“Our pup had such an amazing time with Julie and her family! From the moment we arrived, Chiko felt right at home and quickly became part of the family. He loved playing with their two doodles, Chase and Rusty, and even got to meet their goats, pigs, chickens, and play with their kiddos. Their fully fenced yard (many acres) was perfect for safe playtime and gave us extra peace of mind. Julie went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving him, especially since Chiko is deaf and uses a special collar. She took the time to learn how to communicate with him, which gave us such reassurance. We loved the adorable photo updates throughout his stay, and when we picked him up, he was one happy (and tired!) pup who fell right asleep as soon as we got home. We are so grateful to Julie and her family for the wonderful care they gave our pup, and we can’t wait for him to stay with them again. Highly recommend!”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I've learned to care for and love them as family. I'd be so happy to look after your fur babies! My part-time job has a very flexible schedule, so I can dedicate lots of time to your pup while you're away. I have a small, 3-year-old dog who is shy at first but very friendly, and he'd love a playmate. Plus, my dog is allowed on all the furniture, and your pup would be welcome to join in on the comfort! I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your dogs! I'm available for boarding on weekends and weekdays. She required lots of help and being carried around but was a sweetheart. Currently I have eight geckos as well as two snakes, a skink, two cats (mostly outdoor) and one dog. My dogs name is Luna, she’s almost two years old, deaf and mentally special but as friendly as can be! (Several rooms for separation of my dog if needed as well as my crate. So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. I do not have a fence but I have a large pasture as well as lots of leads. I’m willing to walk for hours with your pet on a leash! I have one friendly pup to keep yours company and I have a spare room. I have the ability to crate my dog and space for a crate for yours if provided. We go out after every food and water break, get lots of cuddles and extra play time!

About: Hi, I’m Maggie! I’ve had dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. I have lived on a farm surrounded by dogs, horses, and cats, which gave me years of hands on experience caring for animals of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. After losing my beloved German Shepherd, I began fostering others through rescues. A journey that’s been both healing and incredibly rewarding. It’s deepened my understanding of different temperaments, training needs, and the importance of patience, structure, and gentle consistency. Whether I’m boarding, house sitting, or stopping in for a visit, I focus on creating a calm, loving environment where every pet feels safe and cared for like family. I treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I am currently working almost full time. I can spend evenings with your dog. I am usually gone around 6-8 hours a day at most. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I would only take outside on leash. I have a cat. I can keep the cat separated if needed.

About: My family and I have had two Huskies, one Ridgeback Mix, & a Lab/Shar Pei mix. We now currently have two, rambunctious Boston Terriers. If there’s one thing I’ve learned with these two is that family runs in fur too. I do have three kids. Ages 4 year old , 6 year and a 8 year old. All were raised around animals no issues. No allergies. I do have cats in home that have their own room so can easily be separated, I own two dogs but they are outside fenced in dogs. Will not interact with any animal I watch. I have had dogs in my life since I was born and i definitely cannot live without one! I have a degree and a cosmetology license! I was interested in doing rover on the side due to my love of animals and to fill my extra availability. I love dogs and have owned them ever since I was born! I am very used to big dogs and small dogs because i have owned them all or taken care of them all! He loved playing with their two doodles, Chase and Rusty, and even got to meet their goats, pigs, chickens, and play with their kiddos. Their fully fenced yard (many acres) was perfect for safe playtime and gave us extra peace of mind. Julie went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving him, especially since Chiko is deaf and uses a special collar. She took the time to learn how to communicate with him, which gave us such reassurance. We loved the adorable photo updates throughout his stay, and when we picked him up, he was one happy (and tired!) pup who fell right asleep as soon as we got home. I have extensive experience living and caring for both dogs and cats, and I welcome the opportunity to look after your pooch or kitty! I work full-time at the Gilmer County Courthouse, but my schedule is fairly flexible throughout the week. Of course, on weekends I’m even more flexible. I usually prefer house sitting (but am open for dog walking and drop-in visits, as well as boarding) for folks and make sure to read any provided instructions multiple times!
