I had set up an automatic feeder to give the cats dry food (Tyler was giving them wet food at his visits) and the cats toppled it and knocked it over. The next day, they clawed into the sealed bag of food I’d left out. Both times, Tyler graciously cleaned it up and helped me devise a way to keep the cats from doing it again. He checked in daily and sent occasional photos and videos, which my kids loved. I will definitely use him again!”

About: I don't have any professional experience, but I've grown up in a family that has housed a lot of dogs and cats since I was born. We've had 4 dogs and 7 cats from my early childhood until today, so while I did obviously have the rest of my family to assist with them, I've still had firsthand experience with a lot of different behaviors and habits of these pets and how certain traits or preferences vary between them. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.
About: Registered Veterinary Technician who works emergency medicine on the weekends looking for extra work through the week. I can’t stay at your house overnight, but your pet can come to mine. I can also do drop ins pretty regularly. I graduated college with a degree in Veterinary technology and passed my state boards. I work at an emergency clinic in Atlanta on the weekends and right now I’m free through the week. I can try my best to work out whatever you need help with. I’m skilled at giving medications and anything basic your pet may need in home, as well as lifesaving care due to any emergency. I can keep non child friendly cats in a different area, but dogs must be child friendly. I do have cats & ferrets, but they can be kept separately if your animals are not cat & small rodent friendly. About: For as long as I remember, animals have been the only constant defining piece of the puzzle that is my life. I have personally raised dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, birds, hamsters, goats and a lamb! Training, raising and saving animals gives me hope and a purpose. My experience goes all the way back to my first dog at the age of 9, who passed at the old age of 16.5years old in 2025. I have ridden and worked with horses for many years, as well as started my dog training journey in my later teens, turning it into my profession ever since. My goal is to provide top quality care to pet owners, as I understand the trust it takes to leave your pets behind and do not take that responsibility lightly. I know how I want my animals treated should I ever have to leave them, so I strive to give that same (picky) care to other owners. I have boarded & trained dogs for over 4 years and plan to open a boarding facility for both canines & equines in the future. I am a stay at home mom so I will usually be home more than 90% of the time to spend with your pet, with three dogs of my own, one cat and our farm animals. Both my inside dogs are crate trained, house trained, and one of them has his Canine Good Citizen Cert. the other is a young female working on her mannerisms but very friendly. Our third pup is our outside guardian livestock dog. We have four beautiful acres for lots of play and exercise. Most of the acreage is fenced, and our house is gated off. I am able to crate dogs if necessary, but am home most of the time so crating usually only at night time if applicable. They will be able to take as many potty breaks needed, get lots of play time, of course attention, and have access to water all day long (unless otherwise specified). Note* If they are not good with cats, that is not a problem as mine stays separated from any dogs beside my own.

We love going for walks and just spending time with them. Your dogs will receive lots of love and attention while your gone. I'm currently working from home full-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups. When my husband gets home from working the day shift, we're always in the back yard doing activities with the dogs. We have a huge fenced in back yard and three wonderful fur babies to keep your dog company. We don't let the dogs outside in the yard unsupervised. We can also crate your dog if it's needed.

About: I had multiple dogs all of my life and have taken care of horses and barn cats. Love all animals and want to make sure that they are doing amazing while you are away. I have pet sitted on and off over the years for friends and even flew to Las Vegas to petsit for an extended weekend. I’m currently working full time but can do late night drop ins, walks and am available any time on the weekends. Typically on the weekends I am free/flexible for any time, except the few times I’m out of town. Before letting pets out in fenced areas I double check gates are closed and latched before letting out. For any pets that are walked I ensure that they are leashed before heading out the door and do not take the leash off until inside with the door closed. I have an escape artist of myself at home so I know what to look for. I can easily place your pet in a crate before leaving if that is necessary.

I try and follow the normal schedule and routine you have for your pet. I have no problem crating your dog if needed but can let them free roam if that’s normal for them as well. I also try and keep them on the same feeding time. If your dog is used to walks in the morning or evening I try to accommodate that as well as the length of the walk.

“I was very nervous to leave Tula as I had only been with her for three days. She was experiencing separation anxiety after having her brother removed from the home they were in for 11 months. I did not want to leave her anywhere but I had no choice because of prior plans and she just popped into my life out of the blue 3 days before. Kristi was amazing! She allowed me to bring Tula for a visit beforehand so I would be comfortable and see that Tula was comfortable. She updated me daily and even ran to get more food when Tula ran out. Tula played with her other dogs and ran around in the fenced in area. Tula loved Kristi and stayed with no whining when I left her for my trip. This will be Tula’s second home from now on!”
