About: I am a true animal lover, having had many different animals over the years, ranging from one of the smallest dog breeds, a Chihuahua (16 years) to one of the largest, a blind in one eye, completely deaf Great Dane (7 years). Both have since passed away, and I now enjoy my two Boxers, 11 yr old female, Daisy and my newest addition, a 3 month old male, Rocco. Knowing first hand the worries that go with boarding your animal, and the stresses they feel. About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 10 years old and have always considered animals part of the family. I currently have two 8-year-old cats, and until recently I also had two dogs, including a 12-year-old German Shepherd/Malamute mix who sadly passed away from heart failure this year and a Pit Bull who passed away the year before. Caring for pets throughout their different stages of life has taught me how important patience, attention, and love are. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, giving pets attention and companionship, and keeping their normal routines while their families are away. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so I’ll treat them with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, so I have a flexible schedule and am home most of the day. My only regular commitments are school drop-off and pickup. This allows me plenty of time for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day. I live in a quiet apartment community with a small dog park that I can use for appropriate dogs. I have two friendly 8-year-old cats who are comfortable around people and pets. About: I have enjoyed caring for fur babies for many years, from Pomeranians to a kennel full of Irish wolfhounds for a show handler. I take up to 2 dogs for daycare or overnight care in my home. For dog walking only, I prefer evenings in the summer months, 5-9:30pm. I have the summer months completely open for doggy daycare. I prefer only 2 dogs at a time inside my home. Please contact me with any questions on scheduling or baths (please provide preferred shampoo). For needed dog walking, I prefer evenings as the heat can be hard on pups, 5-9pm. In my home I have a 5 year old husky who has been raised around cats and puppies. He is good at helping correct puppies. He has had one litter of his own pups. About: I’m the type of person that if I see someone handing out free puppies or if I see a lost dog, I’ll be taking them home. I’ve always had such empathy for animals, that on multiple occasions I have done this. For example, last year there was a man handing out free puppies outside of a petco. Recently helped my friend while she and her family were out of town by looking after ducks, chickens, a pig, pigeons, horses, and let her dogs out.
