myself, I treat every dog like family. While my weekly schedule changes based on my studies and schoolwork, any pet care can be placed between them all. If there is a day or time you need me to be available that is not on my availability, I am always happy to negotiate! In my home, I adapt the pets' schedule to the way my home is. I have plenty of roaming space inside, but also outside for pets (leashed) that enjoy being outside and exploring. If your dog is crate-trained and needs to be in theirs, I can easily crate them. I also have 4 friendly cats that can keep your pet company, but if your pet does not like other animals, I also have the layout to keep them safely separated. About: I’ve grown up with animals and have always felt a deep love for them. My grandfather had a farm, so dogs, cats, chickens, horses, donkeys, and have loved every moment of being there. Now, my in-laws have a farm with 2 large breed dogs, goats, chickens and a mommy donkey and baby donkey which is my dream to have this as well! First thing in the morning I get my school aged girls breakfast going and the dogs and cats get their breakfast as well. The girls say their goodbyes and give loves before heading to school and the fur babies go in the backyard to play, use the potty and sunbathe or chill in the shade then back inside for some play, cuddles, or just hanging out. I really just go by what each fur baby’s preferences are. I’m a stay-at-home mom and this is my full-time job. So my day-to-day will be with your pet, loving them and caring for them just like or as close as I can to how you love and care for them. We have a large fenced in yard, but the dogs come and go in and out as they please. At bedtime they are in for the night and sleep in their crate or as we get more comfortable and see how they do on their bed or with the person they want to snuggle with that night. ***I do ask that pets are bathed before their arrival, just as a precaution for my pets, home and children.
