I have four cats of my own, one of which is in diabetic remission now but required daily insulin and blood sugar tests for about a year - so I have experience caring for medically complicated pets as well. Working at a rescue and a grooming salon gives you so much experience to learn more about each breed and each dog. I (and my husband -Ray) have raised a number of dogs throughout the years from, Toy Poodles, Miniature Pinchers, to Chows. We are partial to the smaller, lap dogs who love to be petted and cuddled so they will feel safe while their owners are away. My little fur guest can choose to go outside a few times a day or just stay inside if they like. I am flexible to the needs of my little fur guests. I will feed the pets according to their accustomed schedule and take them outside when needed. I have a very nice, secured fenced back yard for running and playing ball. And, by all means bring their favorite crate, bed, blanket or toys so they will feel right at home. Bring their favorite food and any treats that they are accustomed to eating. And of course, fresh water is always available. Please bring their collar and leash for their walk time. Some people even bring Mom or Dads piece of clothing (like at shirt) to sleep with so they will feel close to them, while they are away. I appreciate your business and I am here to serve your pet so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. I am retired and stay at Home unless I need to run a short errand etc. My home is quiet and peaceful. I have a glass front door if your furbaby wants to lay or sit and look out the door. I provide feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of love and attention. I am reliable, patient, and always follow the owner's instructions carefully so pets feel safe, happy, and comfortable while their family is away. As a recent high school graduate, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to caring for your pets. I am available most weekdays, weekends, and holidays with advance notice. I will work with your schedule to ensure your pets receive the care, attention, exercise, and love they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I will always follow your care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, and any special needs. I take the time to build trust with every pet, provide plenty of love and attention, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I will also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I’ve constantly been around dogs since I was 6. I’ve dog sat in the past and I am accustomed to all sorts of dogs — big or small, playful or calm, young or old! I am a full time student at Mercer University. Tuesdays and Thursdays are my busiest, where I’ll be in classes from 8 AM-3:15 PM. Reach out to me to hear more about my school schedule! I currently have an American bully, a cockatiel, and a parakeet. In the past I’ve had other large dog breeds, a cat, fish, and turtles. I also have some familiarity with reptile care. “I always worry when I board Sebastien because you always hear horror stories. It's not a facility you can go in and inspect, so you rely on reviews and scrutinize profiles and hope for the best. I didn't worry about Sebastien at all after meeting Adria. She was personable and detail oriented and the exterior of her home was clean and well maintained. She sent pictures and updates and gave me notes on his food. She was also not overwhelmed by his high energy antics. He came home happy and clean! It's such a relief to find someone trustworthy, and I highly recommend!”
