“Charity and her family are awesome humans. This was our first time “boarding” our dog. I put boarding in quotations because quite honestly, our dog got to be part of Charity’s family for the week, and it probably felt more like a spa and playful summer camp to our dog than boarding. We usually send our dog to stay with family or friends the one time per year we actually get to leave town. So we were anxious sending her off via Rover for our first time. Charity is super sweet, kind, clearly loves animals, and definitely knows how to handle them. Our anxieties were immediately at ease when we met her and her family. She further eased them with daily photo updates, and she even wiped our dog’s eyes with warm towels due to some allergies! Ya’ll, this dog had it better during boarding than she did on our farm. Our dog is a husky and though pretty chill for that breed, I’m 100% confident in Charity and trusting in all her abilities to handle and care for any pup. She loved on our dog like it was her own. She also was very flexible when our flight home was delayed and we had to extend an additional night. We certainly recommend her and would definitely use her again.”

About: I have taken care of my own personal dogs throughout their lifespan from puppies to mature dogs. I am held at a high regard in my neighborhood as a dog sitter who is able to maintain a schedule, give sufficient playtime, and follow personal instructions accordingly. During the summer I am always available at home where I am able to give maximum attention to the pets. During college school season I am home on the weekends, Tuesdays, and Thursdays all day. Monday, Wednesday, Friday I will be gone from around 7 am to about 3 pm. I have a fenced in back yard of about half an acre that does have a pool. If your baby loves to swim they are more than welcome to. If water is an issue I can easily walk them on a leash. I have 2 golden doodles that are extremely friendly and crate trained. I have dog beds your fur baby can sleep on! My neighborhood is very small and safe so I can take them on plenty of walks.

Please understand that while we have experience with senior dogs and dogs with special needs, we are currently unable to book dogs that are experiencing incontinence (even with diapers) and night time pacing/spatial disorientation/sleeplessness that comes with senility. Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk. My home is clean and safe. About: Hi, I’m Charity! Having had animals all my life, I truly have a deep love and respect for them. To this day, one of my most favorite jobs was my very first job in high school at a dog boarding facility a short four wheel drive through our woods. My responsibilities there were to let dogs out, love on, clean/sanitize kennels, feed and administer medications, and clean up the dog yards. I gained so much experience with different breeds while there, which made me fall more in love with dogs specifically. As an adult, my first dog was a West Highland Terrier named Gabby that my then fiancé (now husband) surprised me with. She sadly passed at 14.5 years old in October of 2024. We also have bench bred/English Labradors named Abel & Jett. Jett is the first dog I’ve had that I got involved with dog shows and sports with. He has multiple titles from obedience, dock diving, fast cat, conformation, and hunt tests. I am a stay at home mom which allows me the freedom to be available for your dog majority of the day aside from when I need to run errands. BOARDING: We have a spacious home on a culdesac with a large fenced in backyard. When caring for pets in my home, it is incredibly important to me to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well-loved while providing lots of snuggles and play time. Daily updates of how your dog is doing along with pictures are sent to help keep your mind at ease. During a client dog’s stay, they will be on the main floor with our family. We have a basement with access to the backyard complete with a dog room furnished with 3 4ft x 6ft kennels, Kuranda beds, & orthopedic beds that my personal dogs will utilize, and is available for client dogs as well if needed. I also have a baby gate on our laundry room doorway off the kitchen that can be used for client dogs to have their own private space. This allows me to ensure every dog stays safe when not supervised. *I typically only board one client at a time. This allows your dog(s) to get all the attention and, I believe, have an easier transition staying in a new place vs there being multiple dogs from different clients. If a ‘regular’ requests the same dates, I will sometimes make an exception and let both families know there will be an additional dog. With my home set up, I am able to comfortably keep several client dogs separated and will only allow interaction between them with the approval of both families. DROP INS: During drop-in visits, our time is spent going out in their backyard for potty breaks and play, going on walks, getting loved on, and fed if needed. Any quick tidying I can do in the house (vacuuming, mop up if it’s muddy outside, wipe down counters, scoop out a litter box, etc) I am happy to do as well.

When I am home from college. I am usually very free all the time and I love taking care of you guys dogs and cats! About: I’ve been passionate about animals my entire life. I grew up training my dogs in my backyard as a kid and always had lots of pets. I foster dogs and cats at my home and do TNR in my community to help control the kitty population. I believe in positive reinforcement and giving grace to all animals. I have six animal loving kids that enjoy playing with and spending time with the animals in the house. I work full time from home so often take breaks to go spend time with the dogs in the backyard (also helps me get those steps in!) or go cuddle kittens. Dogs are all fed in crates to ensure safety while eating and also maintain correct diet for each animal. I give positive reinforcement for behaviors. I have all wood floors so accidents are not a huge deal and are to be expected as a dog has a change of environment. Cats will be kept in their own room with my son away from all other animals so they can have peace while here. Dogs are allowed outside in a fenced in yard. Depending on how they get along with other dogs - they will have a doggy daycare type experience here.
About: My family got their first dog, Princess, a Chinese Pug, when I was just 7 years old. She brought us joy for many years. We decided to add an addition to the family, Timber, a Golden Retriever, when I was 13. We got a second Golden Retriever, Poulan, when I was 15. These dogs brought me such joy and contentment for so long, when I was 23 I decided to get a dog of my very own. I got Rex, a Golden Retriever/ Labrador Retriever mix, when he was just seven weeks old. He is now my 12 year old fur baby. I wouldn't trade my life with him for anything in the world. I am available to board them both during weekdays and weekends. I have a backyard fenced on one side and I can also crate them if necessary. They stay with me in my room while I work and also allowed on the furniture to make them comfortable. I have plenty of space in my house for them to play around.

Growing up I was surrounded by animals. I had 3 dogs, 4 cats, a horse, and several small critters; pets are my passion! I used to Rover back in college and loved it so much, I’m doing it again for fun! Since beginning, it has been so much fun having a cuddly friend around and I thoroughly enjoy Rover & the amazing pups it brings my way. I am gentle, reliable, patient, and energetic! I prioritize both pet and owner comfort ie. Meet & Greets are essential before pets come to stay. I’m big on communication so be ready for lots of cute photos throughout your pup’s stay! I’m experienced giving medicine to cats & dogs- my lab growing up had arthritis and I regularly fed her medicine. My childhood cat also took thyroid medicine 2x daily. I also had to give my other elderly cat regular medicine injections. I take animal medicine administration very seriously, so you can trust that your pet will be healthy & comfortable during their stay. Cuddling, long walks, playing, and hanging out are my favorite activities to do with puppers and I also adore my feline friends. Potty breaks take place in neighborhood and private back yard. I don’t have any roommates, so your pets will be safe with me. I have a flexible work schedule & work from home, so I enjoy the company of the pups while I work. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so potty breaks can be as frequent as needed. I also enjoy the outside time walking pups gives me! I’m a big cuddler and have plenty of space inside for all the critters to have their own turf. Inside your home, I treat your home with respect and always try to leave it looking better than how it did when I got there: full bowls of water, a content fur baby, and a full belly!

“Charity and her family are awesome humans. This was our first time “boarding” our dog. I put boarding in quotations because quite honestly, our dog got to be part of Charity’s family for the week, and it probably felt more like a spa and playful summer camp to our dog than boarding. We usually send our dog to stay with family or friends the one time per year we actually get to leave town. So we were anxious sending her off via Rover for our first time. Charity is super sweet, kind, clearly loves animals, and definitely knows how to handle them. Our anxieties were immediately at ease when we met her and her family. She further eased them with daily photo updates, and she even wiped our dog’s eyes with warm towels due to some allergies! Ya’ll, this dog had it better during boarding than she did on our farm. Our dog is a husky and though pretty chill for that breed, I’m 100% confident in Charity and trusting in all her abilities to handle and care for any pup. She loved on our dog like it was her own. She also was very flexible when our flight home was delayed and we had to extend an additional night. We certainly recommend her and would definitely use her again.”
