“Our mini dachshund can be a challenge because he is older, and a bit of a loner. He isn’t around a lot of other animals and that can also make knowing how he will react a bit of a challenge. Thomas was really great. When we first arrived, Snicklefritz was very anxious and was a bit weary of me putting him down. Thomas was very patient with him and let Snick become more acquainted with him and with the yard. He sent me pictures throughout the stay to update me on how he was doing and what he was up to. Thomas made me feel much more relaxed and confident that Snicklefritz was doing well. We will certainly rebook in the future.”

About: I’ve lived in a multiple animal household my whole life. Now I have 3 pups of my own and 2 outdoor cats that come first. I work full-time but am available before 8 am, lunch break from 12-1, and after 5 pm through the week and all day during weekends I have a fenced in yard. Dogs are welcome to go in and out as they please, roam common areas, and take naps wherever, whenever.

About: My parents had dogs before I was born so I have never lived without dogs. I share my house now with my two dogs, and I am very lucky to work from home where I can be with them all day. In addition, I spent many years volunteering with a local shelter where I was a dog walker, an adoption counselor, a foster dog mom, and assisted with training classes. If you have a dog care need outside of what I have set as what I will accept, contact me because I may be able to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. My schedule revolves around my dogs. I have a secure, fenced-in yard and an enclosed porch, but they do spend most of their time indoors with me. When I am home, they go out every 3-4 hours, and if I am away, which is not often, I do not leave them for more than 8 hours. I am not scheduling for more than 3 months out, but if you have a specific date request beyond that, contact me and I can look at options. When I host your dog at my home, he or she will be treated like part of the family. I feed my dogs twice a day, and they go out every 3-4 hours when I am not home, or more often if needed. On sunny days, my dogs also enjoy laying on my enclosed porch where I have a few dog beds set up for them. The feeding and potty schedule for your dog is up to you, so please communicate that with me if it would be different from my own dogs. On the rare occasions where I need to leave for doctor appointments or family events, I would crate your dog, or alternately, secure your dog in a small room using a baby gate if you dog cannot tolerate crating. I have two bad shoulders, and therefore I do not walk dogs, but your dog would get plenty of play time with my dogs in my house and in my yard. While I try to not have dogs on the furniture, it doesn't always work out that way, but I do have multiple dog beds in every room of my home. I also have designated areas of the couch where my dogs are allowed. I would require you to bring a leash and your dog's food when you drop him or her off. In terms of in-home visits to care for your dog, I will be sure to let them out, feed them, make sure they have water, administer medications as required, and spend about 15 minutes with them in snuggles or playtime. As mentioned above, I have two bad shoulders so I am not able to walk your dog.

“Destiny cat sat our cat while we were out of town for 10 days. She came over daily to feed our cat, play with her, and keep her company. She left our home spotless and even washed the cat bowl and swept up the cat litter that our cat kicks out of her litter box before our return. She also send us videos and pictures regularly so our minds were put to ease that our cat was taken care of back home. About: I have cared for kittens as small as a few weeks old, as well as cats older than a decade, and I have connected with strays other people thought could never be socialized. My cat is wild and silly like any other, but he also suffers from anxiety and a heart condition, so I am especially empathetic to cats like him, and I have experience giving medication and patiently forming connections.
About: Hi, Jennifer here. 😀 I can't say that I've done much cat sitting, but I have owned cats all of my life. I currently own a Maine Coon mix that I rescued from a feral litter at about 5 weeks of age. He has special needs of his own, a stress disorder called FIC (Feline Idiopathic Cystitis) which causes his bladder to shred when he gets stressed. He is on a prescription stress/urinary diet and we have to make sure to do things that help prevent him from becoming stressed. All of the cats I have owned in my adult lifetime have been indoor only. With that being said, I'm extremely comfortable with litter box care! I'm also familiar with cat hairballs, and have no issues with cleaning those up. I have had cats with tendencies to get urinary tract infections and I understand what to look for and how to manage medications with that issue. I am comfortable with cat care and would love to spend time with your kitties!

About: I’ve been a dog lover since I was a young child! Even when I was barely four feet tall, I delighted in taking care of, feeding, walking, and of course playing with our pups! And now as an adult, I have 2 rescue dogs that I have trained up and loved on (one a senior dog and one a puppy). Caring for dogs truly gives me joy and allows me to pour into others and give back. We don’t deserve dogs, but I sure am grateful we get to share our lives with them! I work full time from home and have complete flexibility with my work schedule. The outdoor space has ample amount of grass with plenty of squirrels to chase.

About: I have been a vet technician for over 10 years now and currently in school to become a registered vet technician. I’m able to monitor your pet especially if having conditions such as diabetes and/or have chronic conditions. I love the furry babies and love what I do! I own a two Boston terriers and have a family of my own that is my world! I can guarantee you that your pet will be taken care of with ER experience so I would know the signs for sure if your baby needed medical help. My dogs are SPOILED especially my bostons. We go on daily walks, I do not crate them but when I have pets that I do sit, I would separate them safety wise. We have experience with indoor bunnies, guinea pigs, geckos, hedgehogs, ferrets, bearded dragons, and snakes, just to name a few examples of animals we could bring home with us. In your home, we would request a detailed outline of what you would need done and how you'd like us to do it. We respect people and their property, so we would only go into the common areas of your home, and any areas you've requested service in.
About: I have been rescuing since childhood. I have raised a little bit everything from dogs to reptiles to raccoons and have enjoyed them all. I now have 4 dogs and 10 acres of land with a creek and lake. I have experience to care for senior dogs as well as puppies. I can administer meds if needed. I look forward to meeting you and your pets, giving them amazing care and you peace of mind knowing they are well cared for. I am retired, so critters get all the love they want and need. I spend my extra time in my art studio that is housed in the building with my kennels. I have 3 large 5 x 10 kennels in a large private room that is heated and cooled. I have crates, 60 x 80 fenced in play area and of course the house and shop. Our critters are never left unsupervised. We also have a doggie cam to check on them at night. It is a posh vacation for all critters who visit us.
About: I can’t remember a time in my life I haven’t had at least 4 or 5 dogs around me. My family calls me a dog whisperer. Me and dogs just.. understand each other… I think they read the “grandparent” energy I have for them! Every dog loves me because I take care of them and listen to them. About: My parents had dogs before I was born so I have never lived without dogs. I share my house now with my two dogs, and I am very lucky to work from home where I can be with them all day. In addition, I spent many years volunteering with a local shelter where I was a dog walker, an adoption counselor, a foster dog mom, and assisted with training classes. If you have a dog care need outside of what I have set as what I will accept, contact me because I may be able to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. My schedule revolves around my dogs. I have a secure, fenced-in yard and an enclosed porch, but they do spend most of their time indoors with me. When I am home, they go out every 3-4 hours, and if I am away, which is not often, I do not leave them for more than 8 hours. I am not scheduling for more than 3 months out, but if you have a specific date request beyond that, contact me and I can look at options. When I host your dog at my home, he or she will be treated like part of the family. I feed my dogs twice a day, and they go out every 3-4 hours when I am not home, or more often if needed. On sunny days, my dogs also enjoy laying on my enclosed porch where I have a few dog beds set up for them. The feeding and potty schedule for your dog is up to you, so please communicate that with me if it would be different from my own dogs. On the rare occasions where I need to leave for doctor appointments or family events, I would crate your dog, or alternately, secure your dog in a small room using a baby gate if you dog cannot tolerate crating. I have two bad shoulders, and therefore I do not walk dogs, but your dog would get plenty of play time with my dogs in my house and in my yard. While I try to not have dogs on the furniture, it doesn't always work out that way, but I do have multiple dog beds in every room of my home. I also have designated areas of the couch where my dogs are allowed. I would require you to bring a leash and your dog's food when you drop him or her off. In terms of in-home visits to care for your dog, I will be sure to let them out, feed them, make sure they have water, administer medications as required, and spend about 15 minutes with them in snuggles or playtime. As mentioned above, I have two bad shoulders so I am not able to walk your dog.
