“Our pup had such an amazing time with Julie and her family! From the moment we arrived, Chiko felt right at home and quickly became part of the family. He loved playing with their two doodles, Chase and Rusty, and even got to meet their goats, pigs, chickens, and play with their kiddos. Their fully fenced yard (many acres) was perfect for safe playtime and gave us extra peace of mind. Julie went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving him, especially since Chiko is deaf and uses a special collar. She took the time to learn how to communicate with him, which gave us such reassurance. We loved the adorable photo updates throughout his stay, and when we picked him up, he was one happy (and tired!) pup who fell right asleep as soon as we got home. We are so grateful to Julie and her family for the wonderful care they gave our pup, and we can’t wait for him to stay with them again. Highly recommend!”

About: I have taken care of dogs for the past 10 years. My parents were Great Dane breeders and I have experience raising puppies from birth-seniority. I used to groom dogs as a part time job and would love to groom yours free of charge while sitting for you! I am also experienced in training dogs basic commands as well as a few tricks and could probably have your furry baby doing a new trick in less than 2 hours. I'd love to help you with your lovable best friend, day or night!❤️ I currently work part time and have plenty of free time to give your furry friend that special TLC they love! I always come prepared with treats and toys as well. I usually arrive at the client's house, let the pet introduce themselves to me naturally (no threatening behavior, no forced petting, no loud or excited talking, just let them get to know me!) and then hang out in their space for a bit, offering treats if allowed, letting them get used to me, then going on with the routine of feeding, walking, etc, if I'm allowed to groom them, once they're used to my presence, I'll begin that, making sure to stop immediately if they seem upset or threatened! I always end our day together with some treats/food and spending some time with them!
About: I've personally owned cats since I was little, that being the first animal I took care of at 6years old with a hamster and parakeets and a ferret. Cat behavior differs from dogs and you must understand they are one of a kind to each cats behavior is never the same. Some need more attention than others and some want all the space they can get but enjoy their food. Countless kitten claw scratches approved. Keeping litter boxes clean is highly necessary as it is their bathroom and no one likes a stinky toilet. I currently own a Japanese tortoiseshell bobtail female cat who has already had a liter of kittens. I have raised and found homes for. She required lots of help and being carried around but was a sweetheart. Currently I have eight geckos as well as two snakes, a skink, two cats (mostly outdoor) and one dog. My dogs name is Luna, she’s almost two years old, deaf and mentally special but as friendly as can be! (Several rooms for separation of my dog if needed as well as my crate. So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. I do not have a fence but I have a large pasture as well as lots of leads. I’m willing to walk for hours with your pet on a leash! I have one friendly pup to keep yours company and I have a spare room. I have the ability to crate my dog and space for a crate for yours if provided. We go out after every food and water break, get lots of cuddles and extra play time!

About: Stephanie "Stevie" is experienced with managing the special needs of high-anxiety and/or reactive dogs. She has rescued and rehabilitated 3 dogs of her own, and 6 cats. She is an active volunteer at the local animal shelter, helping with adoption events and enrichment activities. Stevie has been a pet-sitter since she was 12 years old. She started with plants and birds, and now 20 years later, can work with any animal, including ones that require bottle feedings, complex medication schedules, or homestays up to 2 weeks. Farm animals too! Chickens, ducks, and goats! She was a camp counselor for 3 summers and also conducted a work exchange at a homestead farm for 1 summer. There was never a dull moment being surrounded by all types of animals in my care. I currently own 3 dogs now but have owned up to 5 dogs at one time and cats in the past. She is my couch potato but my absolute world, she is fragile and living out the last years of her life being the wonderful potato she is. I have experience in birthing two dog liters and 1 cat liter. Experienced in what is needed before and after birth. Extra care if needed. I have worked along the side of a professional dog trainer as well as helped run a boarding and training facility up to 30 dogs, being one out of two kennel techs. About: I have cared for many dogs, including mine and others. I have experience with dog sitting 10 lbs puppies all the way to caring for large Great Danes. I am recently a new cat owner and have watched over cats for several years for others. I am a collegiate athlete, but I just got into my off-season. I would love to do drop-in visits while I am on break from school. I also have a lot of experience with extended pet care while owners are on vacation. About: I've lived with and cared for animals ever since I was old enough to walk and talk, mostly dogs. In recent years I've gained some training experience from having trained my own three dogs, one of which I had for over 18 years. He loved playing with their two doodles, Chase and Rusty, and even got to meet their goats, pigs, chickens, and play with their kiddos. Their fully fenced yard (many acres) was perfect for safe playtime and gave us extra peace of mind. Julie went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving him, especially since Chiko is deaf and uses a special collar. She took the time to learn how to communicate with him, which gave us such reassurance. We loved the adorable photo updates throughout his stay, and when we picked him up, he was one happy (and tired!) pup who fell right asleep as soon as we got home. We are so grateful to Julie and her family for the wonderful care they gave our pup, and we can’t wait for him to stay with them again. Highly recommend!”
