“It was our first time using Rover so my husband and I were a bit nervous to leave our 3mo puppy with someone we didn’t know. But we got the chance to meet with Lisa and Dean before we dropped him off and those worries went right out the door. Dean even taught Bear to shake on the first day they met. We saw how our pup responded to them and knew it was an amazing fit. And it was! Lisa and Dean did a FANTASTIC job with Bear. Lisa kept in contact with me, sent pictures and videos the whole time we were away. They taught him to come, crate up, and lay down (which was something my husband I were struggling with) Even took him on a golf cart ride! Lisa and Dean loved on our pup, Bear very well and it showed. We will absolutely be booking with them again”

About: I have raised and cared for families, friends 🧡, and even coworkers' pets. Growing up, I always enjoyed watching veterinarians help our farm animals. My mother taught us about natural remedies we could find in nature to help cure or heal us over time. One memorable experience was when I saved a beloved cat from what we believed was antifreeze poisoning. Drawing on what I learned from my family and my work, I created activated charcoal using black coal from the fireplace. I mixed the powdered charcoal with warm milk and carefully forced it down my little cat's throat. Thankfully, I was able to save my cat, Taco 🌮 😺, who went on to live for many more happy years.

I love being outside, walks, play and fresh air will be plentiful for your pup. Cat boxes get scooped once day, or more if that is what your cat is used to. The needs of the animals would determine how my daily routine goes. Pups go outside first thing in the morning, followed by breakfast. Depending on what the day is would determine how the day is spent - might be a visit to my work, or a day in sunshine. My goal is to disrupt their regular routines as little as possible while you are away. I feel like this is the best way to minimize their stress. For this reason, I prefer to stay at the home of pets but do pet sit cat-friendly pups in my home as well. I do not have a fenced yard so all pups would need to come with a leash. I live on a fairly quiet street where we can go on pleasant walks.

About: I have owned and watched a variety of animals. I have watched dogs in the past for my neighbors and family. I will let them run around outside and throw the ball with them. I also let them roam around the house most of the day. I will also take my pets on a walk as long as the weather is decent! I do not want them to overheat or get really wet because of rain. I do work full time but I have flexibility with my schedule and am able to be home a lot. My work days is normally around 6 hours. I use to work as a vet tech so I am well versed with how to handle animals and ensure they are properly taken care of. I have a fenced yard and I let them run around for a few minutes if I don’t go outside with them. I don’t usually leave my pets outside longer than 10 or 15 mins without being outside. The yard is big enough for them to run around and tire themselves. I also have a dog park in my neighborhood that I will take them to if no one is in the park. It is very spacious and allows for them to get a lot of energy out!

About: I am 25 years old, I have cared for animals and pet sit of all different sizes. Horses, dogs, cats, cows, pigs most animals I have not only been around but have taken care of. I have given animals medication (orally and through injection), I have cared for seniors, special needs animals and plenty of young animals. Reliable as well as honest. I have had experience in keeping other people's animals in my home and also in their home. I've tended to small dogs all the way up to very large dogs, have administered medicine when needed as well as even fixed special meals. I am a stay at home mom and my best availability is 9-2 during the week and any time on the weekends! other hours could possibly be worked out if you just send me a message. I’m very punctual and will make sure your pup gets to his/her potty break on time. Leave me a detailed message on what you want your fur baby to do, play fetch, practice tricks, go for a walk, etc. and I’ll make it happen 🙂
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I’ve personally had 4 in my house and used to help take care of my grandmas. I’ve been blessed to take care of 2 greyhounds, 1 pit bull mix, 2 Dobermans, and 1 boxer I work with DoorDash and instacart so I’m very flexible for whenever you need me to check in, stay overnight or just hangout with your pups! I do not offer home boarding as I have too many dogs in the house as of now. But I’m always willing to stop by or stay the night with your pups

About: I have had a dog for as long as I can remember. But have had 3 of my own since the age of 17. Although I have no professional experience my dogs are well trained. I love running with my dogs. I have a harness and running leash that would fit medium to large dogs. I’d love to run with your dog for an additional cost (max 1.5 miles). I am a stay at home dad of my 2 children. I am pretty flexible when it comes to when I am available. I prefer earlier in the mornings or late afternoons. Upon a visit to your home I would be happy to make sure their is nothing for them they can get into to harm themselves. When walking I am always extremely cautious of other dogs due to not knowing the temperament of other dogs. Lastly upon entering your home I will do my best to be slow and calm. That is your dogs home, not mine. I believe they deserve respect in that aspect just like we do.
About: I have been Housesitting &/or caring for pets in some way since I was at least 15! I am reliable, kind, caring, loving, fun, & will always go the extra mile to make sure pet babies are not only taken care of, but equal members of the home!! I am a Full-Time Special Education Coordinator, but definitely flexible! Mornings, afternoons, evenings, spend the night stays, holidays, etc. all work well for me in order to meet your needs!! I can let pets out into a fenced area to be monitored! I can walk your pets! I can feed your pets! I love to play & snuggle with all pets, etc!
About: As a lifelong pet owner and a stay at home Mama with plenty of time, I have a lot of love in my heart for animals, ask anyone in my family (they love to laugh at me for it)! “It was our first time using Rover so my husband and I were a bit nervous to leave our 3mo puppy with someone we didn’t know. But we got the chance to meet with Lisa and Dean before we dropped him off and those worries went right out the door. Dean even taught Bear to shake on the first day they met. We saw how our pup responded to them and knew it was an amazing fit. And it was! Lisa and Dean did a FANTASTIC job with Bear. Lisa kept in contact with me, sent pictures and videos the whole time we were away. They taught him to come, crate up, and lay down (which was something my husband I were struggling with) Even took him on a golf cart ride!
