About: As a lover of all creatures great and small and the owner of many myself I know how hard it can be to be away from your pets. I have experience with medicating pets as I’ve had several geriatric animals myself and I will send updates regularly. I am at home full time and spend most of my time with my animals. I know how to spot signs of anxiety or distress in dogs and how to respond to that behavior. I’m patient and loving, but I can be stern when need be. I am a student in college, and I work part time at an assisted living facility. Other than the days I’m at work, I’m basically free! We were visiting in the Blue Ridge area and had activities planned for two days that would not allow us to bring our pet along. Esmeralda's home was a peaceful retreat in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Our little morkie gets overwhelmed and stressed at boarding facilities. But she was happy and playful when I picked her up each day. Esmeralda sent updates and photos both days and was genuinely happy to see Molly each morning. Guest dogs will receive 2- 4 walks per day. Upon customer review I've decided to include an exit bath if my guest becomes heavily soiled during their stay. I enjoy spending quality time with my pets and guest pets. I have two pet friendly dogs and monitor the behavior of the guest pets on an individual basis. If the dogs have chemistry I allow them to play together. If not I give them individual areas to relax. Pets are crated if I have to leave the home. If you have any other questions please contact me. I currently have a very flexible schedule and can do drop in visits easily throughout the day as needed or in home care for your pet. I have a bottom floor condo with an unfenced yard. I take my own dog out leashed throughout the day. There’s a bigger yard area for your pet to exercise while leashed, plenty of woods to sniff along, and lots of fun routes for walks throughout the neighborhood.
About: I have plenty of experience with handling and caring for animals as I have 3 dogs, 8 cats, 4 turtles, 4 frogs, and 2 lizards. I grew up with animals and have volunteered at animal shelters and worked at an animal care hospital as a kennel tech. I'd love to open my care to other people's pets as it's something I'm pretty comfortable and trained in doing. I've had pets my entire life and have a pretty strong passion about animals and can care for any range of breeds or size without issue. I'm very flexible with scheduling and timing as I have a lot of free time and can do pretty much any timing required even most last minutes if needed. Im open to all the services for pet care on here and really do make it my priority for who's pet I'm caring for. I do have a baby that i need to take with me most places but i can babywear him or figure out something that works if comforable! I recently left my full time job job to have more time for my hobbies and side jobs that i much prefer. I can be home all day if need be, and when boarding I do keep my pets separate in the lower portion of the house unless I'm supervising so all pets feel secure and comfortable. I have a fenced yard and a deck that leads out from the living room. I ask that requests be for non destructive dogs as i did board two unbehaved dogs last year that tore into furniture, so please no requests if the pet has a history of being destructive! I let your pet warm up to my home first and make sure to follow the specific care needed per each pet according to the owner's directions.
About: I got my dog when I was 13 (I’m now 22). I trained him by myself when he was a puppy, and everyone he meets says he’s very well behaved. I know how to spot signs of anxiety or distress in dogs and how to respond to that behavior. I’m patient and loving, but I can be stern when need be. I am a student in college, and I work part time at an assisted living facility. Other than the days I’m at work, I’m basically free! I’ll make sure to locate the resources needed to care for your dog (crate, locks, toys, food, leash, harness, etc) as soon as I get to your home. I’ll spend 100% of my time in the company of your dog- they wouldn’t leave my sight. I’ll make sure to follow any guidelines about what your dog should/should not do. About: I have always grown up with dogs who we train as puppies. Because of this, I haver become known in my community as a pet person. About: I’ve grown up with a shitzu so I would always look out for her cause she was apart of the family, I see them like family & especially since they can’t speak I always make sure they have what they need food, water & some treats! I have a medium dog now that my shitzu passed away. They are amazing and are the best on the planet. About: As a lover of all creatures great and small and the owner of many myself I know how hard it can be to be away from your pets. I have experience with medicating pets as I’ve had several geriatric animals myself and I will send updates regularly. I am at home full time and spend most of my time with my animals.
