“Our pup had such an amazing time with Julie and her family! From the moment we arrived, Chiko felt right at home and quickly became part of the family. He loved playing with their two doodles, Chase and Rusty, and even got to meet their goats, pigs, chickens, and play with their kiddos. Their fully fenced yard (many acres) was perfect for safe playtime and gave us extra peace of mind. Julie went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving him, especially since Chiko is deaf and uses a special collar. She took the time to learn how to communicate with him, which gave us such reassurance. We loved the adorable photo updates throughout his stay, and when we picked him up, he was one happy (and tired!) pup who fell right asleep as soon as we got home. We are so grateful to Julie and her family for the wonderful care they gave our pup, and we can’t wait for him to stay with them again. Highly recommend!”

“Reyna was amazing! Her and her family were the sweetest and made my dog feel like family. She sent photos and videos and he had the best time! They went on adventures and definitely had an abundance of play time! She’s very communicative and we even had a meet and greet before hand to ensure everyone’s comfort before boarding. Highly recommend Reyna!”

“Thank you, Ashley, for taking care of my old boy and my needy girl! Really appreciate the meet and greet and you answering all my questions (and so kindly) making me feel comfortable. You were very communicative, and I loved seeing the pictures. Bonus, the pups came home exhausted! Ha”

“Erin was amazing!! She sent me updated photos of Bentley everyday! Great communication, Bentley instantly loved her the moment I dropped him off. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing he was in good hands! Highly recommend Erin, she will take care and love on your dog like they are her own! Thank you, Erin!”

“Max had a great time at Pats place. Her place is very organized and she made sure Max was comfortable with meet and greets of the other dogs that would be with him during his stay. We were coming in from out of town and her communication always prompt and friendly. I highly recommend Pat and would use her again if ever back in that area.”

“Wynema was super easy to work with and very accommodating with our evolving schedule. She seems to have a had great time with Ariella and if we’re ever in the area again we will definitely work with her!”

“I ended up reaching out to Maggie for a day of boarding. We were traveling in her area, and I asked if she’d take care of my pup for a few hours while we went out for my birthday dinner. Sadly, we had a last minute emergency and didn’t end up using her services. That being said, she was very kind, communicative, and flexible. I appreciated the interaction immensely, and I would reach out again in a heartbeat if we lived in the area!”

“This was our first time boarding with Monika, and we will definitely use her again! Our 15-year-old dog Oreo has some special needs, and Monika did a wonderful job in taking great care of her, making sure she was comfortable, and communicating with us throughout the process. Oreo had a great time, and we didn't have to worry about being out of town because we knew that she was being well cared for. Thank you Monika!”

“Yuwadee was an excellent match for Cookie. Cookie had space to run and play and make new friends. She went to Yuwadee immediately with love and kisses. We felt very comfortable leaving her in her care. When we picked her up two days later she was happy and healthy. We would definitely like for Cookie to stay with her in the future.”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. During college, I worked as a veterinary assistant, where I gained valuable knowledge about animal health, behavior, and safety. In addition to my professional experience, I have rescued and fostered numerous dogs over the years, helping them transition into loving forever homes. As a proud dog parent to five dogs of my own, I understand that pets are family and deserve the same love, attention, and care we would give our own. I am responsible, compassionate, patient, and attentive to each pet's individual needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm and reassuring presence, I strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience while you're away. I look forward to treating your furry family member like one of my own! Experience with: •Senior care •Puppy care •Pets with disabilities •Pet medication administration This season of life has taught me to slow down and focus on what matters most. As I recover from cancer and gradually return to work, pet sitting has become something that brings me joy, purpose, and healing. I treat every pet with the same love and care I give my own, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in compassionate, responsible, and attentive hands. I provide attentive, loving care whether pets stay in my home or I care for them in theirs. I follow each pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication needs, and plenty of affection. In my home, pets are treated like family and given a safe, comfortable environment. When caring for pets in their own home, I help maintain their routine and surroundings to reduce stress and keep them happy while their owners are away. My goal is always to make pets feel secure, loved, and well cared for.
“This was our first time using Rover and we were a little nervous. Angie was an amazing person and took such good care of our boy. This was his first time separated from us and we were so worried but Angie put our fears to rest. She sent us pictures everyday and loved our boy like it was her own baby. We can’t thank her enough.”

“Our little Morkie, Molly, has stayed with Esmeralda multiple times. Each time, Molly has had a full play day with Esmeralda's little furbabies. Molly is content, happy and safe when she visits Esmeralda. We always receive photos and updates throughout the day. We will continue our visits to Esmeralda whenever we are in town and visiting the Blue Rideg area and need a sitter.”

“Lori took wonderful care of Foxy Lady, our 13 year old Corgi Terrier! Kept us up to date on how she was doing and even sent us pictures on most days! We will definitely be using Lori again. Foxy bonded with her young son. Appreciated that Lori took Foxy outside and took her on walks (which she loves!)”
“Once again Lacole exceeded our expectations while taking care of our Julio. She is very patient with our extremely high energy dog and even went about hand feeding him when he wouldn’t eat his kibble due to excitement. We will continue to book with her as long as she is around!”

“Amanda is wonderful!!! Best pet sitter ever. She takes care of everything and our fur baby is happy the whole time we are gone. It is such a pleasure to work with someone so wonderful! Thank you!!!!”

“My cat Harry was very happy with Leah and has requested her to watch him over the holidays! He was well taken care of and Leah also got the Mail for us! She did an outstanding job!”

“Regan is amazing! Our meet and greet went great but during the visit my dog was nervous, barking and keeping his distance. Regan took the time to make him feel comfortable and now he loves when Regan visits! I appreciate Regan so much. I'll definitely be booking again.”

“Such a great sitter! My boys got so much love and attention, and Jenny was so communicative about the stay. I really appreciated her attention to detail, she treated them like they were her own. Jenny will definitely be my go-to!”

“Aaron went above and beyond for our kitty! She got sick just before we were scheduled to leave; he gave her medicine, and dealt with the unpleasant litter boxes that accompanied her illness. Thankfully that only lasted a few days. She is shy, and never let him get a good look at her, but he kept trying. Aaron is also an excellent communicator. He kept us apprised of her condition (as revealed by her litter boxes). We highly recommend Aaron and hope to have him as our sitter for the foreseeable future.”

About: I've always loved taking care of animals and have been surrounded by pets for as long as I can remember. I truly enjoy making sure pets are happy, healthy, and well loved whether that means feeding, walking, or just spending quality time with them. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, and small animals, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I spend a lot of time at the dog park with my own dogs, especially my high energy pup who needs plenty of exercise and playtime. I understand how important it is for active dogs to burn off energy in a fun and safe environment, and I bring that same care and attention to every pet I look after. I'm a school photographer, which means I work seasonally and have a pretty flexible schedule for most of the year. This allows me to be available for pet sitting, especially during off-peak months. I’m reliable, love animals, and happy to help care for your pets when you need it! When pet sitting, I prioritize safety by carefully following any instructions you provide, keeping pets in secure environments, and making sure they’re never left unattended in risky situations. I build trust through consistent routines, gentle care, and regular updates to pet parents. I also create a calm, familiar environment by maintaining pets’ daily schedules, offering plenty of affection, and ensuring they feel at home even when you’re away.

If I’m staying in your home, I’ll be present all day to make sure your pets feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for. I keep pets safe and happy by following owner instructions. About: I have been watching dogs sense I was able to drive. I’ve grown up my entire life with dogs and cats. I have a pup named Prince he’s a good boy. I love to meet new pup friends and take care of them as if they were mine. I am a full time student but I am online so I can walk or take out your pets whenever it’s needed, but i do work a part time job. If my assistants is needed just text me and we can set something up! I first want to meet the dogs and go over the do’s and don’ts with the owner. I value the comfort and trust from the pet and owner over everything.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I’ve spent my whole life caring for them. As the primary caregiver for my families pets, I’ve gained a deep understanding of their needs, personalities, and behaviors. I have 10+ years of hands‑on cat care experience, including raising abandoned kittens that I bottle‑fed from just days old, caring for elderly cats, and everything in between.
About: I have taken care of dogs for the past 10 years. My parents were Great Dane breeders and I have experience raising puppies from birth-seniority. I used to groom dogs as a part time job and would love to groom yours free of charge while sitting for you! I am also experienced in training dogs basic commands as well as a few tricks and could probably have your furry baby doing a new trick in less than 2 hours. I'd love to help you with your lovable best friend, day or night!❤️ I currently work part time and have plenty of free time to give your furry friend that special TLC they love! I always come prepared with treats and toys as well. I usually arrive at the client's house, let the pet introduce themselves to me naturally (no threatening behavior, no forced petting, no loud or excited talking, just let them get to know me!) and then hang out in their space for a bit, offering treats if allowed, letting them get used to me, then going on with the routine of feeding, walking, etc, if I'm allowed to groom them, once they're used to my presence, I'll begin that, making sure to stop immediately if they seem upset or threatened! I always end our day together with some treats/food and spending some time with them!
“Thank you Katirna for the wonderful care you gave to our kitty cat. We appreciated the photos you sent of him and that you even brought a package up to the house that was left at our gate. If you are looking for someone to take care of your pet and give you peace of mind, Katirna is your person!”

“Personally, first time we use this service in the US and we were a bit nervous. Lacole exceeded expectations, always very responsive, attentive, on time and proactive looking after our furry ones. We return from our trip happy and relieved that they could not have been in better hands. We look forward to having Lacole help us in our upcoming trips. Thank you Lacole for your time and dedication with our little ones!! ❤️”

“Ashley is the kindest human on the planet. I was so blessed to find her prior to a work/family trip for daycare. We did a meet and greet prior to our start and my 2 pups immediately went nuts for her. I knew that they would be in safe hands for the week and they were so excited to get there the following day and every day! She has an amazing pet friendly house, backyard and such sweet pups of her own. I wish I could move her to MD!!! If you have the chance to book her, you will be as blessed as me! Thanks Ashley!!”

About: Hi, I’m Maggie! I’ve had dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. I have lived on a farm surrounded by dogs, horses, and cats, which gave me years of hands on experience caring for animals of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. After losing my beloved German Shepherd, I began fostering others through rescues. A journey that’s been both healing and incredibly rewarding. It’s deepened my understanding of different temperaments, training needs, and the importance of patience, structure, and gentle consistency. Whether I’m boarding, house sitting, or stopping in for a visit, I focus on creating a calm, loving environment where every pet feels safe and cared for like family. I treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I am currently working almost full time. I can spend evenings with your dog. I am usually gone around 6-8 hours a day at most. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I would only take outside on leash. I have a cat. I can keep the cat separated if needed.
“Esmeralda offered the perfect day care experience for our little morkie, Molly. We were visiting in the Blue Ridge area and had activities planned for two days that would not allow us to bring our pet along. Esmeralda's home was a peaceful retreat in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Our little morkie gets overwhelmed and stressed at boarding facilities. But she was happy and playful when I picked her up each day. Esmeralda sent updates and photos both days and was genuinely happy to see Molly each morning. We will definitely use Esmeralda again when we travel to the Blue Ridge area. We highly recommend her!”

“Reyna and her family let my high energy 2 year old golden come hang out with them flr Memorial Day weekend and they were fantastic! Benny came home completely exhausted and I knew he was in very good hands. They were thoughtful with how they introduced him to the other dogs and had a great property for him to run around and play on. Will definitely bring him back!”

“Max enjoyed his time with Lena. She was very attentive to him and provided him with great care during his visit. This was his first time away from his family, so her kindness was very important. Max made a new friend with Lena's Yorkie, Freddie. Lena sent us a very nice photo of the two new friends. We will definitely contact Lena for future visits to that area. Thank you very much, Lena!”

“Couldn’t ask for a better person to take care of our sweet Natasha. She went out of her way to accommodate us and rearranged her schedule to make it work for us. We would be very confident having Emily look after our girl the next time we need someone.”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I’ve spent my whole life caring for them. Being the primary caregiver for my own family pets has given me a deep understanding of their needs, personalities, and behaviors. Over the years I’ve raised and cared for dozens of animals, including abandoned kittens that I bottle‑fed from a few days old. These experiences taught me patience, problem‑solving, and how to stay calm and capable in all kinds of situations. I’ve also provided pet care for family friends, neighbors, and coworkers, giving me hands‑on experience with many different breeds, ages, and temperaments. Caring for animals is something I genuinely love, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is always to make them feel safe, understood, and comfortable while you’re away. I currently work part‑time on weekends while attending college full‑time throughout the week, which gives me plenty of flexibility in my schedule. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits, and I can easily adjust my routine to make sure your pets get the care, attention, and consistency they need. I’m reliable, communicative, and always make pet care a priority. I have a friendly Great Pyrenees named Lily and a cat named Willow, who I bottle‑fed and raised from a kitten. They’re both very sweet, but I can keep my pets completely separate from yours if needed to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I pay close attention to their behavior, keep a controlled environment, and follow any routines or rules you prefer. You can trust that your pet will be cared for with caution, love, and respect.
“Took very good care of my baby. Freya came home happy and very wore out. She received a lot of attention and a lot of play time. Lynn took her to dog park. I will use Lynn again and will refer her to anyone.”

About: As someone who personally has an animal with special needs I understand the kind of care they need! I also have experience working with animals of all ages. Along with working with animals of all ages I have both volunteered and worked at a local Humane Society. Working there entailed feeding, cleaning, and providing medical care to both cats and dogs. As a student who only works a part time job I am back and forth between campus and my house all week. With an older cat I frequently drop by my house throughout the day to check on him. Because of this I would be able to provide the same care to your animals as well. I live in a quiet neighborhood near several large parks. Because of this I will be able to not only walk dogs in my neighborhood but take them to surrounding parks to walk and play! Along with taking dogs out my home is equipped with cat friendly furniture, scratchers and enrichment.

About: Hi! I’m Wynema with Harvest & Haven Farm. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them isn’t just a job—it’s something I genuinely love. Our farm is home to chickens, ducks, goats, donkeys, dogs, and more, so your pet will be joining a family that’s used to providing lots of love, attention, and care. When your pet stays with us, they’ll have plenty of room to explore, play, and relax in a peaceful farm setting. I know every animal has a different personality, so I take the time to get to know each one and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet loves to run, cuddle, play, or simply nap in the sunshine, my goal is for them to feel like they’re on their own little vacation. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’ll care for them the same way I care for my own. Caring for animals isn’t something I squeeze into my schedule—it’s what I do every day.
About: I’ve cared for pets my entire life! I truly love animals and will treat yours as if they were my own—with patience, attention, and plenty of love. You can count on it! I’m currently working from home. I can be flexible according to your needs. Be sure to provide details as to what’s needed and when and I’ll work with you to accommodate the best possible arrangement. I have a flexible schedule and will lovingly care for your pet while honoring their routine and making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for.

“Aaron was absolutely wonderful with our two girls!!!! And we appreciate all the pictures and updates while we were away as I am definitely one of those worry dog moms!!!! We definitely know he will continue to use him as one of our girls is very picky on who she will poop for!!!! If you need anyone he is definitely the one!!!!!”

I live on 6+ acres with plenty of space for dogs to explore and enjoy, but my yard is not fenced, so all outdoor time is always supervised for safety.

Ha”

“Once again Lacole exceeded our expectations while taking care of our Julio. She is very patient with our extremely high energy dog and even went about hand feeding him when he wouldn’t eat his kibble due to excitement. We will continue to book with her as long as she is around!”

“Candie was quick to respond to a very last minute booking. She and her family were so kind and welcomed our dog to her family for a lengthy period of time. Jax had a blast playing and swimming. We received pictures and an update every evening. We will definitely book again!”

“My dogs were all smiles while hanging out with Tiffany and her sweet family! They were clearly well taken care of and loved on throughout their stay - and were probably sad to leave their new friends! Everything was great from the meet and greet through the stay. Tiffany is a great communicator and very friendly. We hope to book again on our next trip! 👍👍”

“Alyssa was great with kopa and accommodating all of his needs. He is usually anxious so I was a bit worried but she was patient and loving and he opened up quickly! She kept me updated and sent pictures, would definitely use her again!”
