“Shayla is amazing! Our Stella gets so excited to spend the weekend with all of her friends and we have complete peace of mind knowing she is having fun and being loved on like she’s part of Shayla’s family. “It was my first time booking with Melissa and let me tell you she did an excellent job! The communication was great and she went above and beyond for my cats and reptiles spending time with them and playing with them. About: I've had over 20 years of pet care experience, ranging between several different dog breeds and sizes, cats, rodents, reptiles, and even some bird-sitting. I understand each pet is different in their own way, some needing certain medications or volumes of food and water, and other pets are easier to take care of, but their owners need someone last minute to help watch and take care of their beloved pets. I also know when it comes to more than one pet in the household, some pets can get rowdy with each other and may tend to hurt one other, so I'm used to cleaning up after and treating the occasional bites or scratches they inflict. Having to give medications, give special food, and even seeing blood or recent wounds on animals doesn't stop me from providing the care they need while their owners are away at work or vacation or whatever else life has thrown their way. I've been known to be a reliable petsitter by many friends and family members over the years, and I make sure to follow all needs and specifications for each pet, regardless of their age and their size. At the moment, I am available all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and then on Mondays and Wednesdays I am attending a class from 9:30 AM to 12:30 AM, which anytime before or afterwards I can help walk or watch over pets. While I do not currently offer petsitting at my own home due to my roommates, I understand that every owner's household and every pet is different. I make sure that each of the doors and windows are closed and locked for the pet's safety, unless otherwise specified by the owners. If there are certain rooms or parts of the house off-limits to myself or the pets, I keep us away from those areas for the owner's privacy. And if the pets do tend to make a mess or I use any of the utilities of the home to help clean and take care of the pets, I make sure that everything is turned off and cleaned up afterwards so there are no messes for the owners when they return to their home and beloved pets.

About: I've had animal experience as long as I can remember. I've had a ton of pets growing up, from ferrets, to fish, to cats, and of course dogs. I had to take care of all of them and all of the responsibilities in taking care of a pet. Animals make me a happier and better person. One day I plan on owning and operating my own pet day care, where you can bring any animal you'd like and myself and my crew will take care of them Every morning when I wake up, the first thing I do is take care of my pet; I let my dogs out and I feed them. They go out multiple times a day and get fed twice a day. I will provide your pet with as much outside time as needed. If you have a crate and they consider their crate as their safe space, I will be more than happy to set it up in my home.
“We reached out to Maria for a last-minute request and she was not only able to accommodate, but was very flexible with us. Sika had an awesome time lounging around with Maria and her family; I thought we may have a hard time getting her to come home with us! 🤣 We will definitely be reaching out to Maria in the future for any of our sitting needs for Sika in this area!”
About: I bring 15 years of hands-on pet care experience, giving me a deep understanding of different breeds, personalities, and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, active dogs, and senior pets who may need extra love, slow walks, or medication reminders. I focus on making pets feel safe, loved, and understood, especially while their family is away. My goal is to keep routines consistent, provide lots of affection, and give you peace of mind with updates, photos, and clear communication. I work from home and I’m also a stay-at-home mom, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for pets throughout the day. I’m home consistently, which means your pet gets lots of attention, playtime, and a steady routine — not just quick check-ins. Whether it’s regular walks, feeding on schedule, or extra cuddle time, I’m able to be present and attentive. Pets are part of our daily rhythm here, and I make sure they feel safe, loved, and included in a calm, comfortable home environment. I truly treat every pet like family. Whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, I focus on keeping their routine familiar and their environment comfortable. I offer plenty of affection, playtime, and patience, and I make sure their needs are met — from feeding and walks to quiet cuddle time. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and comfort level, so they feel safe, understood, and loved while you’re away. My goal is for them to feel at home, not stressed or out of place.
About: I have taken care of animals for 22 years, and I absolutely love it. In fact, my whole life I wanted to be a Vet Tech. I love animals, and have a special connection with each of them. I am currently not working full time, as I just had a baby 6 months ago, so I am able to invest my time and energy with my children and with animals. I will be warm and welcoming to all animals, treating them like my own. I enjoy spoiling fur babies and treat them like real children. I will make sure the animals are safe, fed, comfortable, loved, and anything else that they may need! I have a two story condo, with a back patio, small grass area to walk animals, and cozy spaces for fur babies! I would also be willing to go to the dog park or Mill Creek park with the pets.
About: I've had dogs my entire life and cared for pets of others as well through the years. My husband and I both work from home so we have availability to look after the pets of others daily. We have a dog a cat who get along with other pets. We have adopted puppies and young adult dogs and successfully trained them to be very good dogs. We have cared for senior dogs as well. In our home the pets can be wherever the humans are, including the furniture indoors and outside. I am self employed and work from home so my daily schedule is very open for pet sitting. My husband also works from home so there is always someone home to look after the pets and make sure their needs are being met. Our home is very dog friendly. Everywhere humans can be the dogs can be also. The backyard is fenced in and the gate is rarely ever opened. We have cameras everywhere so we always have a visual of what's going on inside and outside in the yard. If needed we have a baby gate to section off areas for pets.
“Brandy is an amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking day care for their fur family members. She went above and beyond keeping me updated on how my dog was doing in her care and is truly passionate about providing too notch care for dogs.”

About: As a dog sitter, my dedication to your pet's well-being sets me apart. I specialize in both puppy training and senior care, ensuring a tailored and compassionate experience for your furry friend. Hi! I’m a proud military wife and mom of 4, recently relocated from New York. I’m family-oriented, dependable, and love staying active. Still getting to know the area, but excited to connect and build a new start here in Georgia! In my home, I provide a safe and comfortable environment for your pet, including designated play areas and cozy resting spots. I follow your pet's usual routine, providing meals, exercise, and playtime as needed. For clients who prefer in-home care, I ensure your pet's comfort and well-being by visiting at scheduled times, adhering to their routine, and offering companionship and care tailored to their specific needs.

If you are fine with me checking in on your furry friend before and after I am done with work, I’m happy to accommodate that! Sunday-Wednesday’s I am free and available to accommodate the needs you are seeking if it’s just a walk, check in, or even staying over in the comfort of their own home! Will notate and take in any rules, stipulations, or concerns when watching over your furry friends at your place! Give you daily updates about how they’re doing, and inform you about any thing I may notice about your pet of I recognize that I need to!

“Shayla is amazing! Our Stella gets so excited to spend the weekend with all of her friends and we have complete peace of mind knowing she is having fun and being loved on like she’s part of Shayla’s family. We have used her several times now and communication is always clear and quick. We get pictures and videos daily and Stella always comes home better behaved than when we dropped her off.”
