“Where do I start? The beginning… Josi and Ricky were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC and AMAZING with my Ellie. We had a meet and greet 2 weeks before my family’s big trip to NYC for a big family event. The stars aligned and Mother Nature decided to give us a gift of snow & ice on the day that our flight was to leave. Josi was incredibly flexible with our drop off time. In our mad rush out of the door I forgot Ellie’s home-cooked meals (Ellie has allergies) in our refrigerator and I couldn’t turn back because of the snow. Josi cooked for my baby! She and her family sacrificed so much to care for and comfort my anxious 5lb Ellie. Fast forward to the day of pickup. My family’s flight was significantly delayed and we weren’t going to land back in the state until 11:30, Josi was sooo accommodating and allowed me to pick her up the next morning. My foster experience has helped me develop a knack for making pets feel at home. Safety is my top priority. I do have three labs of my own, who are absolutely spoiled rotten and love to play. I work from home, so animals who are boarded at my home can be let out throughout the day. For house sitting, I am available with the exception of 730-430 Monday thru Friday. I have a privacy fenced in yard, with additional crates as needed. I prefer to crate dogs at night or when running errands since unfamiliar environments can be stressing. I only use the crate as a positive non-punishment strategy. I’ve found over the years, pets in a short-term situation take comfort in having a space of their own. When gone I ensure that there are several barriers between pets so that they are safe. I am a public school teacher, I am able to provide care before and after work but more importantly on school breaks. Your fur baby will be cared for just as well as you would care for them while you’re enjoying your vacation. I have extra crates available for guest pets, which are cleaned after each guest. About: Since I was about 5 or 6 I have always had a dog and each day I cherished and loved them deeply. I would do the same for the dog my cousins had. Everyday when I would get off work I would go by just to see her dog. We played for hours and I treated her as if she was my own. There are some dogs that can be challenging just cause they don't know who you are and every dog has to trust you and they have to feel safe with you. I plan to do that with each dog I met. They deserve to be treated how any human being would want to be treated. Dogs are, hands down the best. I love dogs! Usually I’ll work from 6:30am-3:30pm on Monday-Friday. But I am very flexible. If you let me know on advance that you need care for your baby/babies I am more then willing to accommodate for you. Before work I always let them out and let them eat. My wife comes back home and will let them back out. I do come home most time for breaks to let them out and play. If I am not able then my wife will be there on her breaks and will allow the them to go outside. I’ll do playtime outside, but if it’s too hot then playtime will be inside. Plenty of space in the living room to run around. We have multiple things to do around whether inside or outside. Most times we will go done to the trial and play around out there. We provide each dog, or dog family a private room for their stay. Your dogs, guest dogs and my dogs do not mingle. We do this for several reasons, but the primary reason is the health and safety of your dog. Have you heard about the new strains of vaccine resistant Kennel cough? Have you seen the injuries that can occur at the dog park when they are just playing? Some dogs just don't care for the doggie mosh pit. Our private rooms are easy to clean and disinfect in between guests. You can bring fido’s favorite bed, blanket or kennel, but we have several vinyl wrapped, easy clean crib mattresses W/ quilted covers and sheets to fit mattress. Due to our cleaning standards, to bring as little as possible is our goal for the dog moms and dads. We also have plenty of bowls, most are stainless steel and washed in a dishwasher daily. She updates me regularly and ASAP if her schedule changes so that I can make other arrangements if needed. Once I requested to board my baby overnight and not only did she respond immediately, she was patient, accommodating, and kind. About: I've had animals since I was a baby. Right now I have 4 dogs, 2 cats, 1 bunny, 1 guinea pig, & 3 horses. I worked at a vet clinic from 2018 to 2019. I was a kennel tech. I cleaned kennels, fed dogs & cats, walked dogs, gave meds as needed, & gave baths. I also have a shitzu, corgi mix that has long hair & I groom her when needed. I'm not a professional groomer by any means, but if your dog needs a trim or cut this summer, I can definitely do it! I can handle puppies, small dogs, medium dogs, large dogs, anything you can imagine. I'm very patient with shy dogs & cats as well. I've always loved animals ever since I was a little girl. I would love to be able to pet sit any animal you have! I think you will be very satisfied! As of right now, I am home full time. I am available all during the week. Some weekends I can be busy, but I can always fit walking, feeding, & check ins into my schedule. I'm very reliable & trustworthy. I have a fenced in back yard for playing & walking. I have 4 dogs & 2 cats that are inside. I have 1 dog that can be a little moody. She can be a little skeptical to new things so she will be crated when new fur babies stay with me. About: Since I was about 5 or 6 I have always had a dog and each day I cherished and loved them deeply. I would do the same for the dog my cousins had. Everyday when I would get off work I would go by just to see her dog. We played for hours and I treated her as if she was my own. There are some dogs that can be challenging just cause they don't know who you are and every dog has to trust you and they have to feel safe with you. I plan to do that with each dog I met. They deserve to be treated how any human being would want to be treated. Dogs are, hands down the best. I love dogs! Usually I’ll work from 6:30am-3:30pm on Monday-Friday. But I am very flexible. If you let me know on advance that you need care for your baby/babies I am more then willing to accommodate for you. Before work I always let them out and let them eat. My wife comes back home and will let them back out. I do come home most time for breaks to let them out and play. If I am not able then my wife will be there on her breaks and will allow the them to go outside. I’ll do playtime outside, but if it’s too hot then playtime will be inside. Plenty of space in the living room to run around. We have multiple things to do around whether inside or outside. Most times we will go done to the trial and play around out there. About: Many Rover's offer an in-home experience where your pets, and other peoples pets and the rover's pets just all hang out and rough house all day. That is not our style. We provide each dog, or dog family a private room for their stay. Your dogs, guest dogs and my dogs do not mingle. We do this for several reasons, but the primary reason is the health and safety of your dog. Have you heard about the new strains of vaccine resistant Kennel cough? Have you seen the injuries that can occur at the dog park when they are just playing? Some dogs just don't care for the doggie mosh pit. Our private rooms are easy to clean and disinfect in between guests. You can bring fido’s favorite bed, blanket or kennel, but we have several vinyl wrapped, easy clean crib mattresses W/ quilted covers and sheets to fit mattress. Due to our cleaning standards, to bring as little as possible is our goal for the dog moms and dads. We also have plenty of bowls, most are stainless steel and washed in a dishwasher daily. I tried being a landlord to pepole, it was a job I did not care for. To protect my tender heart from people that need a place to stay, I have turned 2 rooms into dog hotel rooms. I currently work as a dairy manager and live on the property so I’m pretty much working in my backyard, which allows me to be very hands-on with animals on the property but also gives me the schedule flexibility to come to you! About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 I loved it it’s a passion for me communicating to them is what I love the most Our daily routine consists of 6am wake up and morning potty. After potty we eat breakfast if fur baby schedule mirrors. After breakfast we have playtime with friends, such as ball, fetch and water sports if weather permits. After morning play which is about 11:30am-12n, another potty break. About 12:15-12:30 we go down for nap and wake up about 3pm. After naps there’s afternoon potty and playtime with individual one on one time. After afternoon play we have dinner and potty. Bedtime is normally between 8:00pm-8:30pm. I have a big gated fence we also leash fur babies when going on potty walks i also keep females and males separate in this act as well as size of breed separated.
