About: I have had dogs since 2013. I had three, I currently have two. One of them had epilepsy, this gave me experience with seizures and administering medicine. I also worked at a doggy day care for 1 year, there I cared for large groups of dogs. We fed them, changed out water 4-5 times a day, picked up after them and played with them. I’m currently working full time M-F second shift at my job so I am available most mornings and I’m available during the weekend if needed I do live in apartment complex, but it does have a cute little play area for dogs for them to play and use the restroom if needed

About: I’ve cared for pets for friends, family, and colleagues, including feeding, walking, administering basic medications, and maintaining consistent routines. My background in ecology and animal biology means I’m especially attentive to behavior, stress signals, and overall health. I’m comfortable with all breeds of dogs, cats, horses, and other farm animals. I am a teacher who is currently available for the summer. This means I will have wide open availability to do in home pet sitting or frequent walking/taking out. I currently reside in an apartment in a safe neighborhood. Dogs love to go for walks around the neighborhood or nearby parks. There is no availability for them to ever be alone outside.

“To tell you that Rachel and her husband were absolutely wonderful with our fur baby Hank, would not do them justice. She kept me up to date with pictures and videos throughout the day to let me know what Hank was up to and show me how much fun he was having at their house. They made sure to follow his feeding schedule, brushed him, ran him, and cuddled him all weekend. Their two pups are so friendly and welcomed my guy into their pack instantly. I knew he was in good hands with Rachel and her family. I didn’t have to worry about him while my husband and I were out of town, so we were able to enjoy our anniversary trip while he was on a little vacation of his own! “I needed a sitter last minute and my regular sitter was out of town. Janai was very accommodating at sitting up a meet and greet and took the time to introduce Mickey to all of her dogs one by one. Mickey is VERY skittish and scared of new people but meeting her dogs helped him relax some. I was nervous leaving him with a new sitter but Janai was very good at communicating and sending me pictures. She also added on bathing and nail trim to his services with my permission, so he was fresh and clean when I picked him up. Will definitely bring him back in the future!”
