“Angie is the absolute best! I brought my two dogs for a meet and greet before their stay and she answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. She has a lovely home and yard and you can tell how much she cares about dogs. I was nervous as I've never boarded before. One of my dogs is very nervous in new situations. Angie sent daily updates and pics text ands assured me he was doing great. And he was! Both my babies were comfortable, loved, exercised, and treated as part of the family. Angie is professional, kind, accommodating, and gentle. When I picked them up they were happy and worn out! Lots of play! We drove almost an hour out of the way to leave them with her. About: Thank you for your interest! I have had all types of pets, and still do, my whole life. I love being around dogs and cats and they seem to enjoy me too! I love all sizes and breeds of dogs. Currently I’m at home raising my 3 kids. While they’re at school I have time to enjoy being around other people’s pets. I also really enjoy working with pets in different areas such as basic commands and simple tricks. I consider myself a very trustworthy and honest person. I have been an animal lover as long as I could remember and have a great relationship with them. I would love to have the opportunity to get to know and take care of your dog or cat. About: I have plenty of experience with handling and caring for animals as I have 3 dogs, 8 cats, 4 turtles, 4 frogs, and 2 lizards. I grew up with animals and have volunteered at animal shelters and worked at an animal care hospital as a kennel tech. I'd love to open my care to other people's pets as it's something I'm pretty comfortable and trained in doing. I've had pets my entire life and have a pretty strong passion about animals and can care for any range of breeds or size without issue. I'm very flexible with scheduling and timing as I have a lot of free time and can do pretty much any timing required even most last minutes if needed. Im open to all the services for pet care on here and really do make it my priority for who's pet I'm caring for. I do have a baby that i need to take with me most places but i can babywear him or figure out something that works if comforable! I recently left my full time job job to have more time for my hobbies and side jobs that i much prefer. I can be home all day if need be, and when boarding I do keep my pets separate in the lower portion of the house unless I'm supervising so all pets feel secure and comfortable. I have a fenced yard and a deck that leads out from the living room. I ask that requests be for non destructive dogs as i did board two unbehaved dogs last year that tore into furniture, so please no requests if the pet has a history of being destructive! I let your pet warm up to my home first and make sure to follow the specific care needed per each pet according to the owner's directions.

“Esmeralda offered the perfect day care experience for our little morkie, Molly. We were visiting in the Blue Ridge area and had activities planned for two days that would not allow us to bring our pet along. Esmeralda's home was a peaceful retreat in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Our little morkie gets overwhelmed and stressed at boarding facilities. But she was happy and playful when I picked her up each day. Esmeralda sent updates and photos both days and was genuinely happy to see Molly each morning. We will definitely use Esmeralda again when we travel to the Blue Ridge area. We highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve always had dogs at home, up to three at once! Most all raised and trained from puppy stages. I had a disabled dog recently who lost usage of her back legs and was incompetent. She required lots of help and being carried around but was a sweetheart. Currently I have eight geckos as well as two snakes, a skink, two cats (mostly outdoor) and one dog. My dogs name is Luna, she’s almost two years old, deaf and mentally special but as friendly as can be! (Several rooms for separation of my dog if needed as well as my crate. So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. I do not have a fence but I have a large pasture as well as lots of leads. I’m willing to walk for hours with your pet on a leash! I have one friendly pup to keep yours company and I have a spare room. I have the ability to crate my dog and space for a crate for yours if provided. We go out after every food and water break, get lots of cuddles and extra play time!

About: I have always grown up with dogs who we train as puppies. Because of this, I have become known in my community as a pet person. This has allowed me to get multiple jobs from family and friends in the area. Now as I am on the road to starting my teaching career and newly married, I am looking for ways to fill my breaks. I can't wait to meet your pets! I am looking to take care of pets during the summer and school breaks due to my teaching schedule. We have a miniature dachshund that’s older but still active. I build in time each day for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins to make sure every pet gets the attention they need. On a weekly basis, I keep my schedule flexible so I can accommodate regular clients as well as last-minute requests. I’m used to balancing responsibilities, so I make sure pets are always a priority and never rushed. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday visits, or evening care, I make time to give each pet proper care, attention, and companionship. Caring for animals isn’t something I squeeze in—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and make part of my everyday life. At this time, I’m not offering boarding in my home or overnight stays in clients’ homes. I currently focus on drop-in visits and dog walking, where I can give pets reliable, one-on-one care in their own environment. During each visit, I make sure your pet is fed, has fresh water, gets exercise or playtime, and plenty of attention. I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. I’m also happy to follow any special instructions, including medications or specific care needs. I respect your home and make sure everything is left clean, safe, and secure. You’ll also receive regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. As my schedule grows, I may expand my services in the future!

About: I’ve taken care of animals from a young age and I’ve grown to love it, I love it so much I’m going to school and turning working with animals into a full time career. Over the years I have pet sit, dog walking , and cat and dog grooming anything you name it!! I’m currently still in college and next year I’m starting my veterinary journey. At the moment I’m doing my classes online so I will be able to tend the the fur babies as needed We have a huge yard, lots of play space we have doggie crates* if needed* if they have a schedule I will stick to that just let me know:)

She has a lovely home and yard and you can tell how much she cares about dogs. I was nervous as I've never boarded before. One of my dogs is very nervous in new situations. Angie sent daily updates and pics text ands assured me he was doing great. And he was! Both my babies were comfortable, loved, exercised, and treated as part of the family. Angie is professional, kind, accommodating, and gentle. When I picked them up they were happy and worn out! Lots of play! We drove almost an hour out of the way to leave them with her. About: Thank you for your interest! I have had all types of pets, and still do, my whole life. I love being around dogs and cats and they seem to enjoy me too! I love all sizes and breeds of dogs. Currently I’m at home raising my 3 kids. While they’re at school I have time to enjoy being around other people’s pets. I also really enjoy working with pets in different areas such as basic commands and simple tricks. I consider myself a very trustworthy and honest person. I have been an animal lover as long as I could remember and have a great relationship with them. I would love to have the opportunity to get to know and take care of your dog or cat.
