I have loved and cared for my own pets for decades, and have spent the past 5 years caring for others' furry family members. I'm an experienced dog walker and trainer, and am comfortable walking dogs of all sizes. I have 3 years of experience training dogs and puppies, including working with reactive and fearful pups. Regardless of your dog's particular quirks, they are welcome here! I am an experienced foster, dog walker, and trainer for the local humane society. I am confident managing dogs with behavioral issues, including reading body language, and keeping dogs separate from other animals if they require that. I am comfortable giving medication, both orally and via injections, and I will give patient and loving care to your sick or senior dogs who need a little extra love. I am happy to keep up with any training while you're away (be it puppy training, potty training, obedience work, or leash manners.) I treat all my dog guests like part of the family, and your dogs are welcome to join the pack while they are here, any day of the week! I work full-time, but always come home for an hour at lunchtime to care for and tend to the dogs. Everyone gets a walk and yard time before I head to work, and plenty of playtime and attention when I get home. Dogs are never left for more than 4 hours. What your dog can expect: 🐕🦺Leash walks! Your dog will enjoy at least one solid walk every day (either on his own, or joining my two dogs for a pack walk). 🦴🥎 Secure Playtime! Your dog will love romping and playing in my fenced backyard, lounging under the trees, and splashing in the doggy pool. All playtimes are well-supervised, to ensure everyone is well-mannered and safe. 💤 Quiet private space: There are two doggy guest suites set up in my home, complete with their own bed, crate, food & water dishes. This ensures that your dog can relax during naptimes, meal-times, and bedtimes, without any other pups bothering them. 🏠 Part of the family When your dogs are here, they're part of the pack, and I'll care for them just like my own dogs. This means equal access to couches, dog beds, belly rubs, and frisbees. Depending on your dog's needs, they may join my dogs in the house and yard, or they may get their own solo couch time & play time, if they prefer not to be around other dogs. About: Hello! I was proud owner of an adorable greyhound named Dixie who was a retired racer. I also just had to put down our 11 year old Golden Retriever Lab mix dog. We used to go for walks and play in our backyard. Sine greyhound have horrible teeth we had brush her teeth. We also had to occasionally give both our dogs medication orally. Before Dixie and Lucy came into my life I grow up with a cocker spaniel and Pomeranian poodle mix. I learned how to care for them at a young age which is where my love for dogs started. Animals are truly important members of the family and are like another child to us. As we are not ready to add another dog of our own to our family we would love to care for yours now. I believe all animals should have a safe home to live with a caring family. I am available all day during the week at my house as I work from home and am available most weekends. I cannot wait to share my passion for dogs by helping you care for yours! I am a 100% remote worker, so I am home pretty much all day. With the exception of a quick drop off and pick up from daycare for our 3 year old. We have a fully fenced in yard with lots of room for your pup to run around. Two months after hurricane Maria I lived in Puerto Rico for 2 years taking care of homeless dogs, puppies, cats, kittens and horses. There are hundreds! I became a volunteer with the rescue group Homeward Bound. Recently, my kitty passed away at age 18 and now I am opening my home to love your pet the way I have mine and all the others I've cared for over the years. As soon as you bring your dog to me we'll go for a walk in order to create a bond and allow your dog to get a feel for the neighborhood and golf cart paths. I worked as a registered nurse for 35 years. Since retirement, I moved to Peachtree City in order to be close to my kids and grandkids. I'm active taking Pilates classes and playing pickleball but will devote my time to your pet when they are in my care. I love the freedom retirement has given me. Sharing my time with four-legged friends is the best ~ second only to my GrandKids. ❣️ My home is your pets home from the minute they get here until you pick them up. I live within walking distance to Glenloch Park. If you have an active dog, we will take multiple walks daily to the park and on the golf cart paths. I believe all animals should have a safe home to live with a caring family. I am available all day during the week at my house as I work from home and am available most weekends. I cannot wait to share my passion for dogs by helping you care for yours! I am a 100% remote worker, so I am home pretty much all day. With the exception of a quick drop off and pick up from daycare for our 3 year old. We have a fully fenced in yard with lots of room for your pup to run around. We can also crate your dog if they are crate trained and give medicine you provide if needed.

I have plenty of time to take care of and play with the pets. Please let me know if your dog has set schedules. Pets are supervised in the home. When feeding the dogs I do keep separated for safety reasons. For bed time/nap time dogs have their own hang out area.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I could walk. I have never had a time in my life where I have not had at least one dog. I currently have a 5 year old pit mix. I just lost my 15 year old girl. I trained them both from 8 week puppies. So I have extensive experience with puppies and seniors. I am skilled at giving medication and can work with anxious or reactive or hyperactive dogs. I am happy to keep up with any training while you're away (be it puppy training, potty training, obedience work, or leash manners.) I work full-time, but always come home for an hour at lunchtime to care for and tend to the dogs. Everyone gets a walk and yard time before I head to work, and plenty of playtime and attention when I get home. Dogs are never left for more than 4 hours. What your dog can expect: 🐕🦺Leash walks! Plus she sends pictures and videos so you can see how well your dog is doing in her care. Her having her daughter there to play with my big baby sealed the deal.
