About: I’ve had several cats and dogs (too many at times), both inside and outside, as I was growing up and was responsible for taking care of them. My neighbors have always been able to rely on me to take care of their pets, even farm animals at times, while they were away for hours, days, even weeks at a time. I was often tasked with feeding, walking, playing around with and keeping company of their pets! I love being around pets and am the perfect person to take care of yours!! I’m currently working a part time job and and am a part time student in the mornings/early afternoon. About: Ive had a gray and white tabby cat for about 4 years and he was a very easy and simple cat to take care of. I would brush him at least once a week if he let me. As well as change his litter box every 1-2 weeks. The reason for that is that he was sometimes an outside cat and would refuse to come in during the cold.

About: I have had dogs since 2013. I had three, I currently have two. One of them had epilepsy, this gave me experience with seizures and administering medicine. I also worked at a doggy day care for 1 year, there I cared for large groups of dogs. We fed them, changed out water 4-5 times a day, picked up after them and played with them. Benji is bathed and brushed weekly, food and water is available whenever he is hungry, he is given one bacon treat every night and playtime is roughly 30-60mins a day depending on the age, stamina, and energetic needs of the dog.

About: Hi! I’m a psychology major at Augusta University and currently work as an RBT supporting autistic children, which has made me patient, attentive, and very comfortable building trust through positive reinforcement. I’ve loved dogs my entire life, especially after owning and training my German Shepherd for 8 years, and I now have a puppy of my own who keeps me enjoying daily walks, park time, and training every day. (For boarding, she would stay with my family so your pet would have my full attention and a calm space.) I especially like working on basic positive reinforcement with treats or a clicker when wanted. I love petting and getting to know every dog I see, so any chance to spend time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy. I have open availability! Sometimes I may have an appointment or time commitment, but generally I am free throughout the week. I don’t have any scheduling or preference issues with overnight, extended, or evening hours either. I live in a townhome with a fenced patio. The patio has dirt/grass for going potty, a concrete center, and a backdoor that opens to a walking path. I have two floors with the bottom floor being hardwood (accident friendly!). For crate-preferred pets I have a 48in kennel (deep cleaned before and after use), or if crate-averse there is a guest bedroom that would be situated. I bring my own doggy bags and leash, but can use whatever is preferred. If desired I also have Buddy Trainers mini training treats that can be used for positively reinforcing your pet. My default approach is to focus primarily on your pet’s comfort rather than training, with the option of passive training being added into that approach. If boarding, I could take your pet on walks around the very dog-pro community where there are consistently opportunities to socialize, explore, and play in the paths available. Also with boarding my puppy would not share the space and would be at my family’s throughout your pet’s stay. Regardless of whether your pet is boarding at my home or if sitting at your’s, I have no problem deep (and properly) cleaning any accidents that come up. My approach with all pets, especially dogs, is positive reinforcement through doing things they enjoy. I try to set your pet up for success by matching their energy and minimizing any reason to feel anxious, sized up, or uncomfortable in general.
“Steve took care of our goldendoodle, Sully, for four days, and we truly could not have asked for a better experience. From the start, he was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. The biggest comfort for me was knowing Sully wasn’t cooped up in a kennel while we were away — he was in a loving, attentive environment where he was treated like family. Steve clearly takes pride in what he does, and it shows in the way he cares for the dogs entrusted to him. My heart was completely at ease the entire time, which says everything.
