“This was our first time to use Dorothy K. She bonded very quickly with our 12 year old (very shy with strangers) cat. She came for a get acquainted visit to see where things were and to go over when and how much we feed our kitty. She left the feeding area and cat box spotless. She brought in packages for us. She even held on to our house key until we confirmed our arrival home. She does this in case she should need to extend her care due to travel delays. She sent us many pictures of our buddy and she was in frequent contact. We could not be more pleased with the care she provided for our kitty!! We will certainly be booking her in the future!”

About: Like most dog sitters, I’m a dog lover! I love dogs off all sizes and breeds, and I even grew up in a dog breeding family. At one point, I shared my home with 32 blue nose pit bulls from days old to senior citizen status. Needless to say, I’m comfortable around dogs and don’t mind being out numbered by four legged cuties. But at this time I am only accepting dogs under 30lbs. I’m comfortable providing medicine, simple training, and sticking to a routine if that’s what your dog needs. I work full time Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, while I am away your pup will have access to the outdoors (via a small doggie door) for potty breaks, plenty of toys, water, and comfy beds. I usually start every morning with letting the dogs out into the backyard and making sure they potty before I go to work, they will bed fed, get some love, and very light play/exercise before I leave. Depending on your dog, I may leave them out, crate them, or use a baby gate to restrict their access a bit but that is on a case by case basis. In the afternoon I take the dogs on a long walk around the neighborhood and surrounding area, play with them and usually provide some kind of enrichment—whether that be puzzles, toys, or running in the backyard. They will be fed according to their schedule after that and for the rest of the day we will lounge and hangout until bedtime around 10pm. Dogs are welcome to sleep in the bed, in the couches, or in their crates —whatever is best for their comfort and safety. On the weekends I usually take at least one trip to the greenway for a long more interesting walk and maybe a trip to Home Depot or Petsmart. Weekday pick up/drop off window: 3:30pm to 8pm Weekend pick up/drop off window: 8am to 8pm If you need to drop your pet off earlier or pick them up later, please add an extra day to your reservation. Like I stated before, at the moment I am only taking small to medium dogs to ensure the safety and comfort of not only my small 13lbs dog, but your small pups as well. I know the big pups are sweet and I love them too, but some little dogs are easily intimidated or uncomfortable and I don’t want anyone to get hurt. So please if your dog is over 30lbs, please search for another sitter. I can provide recommendations or possible alternatives in the event of an emergency. We would love to have your dogs here with us well-taken care of while you are away! Tessa is a stay-at-home mom who occasionally babysits or subs at school. About: I have always had at least two dogs in the house, everything from Golden Retrievers to Great Danes. I have also been dogsitting for friends for the past few years, including walking, feeding, and playing around with them for days at a time. I am a sophomore college student, so I am happy to watch dogs around my class schedule. Currently, I am taking classes Monday - Friday morning, but I am fully available on the weekends and in the afternoons after class. While I am there, I normally let the dogs out and play around for a little while, or take them for a walk. I will make sure any messes they make are clean, and that they have a clean and tidy area. I fill up their water, feed them, and give them any medications or treats they may need. I am happy to do anything you need me to do for your fur baby! I currently have a cat named Scarlett who likes to play fetch..a kitty named Watson who was feral and we have convinced that life with us is way better than life on the streets..Miles..who is true orange boy and a FIP survivor. I also have a pup named Marley that wandered into our yard 11 years ago and won us over with his kisses and snuggles under the blankets. Can’t wait to work with you and your family! I can work around a vast amount of drop in schedules to make what you need happen! I am off every weekend and every other Friday. Typically off by 5pm every day. But like I said- I can be flexible. I do have a fenced in back yard (privacy fence). I have a few different rooms within my house and can be flexible on the care that you want for your baby

“My dogs had a great time with Joshua! I got lots of photos and updates. You could see how happy they were in the pics. He took great care of my 5 month old puppy and administered her medicine. So I'd definitely recommend him for your puppies and older dogs. They got lots of playtime outside but they were also kept inside with people and other dogs so they were not left lonely. Socializing is very important to me as my dogs are inside dogs and used to being with people. It was a great experience for us and we will definitely book again.”

Our puppy is only 5 months old, so naturally we were nervous leaving her with someone else for the first time while we had to be out of town for an unfortunate family loss, but Emily and her family made our worries disappear. We were kindly greeted and treated with updates and pictures throughout our pup's stay. It was easy to see that she takes pride in providing a home experience for our pup, one that left ours worn out from playing when we picked her up!
