“Our pup had such an amazing time with Julie and her family! From the moment we arrived, Chiko felt right at home and quickly became part of the family. He loved playing with their two doodles, Chase and Rusty, and even got to meet their goats, pigs, chickens, and play with their kiddos. Their fully fenced yard (many acres) was perfect for safe playtime and gave us extra peace of mind. Julie went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving him, especially since Chiko is deaf and uses a special collar. She took the time to learn how to communicate with him, which gave us such reassurance. We loved the adorable photo updates throughout his stay, and when we picked him up, he was one happy (and tired!) pup who fell right asleep as soon as we got home. We are so grateful to Julie and her family for the wonderful care they gave our pup, and we can’t wait for him to stay with them again. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve had my own animals and taken care of neighbors pets for as long as I can remember. I have lots of experience with cats/kittens & dogs! I have two dogs of my own and a main coon cat. About: I work from home and would love to host and care for your fur babies while you are at work or away on vacation. I have loved animals of all types my entire life. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. I currently have a volunteer position with the same organization as a microchip coordinator. While I was in high school and college I worked for two animal clinics in the Metro Atlanta area and volunteered with local animal shelters. My family pets over the past 22 years were 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mixes that all lived to be seniors. I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. I only take one client at a time. I do not have any pets of my own. Yours will have my undivided attention and care. I will update you with photos and status reports on a daily basis. Please understand that while we have experience with senior dogs and dogs with special needs, we are currently unable to book dogs that are experiencing incontinence (even with diapers) and night time pacing/spatial disorientation/sleeplessness that comes with senility. Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk. My home is clean and safe. I have a secure, fenced in yard with many areas to explore and space to run around. All gates are padlocked. I also stay outside with the dogs that are in my care. I leave a full bowl of water out 24 -7. I allow dogs to sleep in my bed if that is what they are accustomed to, I can also crate them if that is preferred. Your dog(s) will be safe and happy as guests in my home. I have a Red Cross Certification in Pet First Aid in the rare occasion there would be a need. I am also sensitive to dogs with thunder and firework fears, we have a comfy furnished basement space that mutes the bad sounds and we hang out there until everything calms down.

About: I’ve always had dogs at home, up to three at once! Most all raised and trained from puppy stages. I had a disabled dog recently who lost usage of her back legs and was incompetent. She required lots of help and being carried around but was a sweetheart. Currently I have eight geckos as well as two snakes, a skink, two cats (mostly outdoor) and one dog. My dogs name is Luna, she’s almost two years old, deaf and mentally special but as friendly as can be! (Several rooms for separation of my dog if needed as well as my crate. So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. I do not have a fence but I have a large pasture as well as lots of leads. I’m willing to walk for hours with your pet on a leash! I have one friendly pup to keep yours company and I have a spare room. I have the ability to crate my dog and space for a crate for yours if provided. We go out after every food and water break, get lots of cuddles and extra play time!

Now I have 2 dogs of my own who are basically my children, so I’ve learned a lot along the way from experience and doing my own research. I can teach basic commands, basic obedience and potty training. What you can expect from me is to treat your dogs as I would my own with the same level of care and affection. I have two dogs myself. They are what got me into a routine. I have experience planning my days around potty breaks, enough outdoor time, play time, and feedings. “Our pup had such an amazing time with Julie and her family! From the moment we arrived, Chiko felt right at home and quickly became part of the family. He loved playing with their two doodles, Chase and Rusty, and even got to meet their goats, pigs, chickens, and play with their kiddos. Their fully fenced yard (many acres) was perfect for safe playtime and gave us extra peace of mind. Julie went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving him, especially since Chiko is deaf and uses a special collar. She took the time to learn how to communicate with him, which gave us such reassurance. We loved the adorable photo updates throughout his stay, and when we picked him up, he was one happy (and tired!) pup who fell right asleep as soon as we got home. We are so grateful to Julie and her family for the wonderful care they gave our pup, and we can’t wait for him to stay with them again. Highly recommend!”
“Max had a great time at Pats place. Her place is very organized and she made sure Max was comfortable with meet and greets of the other dogs that would be with him during his stay. We were coming in from out of town and her communication always prompt and friendly. I highly recommend Pat and would use her again if ever back in that area.”

“Ryan was fantastic. I got pictures throughout my dogs stay with him. I could tell he was taken care of and he was happy in all the pictures. Did my heart good to see him so happy while we were gone. “DeAnne was amazing! I was leaving my Tibetan Terrior with a stranger for the first time, who suffers from some mild separation anxiety and had been crate abused - so he's a little special. But after meeting DeAnne and cooper, she was not a stranger. She was dog person who got it! Reggie had a wonderful time staying with her. She sent me multiple daily updates and pictures that made me feel so happy and comforted knowing my dog was being well cared for.
