About: Here's a shorter version: --- I've had dogs my whole life and currently share mine with a Golden Retriever and a Chihuahua mix — so I'm just as comfortable with big, energetic breeds as I am with small, spunky ones. About: Hello! I was proud owner of an adorable greyhound named Dixie who was a retired racer. I also just had to put down our 11 year old Golden Retriever Lab mix dog. We used to go for walks and play in our backyard. Sine greyhound have horrible teeth we had brush her teeth. We also had to occasionally give both our dogs medication orally. Before Dixie and Lucy came into my life I grow up with a cocker spaniel and Pomeranian poodle mix. I learned how to care for them at a young age which is where my love for dogs started. Animals are truly important members of the family and are like another child to us. As we are not ready to add another dog of our own to our family we would love to care for yours now. I believe all animals should have a safe home to live with a caring family. I am available all day during the week at my house as I work from home and am available most weekends. Im available most days (including weekends) and some holidays. Kiddo's naptime is 1pm-3pm but can be shifted for pickups/drop-offs if necessary. I prefer pickups/ drop-offs to between 8am and 7pm so they don't interfere with the kiddo's nighttime schedule. I live on two acres on a dead end street (not currently fenced in but looking to remedy this soon). so there is plenty of space to roam and walk or play well away from the street. About: My love for animals began at a very young age, but to pin point, it would be 2006 when I brought my labrador retriever named Jasmine home. I grew up learning how to train and take care of Jasmine, and then a chunky pug Tony, two bunnies and three cats. About: I fell in love with dogs since the age of 4 after being terrified from my first encounter. But after a few more curiosity approaches, I went from being afraid to loving every dog I came across from walks and loving every dog I came across even on the roads. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and am a current dog mom. I have cared for dogs for 10+ years for friends and family! My friends are the reason I have decided to come on rover to help even more people with their dogs’ training, care, and play. Even though I'm a dog mom I’m available to care for cats as well! I had never done a dog walking service while being away; usually family could watch my dog but this time no one was available. While I was away, I got all of the notifications, reports and pictures from Andretta and felt so relieved that I could travel and know my dog was WELL taken care of! Not to mention, my dog loves her!
