“We just returned from a week's vacation in Florida and Stacy cared for our two shih tzus for the week. I can't say enough good things about our experience with her! This was our first time using rover.com so we weren't sure quite what to expect, and we were naturally a bit anxious leaving our fur babies. Stacy put us at ease right away. We had a meet and greet so the dogs could warm up to their new environment and meet Stacy's pets as well. When we dropped them off, I felt comfortable knowing they were in good hands. Stacy administered meds to one of our dogs daily, and provided us with pictures, videos, and email updates several times a day. She even gave them baths! More than anything, we felt like she genuinely loved and cared for our dogs the same way we would, and that is very hard to find. We will definitely use her services again in the future. About: I had multiple dogs all of my life and have taken care of horses and barn cats. Love all animals and want to make sure that they are doing amazing while you are away. I have pet sitted on and off over the years for friends and even flew to Las Vegas to petsit for an extended weekend. I’m currently working full time but can do late night drop ins, walks and am available any time on the weekends. Typically on the weekends I am free/flexible for any time, except the few times I’m out of town. Before letting pets out in fenced areas I double check gates are closed and latched before letting out. For any pets that are walked I ensure that they are leashed before heading out the door and do not take the leash off until inside with the door closed. I have an escape artist of myself at home so I know what to look for. I can easily place your pet in a crate before leaving if that is necessary.

About: I got my dog when I was 13 and she was the best thing that happened to me. She was the most loving and caring dog I ever met but lost her to a serious illness and I just love to give out my heart to animals and would love to spend some time with your animals. I am a stay at home mom and the moment. Son is five and in kindergarten and he loves animals just as much as I do but because I’m not completely over losing my dog I haven’t been able to get him a dog for himself. I know how I want my animals treated should I ever have to leave them, so I strive to give that same (picky) care to other owners. I have boarded & trained dogs for over 4 years and plan to open a boarding facility for both canines & equines in the future. I am a stay at home mom so I will usually be home more than 90% of the time to spend with your pet, with three dogs of my own, one cat and our farm animals. Both my inside dogs are crate trained, house trained, and one of them has his Canine Good Citizen Cert. the other is a young female working on her mannerisms but very friendly. Our third pup is our outside guardian livestock dog. We have four beautiful acres for lots of play and exercise. Most of the acreage is fenced, and our house is gated off. I am able to crate dogs if necessary, but am home most of the time so crating usually only at night time if applicable. They will be able to take as many potty breaks needed, get lots of play time, of course attention, and have access to water all day long (unless otherwise specified). Note* If they are not good with cats, that is not a problem as mine stays separated from any dogs beside my own.

I try and follow the normal schedule and routine you have for your pet. I have no problem crating your dog if needed but can let them free roam if that’s normal for them as well. I also try and keep them on the same feeding time. If your dog is used to walks in the morning or evening I try to accommodate that as well as the length of the walk.

Typically on the weekends I am free/flexible for any time, except the few times I’m out of town. Before letting pets out in fenced areas I double check gates are closed and latched before letting out. For any pets that are walked I ensure that they are leashed before heading out the door and do not take the leash off until inside with the door closed. I have an escape artist of myself at home so I know what to look for. I can easily place your pet in a crate before leaving if that is necessary.
