Highly-rated overnight sitters - Ivey
“Rudy has serious separation anxiety, but did well at Kim’s. It took a few days to warm up, but he finally started running/playing with other dogs. Kim sent us videos & pics while we were gone, which I really appreciate!”

“The entire experience with Bryan was fantastic! Definitely exceeded our expectations! This was our first time leaving our 5 month old puppy, so naturally we were a bit apprehensive. Bryan was extremely responsive, very professional, and very patient in answering all of our questions and concerns. We had a meet and greet prior to boarding so that we could see his set up, and it was immediately clear that Bryan knows dogs! Not only how to care for them, but how to make sure they are happy and well balanced! His home is perfectly suited to care for lots of dogs, and a home environment felt so much nicer than the commercial boarding centers that we visited. Our puppy thoroughly enjoyed her stay, and came home happy and tired! Bryan remained fantastic to deal with throughout the whole transaction! We will certainly be using Bryan's services again. Highly recommend!”

“I Just want to say that Kyrie is amazing and I knew right from the dropping off of Ziggy ( my fur baby) he was going to be great. Very polite patient and willing to answer any questions you may have and vice versus, he ask questions about your pet. I will be using him again.”

“Ray was fantastic! He has a beautiful big yard for the dogs to play and a cozy and warm house. He sent us frequent updates and pictures. I could tell he was taking care of our dog. I can´t be happier and grateful with his services.”

“This was my first experience using Kathy. My dog did very well and was given great care and attention. She texted me with daily updates, pictures, and text messages. I will certainly consider Kathy again in the future.”

“Dana and Brandon were great. Clean and welcoming environment. Kinda felt like dropping our fur-kid off at a friends house for the weekend. They stayed in touch with us and sent updates and pics. We will definitely be calling on them in the future and recommending them to our friends.”

“Ladonna did a great job communicating with us while we left our pup with her. She was very responsive, sent us regular updates and adorable pictures, and even sent us home with a sweet picture magnet of our dog, Chanel. You can tell she truly loves what she does. Chanel looked happy, relaxed, and well cared for in every photo, and that peace of mind was priceless. It felt like she treated our pup like her own. We will absolutely be booking with Ladonna again! Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving, reliable, and thoughtful sitter. 5-Stars without hesitation!!”

“This was great service provided by a great person. Ashley was very responsive and kept me up to date with what was going on with Bo while I was away. This was much better than a typical boarding place where I feel you just drop them off and they are left in a cage and fed until you pick them up. She sent me pictures of him out playing and walking and asked questions about his schedule. Allowed me to enjoy my vacation because I was not worried about my dog. Highly recommend and will be using her for my future boarding needs.”

“I must say I do get nervous when Luna’s going to someone for the first time because she hasn’t met them before, but it seems that she did a great job. The sitter was very friendly, professional, and communicated very well and sent pictures which I love that. I’m glad that she also had someone to play with. I will definitely be using this Sitter again I highly recommend.”

About: I have 2 dogs that are very active in dog sports. I also volunteer with a rescue organization to evaluate, foster, transport and re-home dogs. Morning and afternoon play or training sessions based on each dog's individual requirements. I do work during the week but am able to check in on dogs mid-day as needed. Room to run and explore. Lake is available for all those water dogs to go swimming. Dog's will be kept separate from resident dogs until properly introduced.
About: I have volunteered at an animal rescue around a year. I was responsible for fixing them food, water, cleaning their crate and playing with them. I also had a family dog growing up and currently have three cats. I work from home full-time and get multiple breaks throughout the day, so I am always available at home. I am a homebody and have the time to care for animals. I have a fenced in back yard with a grassy area. Pets sitting on the furniture and being around is no issue. I do have three cats, but I am able to keep them separate at all times.
“Jodie and Dustin helped Jersey feel right at home. She was given many snuggles and they treated her like their own dog. I knew she was being well taken care of, and Jodie sent me some adorable pictures of her in her home away from home. You can tell they love animals and are both very nurturing people. This was a great experience and I would definitely take Jersey back to Jodie's.”
About: I've been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a home with pets and have spent my life feeding, walking, playing with, and caring for animals of all ages. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and deserves patience, love, and attention. Whether your pet needs exercise, playtime, cuddles, medication reminders, or just someone to keep them company, I'll care for them as if they were my own. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust, and my goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable and happy while you're away. I currently offer pet care Friday through Sunday. During the weekends, I'm able to provide attentive care, including walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of love and companionship. I only accept bookings when I know I can give each pet the time and attention they deserve, so your furry family member will receive quality care while you're away. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a securely fenced yard and a fenced outdoor patio where dogs can safely enjoy fresh air and play under supervision. Pets are never left unattended outside. Inside, they are treated like family with plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I can follow your pet's normal routine, administer medications if needed, and accommodate crate-trained dogs if that is part of their routine. I also have two friendly Yorkshire Terriers who enjoy meeting other dogs, but I always introduce pets carefully to ensure everyone is comfortable.

I have a fenced yard and one dog that is super friendly that will help keep your baby company. I can also crate them as needed.

“Brandi is a Godsend I was so nervous the first time I boarded my Dog Bear with her because he wasn’t use to being around other Dogs and is very shy around people. But everything went well and now he’s like part of their family.”

I can administer oral, topical, and injection medicine. I believe in catering to each animal's personality & temperament.
About: I've worked a family farm since I was 8 years old. I have experience with all sorts of critters. Oh and I ain't scared of spiders or snakes if that suits your fancy! I appreciate the trust to allow me to take care of your babies. Let alone let me in your house! Again thank you so much for the opportunity.

“Paw-some job as always! James has been my go to dog/house sitter for years even before becoming a registered sitter on rover. He really takes care of things as if they are his own, if not better! This time he came to feed our 4 dogs while we were out of town. He couldn’t find where the water dish was for our back yard so he filled one up just in case. I appreciate James so much and hope more people come to know him as the dependable person he is.”

“Bryan was very thorough in Rosie's interview. He took time to really know Rosie and have been super accommodating with my crazy unpredictable schedule. I'm looking forward to continuing with his services.”

“Kyle is an amazing dog sitter. I love how attentive he is with my puppy, especially while she was sick. He’s very good about sending me updates and photos/videos throughout the day. She’s always so excited when she sees him and that makes me feel comfortable with leaving her with him.”

“Nicole was amazing :) she let our puppies run around in her fenced backyard so by the time we picked them up, they were tired and went straight to sleep :) She responds fast and let’s gou know how the pups are doing”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ray was truly a Godsend. He was able to fit my baby girl in at the very last minute so I could attend a friend of the family’s funeral, and I am beyond grateful. He kept me updated throughout the day with plenty of pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. All of the dogs were around the same size and played very well together, and Ray did an excellent job keeping me informed about her potty breaks as well as her food and water. It was clear she was well cared for, safe, and happy. She came home tired (in the best way!), and I’m so thankful knowing she’ll sleep well tonight. We’re here for the holidays visiting from Dallas, and we will absolutely be booking with Ray again whenever we’re in town. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter during such an important and emotional time. I highly recommend Ray.”

About: Hi, I’m Ashley Hertlen — a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience in pet care and dog training. My journey started early, volunteering at the Humane Society during my teenage years. Over the years, I’ve also worked at a boarding facility, caring for pets of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. About: I've worked in animal care for several years, starting at a dog boarding and daycare facility where I spent six years. I began as a kennel technician and worked my way up to general manager, gaining extensive experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, behaviors, and medical needs. I'm currently pursuing a long-term goal of becoming a veterinary technician. In my free time, I foster animals for a local rescue that I'm passionate about. I take pride in using fear-free handling techniques, understanding animal body language, working through behavioral challenges, and providing compassionate care for medically compromised pets. While I'm relatively new to Rover, I've been caring for pets in my home for years. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving their owners peace of mind. I'll treat your pets like they're my own and will keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay. I work full-time as a veterinary assistant at a local animal hospital. I have at least two days off each week and work a half day on Wednesdays. While I am away during part of the day, I come home every day during my hour lunch break to let your baby out for a potty break, playtime, and some extra love and attention. In the evenings, I enjoy taking dogs for walks (weather permitting) and spending quality time with them. When I have pets in my care, I plan my schedule around their needs. I avoid making additional plans so I can provide plenty of one-on-one attention, playtime, cuddles, and consistency with their normal routine. I do provide care in your home, with the same schedule/availability. Such as; going to your home on my break to care for the pet(s), only sitting for one family at a time, walks, etc. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable, loved, and at home as possible while you're away. I have a fully fenced backyard. I also have a pool that is currently being fenced for added safety. My philosophy is simple: pets are never left unattended outside. If your pet is crate-trained or simply feels more comfortable in a crate, I have plenty of space to set one up for daytime or overnight use. I only care for one client's pet(s) at a time to provide the safest environment and plenty of one-on-one attention. I have a designated "dog cabinet" stocked with essentials like pill pockets, peanut butter, and ability to keep any medications your pet may need during their stay. If your pet rides in my vehicle, I use a pet seat belt to help keep them secure during travel. I ask that owners provide a properly fitted harness or collar and leash. If you're unable to do so, I have extras available (with your permission) to safely transfer your pet to and from my home and for walks. I do my best to maintain your pet's normal feeding schedule, so I appreciate detailed instructions regarding meals, treats, and any special preferences. I also always ask about food sensitivities, allergies, or other dietary needs to ensure your pet stays happy and healthy. These apply to in your home as well.
About: I've worked in dog daycares for a total of 4 years and have trained dogs for 3 years. I love working with puppies in basic obedience training and older dogs for more advanced training. I've interacted with all breeds of dogs and cats and have administered medications like insulin, anxiety medications, and your basic flea and tick prevention. I am a teacher and am lucky enough to get summers off. This leaves me with the flexibility to help others during the busiest months of the year! I have 3 dogs of my own who are well socialized. Any pets in my care, in my home, will need a meet and greet before providing services to ensure the safety of everyone. There will be constant supervision and at least 3 walks a day. I also have a pool that we can use if your pet enjoys the water, which is fantastic in these summer months! During meals, my pets will be separated from yours, if needed, but have the option to eat together. In client homes, I am always respectful and professional. We will discuss all concerns prior to the service and I am always willing to make changes to best suit your needs.

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Ivey
About: I've always had at least one dog at any given time, and up to 4 at the most. I know what a fur baby needs, whether it's petting and naps to repetitive frisbee or tennis ball play! I enjoy the love each doggie brings. I know how hard it is to be at work or out of town and wonder if they are being adored in the same capacity as I would want to show. I can help alleviate the stress of being bored and alone all day, so YOU get all the best parts of your loving pup at the end of your long day. If they need snuggles, you've got the right girl! If they need a brisk hike or a run, let's give them what they deserve! Cats, birds, snakes, lizards and fish are all cared for in my presence
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and in addition to being a dog owner, I’ve volunteered with several dog rescue organizations as a foster and caretaker. I’m self employed and work from home with a very flexible work schedule. I’m easy going and adaptable to last minute plans and changes in schedules. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes and temperaments. About: I've owned & taken care of animals from all walks of life. I currently have a 16 year old Blue Heeler, Calvin, & my newest best friend, a 6 month old Dalmatian puppy, Ivy. I also have 2 five year old cats, Escargot & Fugu. I'm experienced in fostering and rescue and I've raised several animals from puppies and kittens, but I have an extra soft spot for seniors. Ivy has been trained by Serenity k9 here in Macon and I am very well versed in prong collar & E-Collar training. I'm super active (walking/running a minimum of 2 miles a day), have a Subaru for transportation, and both of my dogs are trained and friendly. I work full time, but I work 4 days on, 3 days off. I go for regular walks and can work out a schedule for mid -day potty breaks if necessary on a working day. I prefer in-home visits for your animals. I can come up to 3 times a day (more if needed), go on regular, short or long walks, and spend plenty of time with your animals. I believe in scooping litter boxes EVERY day. I have a Dalmatian puppy that enjoys all other animals if your dog would like company on an outing. I can administer medication orally, topically, or through injections. I'm well versed in senior and puppy care and capable of lifting 50+ lbs. My dogs are professionally trained by a certified trainer and I know how to use most types of collars (E-Collar, prong, etc) properly. I can bathe your dog or deliver them to a groomer of your choice. I have my own car & extra crates and carriers if necessary. For boarding, I have a fenced in yard & 2 dogs of my own, both fully trained, vaccinated, & friendly with other trained dogs. I have secluded rooms (with sound machines & a/c) for crating dogs while at work.

I am currently working from home so I have plenty of time to come and care for your furry babies. I am also able to walk them as needed. I have a fenced yard and one dog that is super friendly that will help keep your baby company. I can also crate them as needed.
“Randi was awesome!! She kept my pup for 6 days and when I picked him up he had been bathed and groomed. Communication was easy. She went above and beyond and made me feel comfortable while I was away. 10/10 would recommend”

“Brandi is a Godsend I was so nervous the first time I boarded my Dog Bear with her because he wasn’t use to being around other Dogs and is very shy around people. But everything went well and now he’s like part of their family.”

“Thank you for accepting my short notice request. This was my first time using Rover and you made this so easy. Seeing the pictures of Dove and your pets, her cuddle time made me so happy. She seemed like she made herself at home ?. We will be back. Thanks again you are amazing.”

“Arnelia was great with my dogs! She sent many photos and videos, and she ensured they were comfortable playing with the other dogs in the home before allowing them to run around together. We also had a meet-and-greet prior to their stay, which was helpful to ensure it would be a good fit. She has a wonderful fenced yard for the dogs to run in that she keeps well maintained. Arnelia provides training and grooming during their stay and was able to quickly pick up on their training needs. The dogs seemed very happy while they were there. I look forward to working with Arnelia again!”

About: Hi, I’m Peyton! I’m a responsible and dependable pet sitter with experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. As a college student-athlete, I’m organized, active, and committed to providing pets with the attention, exercise, and care they need while their owners are away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or overnight care, I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I am currently unemployed, so pet care is fully possible for me! I am very flexible with whatever you need me to do for you! I have a fenced yard, and if I am not letting dogs out into fence yard, I use the leashes to keep them very safe
“Sean took our cat in for a last minute booking. My cat is high anxiety, especially with new people. Sean provided exceptional care & made sure to send lots of pictures of him getting tons of love. This provider is very accommodating and I cannot recommend enough!”
