My love and experience with dogs started at home—my dad was a dog trainer who worked with his own dogs as well as dogs belonging to friends and family. Growing up around that experience taught me how to understand canine behavior, respect each dog’s individual personality, and provide patient, attentive care. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, and I especially love being outdoors. Hiking, nature trails, and exploring the outdoors are some of my favorite things to do, so when appropriate, I love taking the dogs in my care along for an enjoyable walk or adventure. About: I dog sit for every dog shape or size has never been an issue here in our household. I love what I do, and I send photos as well to give clients more reassurance that their animals are being well treated and not abused. I love to foster dogs from Paws Humane Society as well to give them a home until they find their forever home. Every Pet gets one on one interaction, lots of snuggles, and lots of attention. I know how important it is to feel like at ease knowing your pet is in great hands. I currently have 3 fur babies myself. I am also a stay-at-home mom myself. my babies are everything they get treated like my own kids, they get lots of attention and some would even say I have them spoiled. I have a fenced in yard. I also have extra doggy crates; I do drop ins for vacations, or even if you just need help. I have pretty much free and short notice availability, thought I limit bookings on WEDNESDAYS and SUNDAYS as my days off. I have a whole zoo worth of pets and need to stop by my own house throughout the day, so any house sitting will be based on regular visits. I have reliable transportation and excellent driving skills in case of needing to transport. My vehicle has a crash tested seat belt and I have a few crash tested harnesses if you do not have one, though providing your own sized for your dog is preferred. I will not provide transport for animals other than cats or dogs and cats and small dogs must be tolerant of being crated for the ride. I am great at working with your schedule with at least 2 hours notice, but Rover does not allow easy schedule changes. If you need to reduce your visits, CANCEL the booking and REBOOK with your new dates, as once Rover confirms your booking it won’t let you reduce the current rate. In your home, I offer basic cleaning services and can ensure any messes get cleaned. I can meet many varied needs and am meticulous with following your house rules for your pets. I do not offer boarding or allow client pets at my home. I will not provide food or other consumables, though I will confirm what treats your pets can have because all good pets deserve treats. I provide basic behavior assistance such as teaching your dog that jumping on people is inappropriate, basic tricks (sit, down, paw), leash manners, but I DO NOT OFFER PAID TRAINING.
