“Terry and her family were great! Otto (my boy) needed a place to stay while I traveled for work, and I am thankful that I found Terry on Rover. We did a meet a greet the day before boarding was to begin, and things went well. On the morning of Otto's drop off, the area was suffering from the devastating aftermath of Hurrican Helene, which left the entire area without water, power, cell service, etc.; however, Terry continued to communicate with me and ensured that Otto could stay with her family while I traveled, as they had a generator and plenty of water. I dropped Otto off after traveling through what felt like a war zone, to be greeted by a smiling Terry! Otto took onto them like they were part of our pack. Throughout Otto's stay, I received multiple daily updates, and many pictures! Terry was always a great communicator, and ensured I remained up to date on Otto's condition, especially since the post-hurricane environment. I will for sure be using Terry again in the future, and I highly recommend her and her family!”

“This was our first time to use Dorothy K. She bonded very quickly with our 12 year old (very shy with strangers) cat. She came for a get acquainted visit to see where things were and to go over when and how much we feed our kitty. She left the feeding area and cat box spotless. She brought in packages for us. She even held on to our house key until we confirmed our arrival home. She does this in case she should need to extend her care due to travel delays. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, so caring for them comes very naturally to me. I have years of experience walking dogs in my neighborhood. I’d love the chance to get to know and care for your dogs too! When I was younger I volunteered with the Humane Society and also spent time fostering both dogs and cats whenever I could. Doing that has taught me a lot about caring for animals of all ages, and personalities. Senior dogs especially have my heart. My own dog lived to be 18 years old, so I understand the extra care, patience, and attention older dogs sometimes need. About: Growing up, I always had 4 pets at any time, and was in charge of all care for them! 2 dogs and 2 cats, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, litter, and lovings. I currently have 1 cat and 1 pup of my own. My most frequent client has 4 large dogs and 1 bunny, all of which get spoiled under my care. I have experience with the most common pet breeds: dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, and hamsters, Guinea pigs. I am entirely caring, responsible, assertive when needed, and prompt. I work full time Monday-Friday in downtown Augusta 8:30am-5:30pm. I’m currently not able to leave during the day for lunch time potty breaks unless it is very close to there. For home boarding and doggie day care, my boyfriend mainly works from home and loves sharing the love ! The app also doesn’t always quote the correct prices for me, so please message me if you have any questions :) For house sitting, I fully stay at your home and take care of your pet, as if I am at my own home. About: Hi! I’m a psychology major at Augusta University and currently work as an RBT supporting autistic children, which has made me patient, attentive, and very comfortable building trust through positive reinforcement. I’ve loved dogs my entire life, especially after owning and training my German Shepherd for 8 years, and I now have a puppy of my own who keeps me enjoying daily walks, park time, and training every day. (For boarding, she would stay with my family so your pet would have my full attention and a calm space.) I especially like working on basic positive reinforcement with treats or a clicker when wanted. I love petting and getting to know every dog I see, so any chance to spend time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy. I have open availability! Sometimes I may have an appointment or time commitment, but generally I am free throughout the week. I don’t have any scheduling or preference issues with overnight, extended, or evening hours either. I live in a townhome with a fenced patio. The patio has dirt/grass for going potty, a concrete center, and a backdoor that opens to a walking path. I have two floors with the bottom floor being hardwood (accident friendly!). For crate-preferred pets I have a 48in kennel (deep cleaned before and after use), or if crate-averse there is a guest bedroom that would be situated. I bring my own doggy bags and leash, but can use whatever is preferred. If desired I also have Buddy Trainers mini training treats that can be used for positively reinforcing your pet. My default approach is to focus primarily on your pet’s comfort rather than training, with the option of passive training being added into that approach. If boarding, I could take your pet on walks around the very dog-pro community where there are consistently opportunities to socialize, explore, and play in the paths available. Also with boarding my puppy would not share the space and would be at my family’s throughout your pet’s stay. Regardless of whether your pet is boarding at my home or if sitting at your’s, I have no problem deep (and properly) cleaning any accidents that come up. My approach with all pets, especially dogs, is positive reinforcement through doing things they enjoy. I try to set your pet up for success by matching their energy and minimizing any reason to feel anxious, sized up, or uncomfortable in general.

Please, I would love to meet your dog(s) with you there to get to know them first. Steve clearly takes pride in what he does, and it shows in the way he cares for the dogs entrusted to him. My heart was completely at ease the entire time, which says everything. Sully came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. From here on out, Steve will absolutely be our go-to pet sitter. We are so grateful for the exceptional care he provided. Highly recommend!”

“My dogs had a great time with Joshua! I got lots of photos and updates. You could see how happy they were in the pics. He took great care of my 5 month old puppy and administered her medicine. So I'd definitely recommend him for your puppies and older dogs. They got lots of playtime outside but they were also kept inside with people and other dogs so they were not left lonely. Socializing is very important to me as my dogs are inside dogs and used to being with people. It was a great experience for us and we will definitely book again.”
