About: I've had pets nearly my whole life. I absolutely love dogs and cats. How anyone could mistreat an animal is beyond me. I will give the best care to your pet. I retired a year ago although I'm only 53. I have plenty of time and I love animals so I decided to pet sit and board. I have a big back yard that is fenced in. I also have dog beds in my home. About: I've always had a love for animals. I've never met a fur baby I can't get along with. I get the most joy taking care of animals. I work from home with a pretty flexible schedule for dog walks and drop ins. And since I am home, I am able to stay with animals who tend to have some separation anxiety. I also volunteered at the Nebraska Humane Society throughout high school, walking the shelter dogs and providing them with much-needed enrichment. About: I have owned dogs and cats my whole life. I have had my dog since turning 18. She loves all animals just as I do. My cat, I’ve had for 3 years, and he can be more tentative but the layout of my house allows him to be separated if necessary. I’m currently in grad school and working part-time as a gymnastics coach so that gives me all day to hang with your pets! I wake up around 7am each day and walk my dog (yours will join us). When we get back inside everyone gets breakfast. I let everyone outside once more before heading to work, though it can be more often if needed. When I get home around 8pm I take the dogs out to walk again and then feed them dinner. After cuddling up in the couch to wind down, everyone will go out one more time and get ready for bed. If you prefer your dog be fed before I head to work, that can of course be arranged. I feed and walk the dogs twice or three times daily. The dog will also be allowed on furniture, if the owner is okay with that. The evening will consist of endless belly rubs and cuddles as I wind down after work. At night animals are crated to allow for a peaceful night.

Clementine needed a medicinal spray and by the time we came back: her ears were pretty much healed from James spraying her everyday (and we all know how much cats like to be sprayed). We are grateful her needs were met, but also that James respected her enough to give her space to be a cat. As much as we missed her, we knew she was in good hands. We highly recommend James, and will most definitely be asking him to watch our cat again during future travel. Thanks for everything!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to giant breeds. I’m comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and I understand that every dog has their own needs. I treat pets like family and make it a priority to follow their normal feeding, potty, exercise, and sleep routines so they feel as comfortable as possible while away from home. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to provide plenty of affection, playtime, and updates so you can feel confident your dog is being well cared for. I’m home full-time during the week, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, attention, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. I’m also available for boarding on weekends and can adjust my routine to help keep your dog as close to their normal schedule as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to me. I have an unfenced yard, so dogs are always supervised and kept safely leashed while outside. Inside, I provide a calm and comfortable environment and follow each pet’s normal feeding, potty, exercise, and sleeping routine as closely as possible. I’m also happy to use a crate if your dog is crate trained and that is part of their usual routine.
