Personalized care for your dog or cat - Cairo

Highly-rated overnight sitters - Cairo
“Diana did an amazing job watching our Sadie girl! She seemed very happy to see us when we picked her up, but she was also very happy while she was there. She enjoyed playing with her young son and did quite well with the transition being picked up and back to her normal routine. She also only keeps one pet at a time which allows your pet to get 1one 1 attention. I think this is important especially for small dogs that have anxiety and nervous issues.”

“In a family medical emergency, this fantastic sitter worked with my chaotic situation in a calm and confident way. She understood their needs immediately, and provided me with regular updates on their care every day. It was a huge relief to know my senior dogs were safe with such an experienced sitter. She is my go to as our family will be alternating caregiving schedules for the next few months. Many sitters would not be as gentle of ‘hends on’ with my 2 seniors who have different health issues and separation anxiety. I didn’t have a single anxious moment. She is wonderful.”

“I CANNOT say enough about Amanda. This was my first time using Rover and I’m not sure how we lucked out, but leaving our Sophia with Amanda was like leaving her with family. She kept us updated the whole time with video, pictures and how her day was. She was in constant communication and even went above and beyond when our trip got delayed. I feel like we not only found a sitter for our puppy, but we found a friend. Thank you so much Amanda…WE APPRECIATE YOU!! ?”

“Kendell and Matthew were fantastic! They took such good care of my dog Bella. Bella got to spend so much time outside playing and also cuddling with the family inside. They really brought Bella in as their own for the time I needed to board her and they made sure to send pictures and videos throughout her stay with them. 10/10 will be using them again in the future!”

“Sarah is amazing! She has taken Kaiser in twice now while we’ve been out of town and he has such a good time and well taken cared of. She consistently provides updates and pictures which is really nice too. I would highly recommend Sarah for watching your pup!”

“Just got back from a week's vacation. Always a pleasure using Robert as our sitter. He's amazing as always! We received daily updates and pictures. I can tell from the pictures Hershey was quite happy. I highly recommend Bob as a dog sitter!”

“Jessica was an attentive and communicative host! I left my dog in her care and have no doubt she was treated as a family member. Jessica kept me updated about my dog's behaviors and eating habits while I was away and sent photos and updates regularly. She answered all my questions and happily gave me a tour of her home so I could see where my dog would be staying. I would be glad to have Jessica as a pet sitter again and will recommend her to others as well. Thanks for everything!”

“Victoria was absolutely incredible with Bailey over the Christmas and New Year’s break. Bailey has high anxiety, so leaving him is never easy — but Victoria truly made him feel at home. From the moment I saw the updates, I could tell he was having the time of his life. She went above and beyond by spending quality time with him, throwing the frisbee, giving him fun snacks, and making sure he felt loved and comfortable. The photos she shared were so thoughtful and reassuring — it was clear he wasn’t just being watched, he was being genuinely cared for and spoiled. What stood out most was how naturally she created a calm, happy environment for a dog who normally struggles with anxiety. That alone speaks volumes about her patience, attentiveness, and love for animals. Bailey came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Victoria is truly a gem, and I honestly feel she’s undervalued for the level of care she provides. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book with her again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their dog like family.”

“She was great! My pup needed a vet visit while staying with her and she not only took him but took care of my dog with unexpected health needs and kept me informed every step of the way! I know my dog is in great hands with her!”

“Nilanie is an absolute gem! She's sweet, patient, and so good with our cats. From our very first meeting, she made us feel completely comfortable leaving our babies in her care. Highly recommend her to any pet parent looking for someone trustworthy and caring.”

“Very nice person and easy to work with. Bucky loves going there and seems to get plenty of physical and mental stimulation. He comes home after being with Byron and just sleeps!”

“Reymun was responsive during the booking process, super friendly when we did the meet-and-greet, and took excellent care of our boy. He followed all our instructions and provided an update with pictures daily. Our dog is quite big, super strong, and has reactivity issues and Reymun was able to deal with all of that. Would absolutely book him again in the future”

“Yara and her family were so friendly and Oreo fit in well with her crew. She sent pics throughout the stay and kept us updated and was extremely responsive for dropoff and pickup.”

About: Hi! I'm Charli, and I've been caring for animals in both a professional and personal capacity for several years. I've worked as a bather, groomer, daycare, and veterinary clinic professional for over 5 years, and have experience with all of the following animals: dogs (all sizes), cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, fish, pigs, lizards, birds, & more! I most enjoy house sitting, dog walking, and daytime care, and I am able to travel to the further parts of the Tallahassee metro area upon request. For overnight animal guest needs, I have a home in the Astoria Park area of Tallahassee with a big fenced back yard and 5 animals of my own (2 cats, 2 dogs, and 1 ferret). All of our animals are great with other pets and love to meet new friends. If needed, we can also set up a room your pet can have all to themselves. Pet care is my everyday priority! My fiancée works full time from home, allowing me to devote my time to giving our pets and others' pets the care and attention they need (and deserve). I take pet care very seriously and am very attuned to animals' body language. As a veterinary worker, I have been trained to handle any situation in a calm and collected manner. Additionally, I like to ensure proper nutrition, adequate play time and potty breaks, and down time/quiet time when pets are feeling overwhelmed.

About: Hello! I am a teacher looking to love on animals and make some money to help pay for my wedding! I have cared for many kinds of animals/homes over the years and pride myself on building close bonds with dogs and owners alike! As a pet parent to 2 dogs and 3 cats, I know how important it is to be able to leave your fur babies with someone you can trust. My former teachers, neighbors, and family members have all entrusted me with their dearest pets with satisfaction guaranteed! “I have a senior dog with special needs. Kate asked intelligent appropriate questions to evaluate if she and Matthew would be a good fit to ensure my dog was not a risk to himself, their home, or other dogs, and how to best meet his needs by understanding his behaviors. Once we agreed to a trial day care day. I was impressed with the care provided and my dog was very comfortable and happy being there. Kate sent photos and updates and was quickly responsive to my questions. Their dogs and teens are good companions to the client dogs, the house is dog-friendly in comfort and safety with all non-chewable temptations stowed away, and their spacious fenced yard provides stimulation and exercise. With a dog-friendly pool, they are hitting the pet resort level for my Boykin! They have earned our trust and respect as dog care providers, and we are grateful to have found them!”

“Reymun was great! He was there for us when we had a last minute request and was so quick to communicate. He sent us updates during the day and some cute pictures of peaches spending time outside. We won’t hesistate to reach out to Reymun again or recommend him to others!”

“Aylee was absolutely wonderful with Peaches! She accommodated us on very short notice, which we really appreciated, and she was incredibly communicative and friendly throughout the entire stay. We felt confident right away that Peaches was in great hands. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was being so well cared for. We would recommend Aylee to anyone and are already looking forward to bringing Peaches back in the future!”

Please feel free to ask me any questions and I look forward to meeting ... As summer is almost upon us, I know many of you are planning vacations. About: I trained canine assistance dogs for 9 months and have over 25 years of experience. I’m very good with all types and personalities when it comes to our furry companions Working on switching my career path right now since there is a shift to corporate medicine in animal hospitals and as support staff I lost the feeling of being supported, or properly compensated myself. I recently started watching my neice from 6-4 Monday through Friday. Sometimes I will do delivery driving at night, but only if that is ok with you! I also have my medical marijuana card. Despite that review that says I agreed not to, I have never negotiated this. I’m an anxious, insomniac with cyclical vomiting syndrome. Some days I would not be ok without it🥺 I apologize if that does not work for anybody, but one must take care of themselves before they can care for others. This actually isn’t lucrative enough with my schedule. I ONLY do this because animals are my passion!!! Feel free to ask me any questions at all! I really am an open book! I have a 3/3 townhouse set up with lots of room for walks. Unfortunately there is no fence, but it is a very pet friendly environment.

“I was traveling and needed to someone for my furbaby to stay while we were out and about. I felt very comfortable leaving my furbaby Clyde with Sarah. Nice home with fenced yard and very sweet pooch of her own. Would definitely book again.”

About: About My Experience I have spent my entire life surrounded by animals, raising and caring for a wide variety of species. I don't just love pets—I understand their unique behaviors, diets, and routines. From energetic dogs to sensitive exotic animals, I treat every pet in my care with the same patience and love I give my own. Dogs & Cats: Lifetime experience with various breeds, tempers, and energy levels. Why Choose Me? Because of my diverse background, I am uniquely equipped to handle multi-pet households. If you have a dog and a tank full of fish, or a cat and a rabbit, you don't need to hire two different sitters. I am detail-oriented, highly reliable, and comfortable following strict feeding, medication, or habitat instructions to keep your pets safe, happy, and thriving while you are away! I am pretty flexible. I am a football coach at Colquitt County so I’m usually there from 8AM - 12PM but I’m free most of the rest of the day so I’m happy to pop in and check on your babies when you’re away for long hours. I have a fenced in yard at my home. I’m super careful with my pets and I always walk the dogs on leashes. I don’t let them roam and I’m respectful of other people and animals.

“I’m so grateful for Kelly! She’s helped me out twice in a last-minute pinch and was incredibly reliable, responsive, and kind. Lucy was well cared for and happy, and I had total peace of mind. Highly recommend!”

About: I love all animals and have experience with animals with minor medical needs (ie. pills, shots, creams, etc). I have 2 dogs and am a 4x foster with LCHS with three of them being medical foster puppies. I also have 6 cats who have all come from different situations and back rounds. I excel at following your pets schedule and needs. I commonly house sit for a 100+ lb dog and am more than willing to watch your dog at my home as long as they are good with other dogs and cats. I work a full time job M-F but am able to do lunchtime potty breaks. If you are interested in booking over weekdays it would be best that your fur baby can be alone for 4 hour increments. If your pet is people/pet friendly and you approve I am able to bring dogs to my office space. We do not have a fenced yard but live in a very walkable area. Our dogs are crate trained and we have no problem crating your fur baby or leaving them out per your preference.

About: I am new to the business of dog walking and dog sitting, but I have been around dogs the majority of my life. Growing up my family had three dogs, and currently I have a seven year old rescue dog, named Arya, whom I had adopted in 2019. I have lived in Tallahassee for almost 8 years now, so I am very familiar with the area. Looking forward to this experience! While I used to be employed as a TA at FSU when I was a graduate student, I am currently unemployed and searching for research positions as a biologist. My days consist currently of job applications, so I hace a flexible schedule. My own dog is a mutt, mixed with pitbull and Rottweiler, so I know there is no such thing as "a bad breed." I will treat all dogs with the same love and care.

About: I’ve grown up with pets all my life. I’ve taken care of friends and neighbors pets for many years! All types of animals as well. I have taken care of high energy dogs like Huskies, and Belgian Malinois. I also have grown up with dogs that can be aggressive and dogs with anxiety. I can administer medication, take them for long walks and play with them thoroughly. I’m working full time but a flexible schedule. I’m usually working mid day with an hour break. And I can adjust my schedule with notice in advance to work around your pets needs. I will gladly play with your pets in a backyard, take them for long walks, play with them inside etc. My pets are like my kids and I will treat yours as such!

“This was our first time to ever leave our dog for more than a day so we were worried how he would adjust. However, it went splendidly with Zai and her family! She eased my worries with photos of Fraser happily hanging with them and Zai gave me regular updates. It is comforting to know we have a second home for him so maybe we will travel more!”

“Was our first time away from our dog and I must say I felt at ease leaving him in her care and while I was away. She kept me updated on how he was doing. If you book with Mrs. Angela your fur baby will be well taken care of. I will definitely be booking with her again.”

I am currently grieving the loss of my dog of 11 and a half years, she lost a battle to pneumonia. I will make sure your pet gets much love and attention. I have a large fenced in yard with much room to play fetch or just let your dog run wild. I never leave any animal (even my own dog) outside by themselves. Coming to your home, I will make sure your pet is as comfy as can be without you there. I would love to go over your expectations for your pet care prior to the visit.
