“We had to be away for 7 hours and we needed someone to watch our lab pup. I was worried at first, but after meeting Samantha, we were relieved how amazing she was with our pup. Our pup is a little shy meeting new dogs and needs more socialization. Samantha picked up our pup and her experience allowed her to introduced them slowly and correctly. We could tell by the pics we received, that after a couple of hours, my pup and her dog (lady) were playing and sleeping together so well. Both Samantha and her dog were sweet and playful with my pup. Buy the time I got back and she dropped my pup off, she passed out with all the energy she burned to day. About: Hi! I’m a psychology major at Augusta University and currently work as an RBT supporting autistic children, which has made me patient, attentive, and very comfortable building trust through positive reinforcement. I’ve loved dogs my entire life, especially after owning and training my German Shepherd for 8 years, and I now have a puppy of my own who keeps me enjoying daily walks, park time, and training every day. (For boarding, she would stay with my family so your pet would have my full attention and a calm space.) I especially like working on basic positive reinforcement with treats or a clicker when wanted. I love petting and getting to know every dog I see, so any chance to spend time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy. I have open availability! Sometimes I may have an appointment or time commitment, but generally I am free throughout the week. I don’t have any scheduling or preference issues with overnight, extended, or evening hours either. I live in a townhome with a fenced patio. The patio has dirt/grass for going potty, a concrete center, and a backdoor that opens to a walking path. I have two floors with the bottom floor being hardwood (accident friendly!). For crate-preferred pets I have a 48in kennel (deep cleaned before and after use), or if crate-averse there is a guest bedroom that would be situated. I bring my own doggy bags and leash, but can use whatever is preferred. If desired I also have Buddy Trainers mini training treats that can be used for positively reinforcing your pet. My default approach is to focus primarily on your pet’s comfort rather than training, with the option of passive training being added into that approach. If boarding, I could take your pet on walks around the very dog-pro community where there are consistently opportunities to socialize, explore, and play in the paths available. Also with boarding my puppy would not share the space and would be at my family’s throughout your pet’s stay. Regardless of whether your pet is boarding at my home or if sitting at your’s, I have no problem deep (and properly) cleaning any accidents that come up. My approach with all pets, especially dogs, is positive reinforcement through doing things they enjoy. I try to set your pet up for success by matching their energy and minimizing any reason to feel anxious, sized up, or uncomfortable in general.

About: I grew up with pitbulls, blue heelers, and cats. I currently have two fur babies named Theodore and Jax (who are living a 5 star luxury life 🐾). My friends reach out to me if they need help with caring for their doggies. I’m trustworthy and will respect your instructions! I will not do anything or give anything to your pup unless it’s specifically stated beforehand or I ask you first. I do not have children so it’s easy for me to be flexible in caring for your baby! I will provide loving care, and most of all, keep you updated and send plenty of photos to give you the reassurance that your pup is safe and cared for. I LOVE plants, so if there’s any plants you need watered while you’re away, I’d happily do so! I currently do not work. I mostly tend to my fur babies or my garden most days. I am doing college online but it is very flexible. My schedule is pretty flexible! Unfortunately, I cannot take care of animals in my home. We are renting and our lease states we have to have prior approval and charge a fee if another animal will be residing with us. My corgi (Theodore) is a bit of an introvert as well and does not enjoy other animals (other than Jax) in his space. I am able to drive and take care of your pet in your home! I don’t mind taking multiple trips if that will put you at ease about your pet!

About: Making sure fur babies are comfortable is such an important thing to me. Pets have ALWAYS been such a big part of my life, I can’t remember a time in life when I didn’t have a loved fur companion. I love all kinds, and as long as they are friendly I do not mind helping out the owners because I know how pricey it can be else where. I have two cats cat who are more like my children and their needs are always taken care of. Taking care and being around pets is more of a stress reliever then a job or a task. I hope you will trust that I will be a great pick for you and your fur baby! I work full time, but I work from home so I am very flexible when it comes to breaks to be able to leave and bring my work with me if needed! I don’t have a fenced yard but I live next to a big neighborhood that has shaded trails and a park! I don’t mind getting out there and walking them. I bring my own doggy bags and leash, but can use whatever is preferred. If desired I also have Buddy Trainers mini training treats that can be used for positively reinforcing your pet. My default approach is to focus primarily on your pet’s comfort rather than training, with the option of passive training being added into that approach. If boarding, I could take your pet on walks around the very dog-pro community where there are consistently opportunities to socialize, explore, and play in the paths available. Also with boarding my puppy would not share the space and would be at my family’s throughout your pet’s stay. Regardless of whether your pet is boarding at my home or if sitting at your’s, I have no problem deep (and properly) cleaning any accidents that come up. My approach with all pets, especially dogs, is positive reinforcement through doing things they enjoy. I try to set your pet up for success by matching their energy and minimizing any reason to feel anxious, sized up, or uncomfortable in general.

During each visit I make sure pets have fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, and plenty of attention based on their personality and comfort level. I’m also careful about keeping doors secure, monitoring their wellbeing, and making sure the home environment stays safe and calm. Pet parents can expect reliable communication and updates so they always know their pets are happy and well cared for.

About: I’ve been raised with many pets, and started caring for others than my own a few years ago. I’ve looked after senior animals, babies, and all in between! I’ll be your pets favorite human (until you get back)! I’m currently home from college for the summer and have a free schedule! I have my own car and am free all day for check-ins, play time, and walks! I also have experience with overnight care as well! I’ve pet-sit and house-sat for many satisfied families in the past, and follow any instructions given!
