Highly-rated overnight sitters - Audubon
“I like to brag on people who are good at what they do. I was extremely pleased with Max's 5 night stay with Angie L. She greeted him at my vehicle and he was immediately comfortable with her. She asked pertinent questions about any special needs or peculiar habits. Angie provided an aupdate each day to assure me that was was doing well. I give her my highest rating!”

“Monika is truly great! She is flexible and has helped us out last minute with changes in our plans. We’ve used her services several times already and will definitely book again. Our dogs come home happy and peaceful - such a difference from when they are at the kennel. We have 2 smaller dogs that aren’t exceptional with other dogs, and her larger dogs are sweet and gentle with them. Coming back there a second time they got so excited and were ready for playtime! Monika’s a good communicator, sending little pics and videos of the pups while we are gone. I highly recommend her services.”

“What an absolute gem of a family! Marshall was so well taken care of and happy. They took time to provide us daily updates. There is nothing better than knowing you have left your pup in caring hands while you are away and they check this box.”

“Omg I’m on love with Jackie , she is amazing. She took such good care of coco bean and sends me pictures of my baby and is so patient with her. Love love love her .”

“Excellent boarding for our giant dogs! Just what we needed. No stress, no worry, great communication. We will definitely be using time and again. Thanks for an effortless service!”

“One of our best Rover experiences. From the initial meetup through pickup, we felt completely at ease and confident our dog was in great hands. Communication was excellent, and it was clear our dog was well cared for and happy. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend.”

“Max had a great time at Pats place. Her place is very organized and she made sure Max was comfortable with meet and greets of the other dogs that would be with him during his stay. We were coming in from out of town and her communication always prompt and friendly. I highly recommend Pat and would use her again if ever back in that area.”

“We had a family emergency come up close to the weekend and Sonia was very responsive and able to accommodate a late booking. I was nervous about leaving our pup for the first time but her reviews and experience made us feel at ease. Would definitely reach out again!”

“Cristina is literally the best! We left maple for over a week to go on family vacation and she really made me so comfortable the whole time. We will continue to use her for future services. Maple loves her!!!!”

“Great job! I couldn’t ask for a better care for our so much loved Natasha. She’s a bulldog and when we board her, she tends to be shy, but not with Thomas she warmed right up to him right away. Love the daily photos while we were out of town she looks so spoiled, we have used him two times in one month and will use him again and again. Thank you Thomas!”

“Our 2 pups loved Lena and her beautiful home! They have secretly been barking to us that they want to go back and play some more with Lena and her cute little dogs. She is honest and caring and efficient! She will love your dogs the whole time you’re away and is terrific about sending daily photos! Highly recommend! A+++++ ??”

“Ashley was truly one of the greatest! She asked tons of questions about my two dogs Bella & Kobe (Shiba Inu & German Shepherd) and her home has a perfect setup for dogs to get tons of play time and exercise! She also kept me updated with videos throughout their weekend stay. My dogs will definitely be staying with Ashley again & yours should too!!”

“Great pet sitter! Victoria is super friendly and she had my furry babies super spoiled the whole time. She sent photos and videos and I could see how Happy my doggies were. She has two dogs of her own and they are also super friendly and nice with other dogs.”

“Just wanted to get on here and say I highly recommend Reyna and her husband, our story is a bit different, you see we have, my husband and I , a cane corso mix with pit male dog Moses. . He’s my baby and my what our kids call my empty nester dog lol. He follows me everywhere and he’s the biggest cuddle bug, he sleeps at my feet you get the point…he’s my baby. So when we decided to take our adult kids and grandkids to Tybee Island for the week, we started looking at where to board him since he’s never been on a trip that far away and the house we had rented had a policy on bully, big dog breeds. We had boarded him before, with a different company, 2 times before. The second time though when we picked him up he was acting very skittish, he was cowed down, his nails were jagged and the lady at the desk said he had had diarrhea, which they never told me when I called for a update. Needless to say I was upset and so when looking for a boarder this time we were very cautious, and concerned. I read all the reviews on Reyna on Rover and I told my husband I like this one. We met with Reyna and her husband and Moses done so good, he ran the yard, played fetch , met their other dog and seemed so content. They went over how they hade separate sections for the dogs to play in, the kennels, we felt so good bout them. Dec 26 we ended up running late to drop off Moses before our trip so all the other dogs that they were boarding was outside, but Moses got anxious bout all the barking, Reyna and her husband took Moses into the kennel and assured us that they would bring him out, after getting all the other dogs back in, to acclimate him. Bring out several dogs at a time. They said they would update us. So after talking to them a bit and feeling better about leaving him, we drove back to Blue Ridge. Reyna ended up calling me a couple hours later and asked how to get Moses back in the house, that he was nervous, and anxious and he wouldn’t come to her. She had tried for over 30 minutes before she called me. I told her some stuff to try, when I called back she said it wasn’t working that he was just very scared acting. She also had I think it was her sister that’s a trainer, trying to get him to come to them, they sit in the ground with him, she told me that she knew someone that could come by our house to check on him but I didn’t wanna leave him at our house that long. So I called our vacation rental company explained what was going on, thankfully they made an exception with a bigger pet deposit and I told Reyna just to leave him alone and we were on our way to get him. When we pulled up, he came running up to us, Reyna said he was a different dog when we got there, he sit while they petted him, and put his leash on, the kids were petting him. She and her sister kept apologizing and saying they tried everything to get him to come to them but he just kept running away and running around. I am super grateful that she called me instead of just putting him in the kennel and leaving him there. She was genuinely worried bout him instead of just making money off of him and for that we do recommend her and her husband for boarding. Her husband called to check up on us and Moses the next day, and he apologized that Moses wasn’t able to stay and how they tried so hard to get him acclimated. I said it was all good, that Im glad they called me. That meant so much to us that they cared so much. He’s my baby and I wouldn’t want him to be miserable. So Moses got to go on a beach vacation, he did amazing on the ride down and back and he made new friends wherever we went while we were there.”

“This sitter was great. Perfect property for my dog as he is not used to being confined indoors all day aside from a few walks. He lives to run and chase squirrels! Dawn has a perfect friend for him there as well 'Dexter' which got along great with my boy. Great communicator, punctual, and even gave me doggie art with his paw print on canvass for me! Highly recommended! PJP”

“Wynema and family were great. We did an overnight before a longer trip so everyone could meet and make sure keeping our high energy 8mo old puppy was a good fit for all and it was. I’m totally comfortable leaving her for a longer period.”

“Shawna was great! After a bad experience with a kennel, we decided to try an in house sitter. From allowing a meet and greet with them before the actual stay to sending pictures and videos every day with updates about how Bella was doing. The dog we picked up was happy, excited and well cared for. We've already rebooked with Shawna for another stay.”

“It was evident when we first met her, JaNiya is an animal lover. She’s knowledgeable about animals and their needs. She was patient with our scaredy cat and let her slowly get used to the new human in the house. JaNiya is very kind and she was respectful of our home. We will definitely request her to housesit/cat sit for us again.”

About: I have plenty of experience with handling and caring for animals as I have 3 dogs, 8 cats, 4 turtles, 4 frogs, and 2 lizards. I grew up with animals and have volunteered at animal shelters and worked at an animal care hospital as a kennel tech. I'd love to open my care to other people's pets as it's something I'm pretty comfortable and trained in doing. I've had pets my entire life and have a pretty strong passion about animals and can care for any range of breeds or size without issue. I'm very flexible with scheduling and timing as I have a lot of free time and can do pretty much any timing required even most last minutes if needed. Im open to all the services for pet care on here and really do make it my priority for who's pet I'm caring for. I do have a baby that i need to take with me most places but i can babywear him or figure out something that works if comforable! I recently left my full time job job to have more time for my hobbies and side jobs that i much prefer. I can be home all day if need be, and when boarding I do keep my pets separate in the lower portion of the house unless I'm supervising so all pets feel secure and comfortable. I have a fenced yard and a deck that leads out from the living room. I ask that requests be for non destructive dogs as i did board two unbehaved dogs last year that tore into furniture, so please no requests if the pet has a history of being destructive! I let your pet warm up to my home first and make sure to follow the specific care needed per each pet according to the owner's directions.

“Max enjoyed his time with Lena. She was very attentive to him and provided him with great care during his visit. This was his first time away from his family, so her kindness was very important. Max made a new friend with Lena's Yorkie, Freddie. Lena sent us a very nice photo of the two new friends. We will definitely contact Lena for future visits to that area. Thank you very much, Lena!”

“Jackie was wonderful with Toby! She gave him so much love and care, and he came home happy and well taken care of. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in good hands. Highly recommend her!”

“Esmeralda offered the perfect day care experience for our little morkie, Molly. We were visiting in the Blue Ridge area and had activities planned for two days that would not allow us to bring our pet along. Esmeralda's home was a peaceful retreat in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Our little morkie gets overwhelmed and stressed at boarding facilities. But she was happy and playful when I picked her up each day. Esmeralda sent updates and photos both days and was genuinely happy to see Molly each morning. We will definitely use Esmeralda again when we travel to the Blue Ridge area. We highly recommend her!”

“Ashley was simply great! Our pups loved her and her home! We were very impressed by her, the environment and how well the pups took to her. She was very warm towards our dogs and just gave them free reign of her home as if the dogs had been going there forever... we will definitely take use her again!”

About: I’ve always had dogs at home, up to three at once! Most all raised and trained from puppy stages. I had a disabled dog recently who lost usage of her back legs and was incompetent. She required lots of help and being carried around but was a sweetheart. Currently I have eight geckos as well as two snakes, a skink, two cats (mostly outdoor) and one dog. My dogs name is Luna, she’s almost two years old, deaf and mentally special but as friendly as can be! (Several rooms for separation of my dog if needed as well as my crate. So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. I do not have a fence but I have a large pasture as well as lots of leads. I’m willing to walk for hours with your pet on a leash! I have one friendly pup to keep yours company and I have a spare room. I have the ability to crate my dog and space for a crate for yours if provided. We go out after every food and water break, get lots of cuddles and extra play time!
About: Hi, I’m Maggie! I’ve had dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. I have lived on a farm surrounded by dogs, horses, and cats, which gave me years of hands on experience caring for animals of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. After losing my beloved German Shepherd, I began fostering others through rescues. A journey that’s been both healing and incredibly rewarding. It’s deepened my understanding of different temperaments, training needs, and the importance of patience, structure, and gentle consistency. Whether I’m boarding, house sitting, or stopping in for a visit, I focus on creating a calm, loving environment where every pet feels safe and cared for like family. I treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I am currently working almost full time. I can spend evenings with your dog. I am usually gone around 6-8 hours a day at most. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I would only take outside on leash. I have a cat. I can keep the cat separated if needed.

“Sonia was great! From the last minute booking with the early drop offs and the later pick ups. Maverick had a great time and seemed sad to leave both days. I was updated throughout the day with text messages and pictures. Will definitely use her more and recommend her to anyone I know.”

“Superior experience! ..and communication. Plenty of area to explore and run, much better than a dog park, and typical kennel daycare/boarding. Rhett was pooped out! Highly recommended.”

“Cooper loves daycare with Reyna and her family! Their large fenced-in yard gives him plenty of space to run and play with their sweet puppy, Maple. He loved being part of their family for the day! Reyna sent me great pictures of him zooming around the yard and relaxing near the boys while they worked on school. He came home happy, tired, and ready for a nap! We’ll definitely be coming back!”

I can't wait to meet your pets! I am looking to take care of pets during the summer and school breaks due to my teaching schedule. She started with plants and birds, and now 20 years later, can work with any animal, including ones that require bottle feedings, complex medication schedules, or homestays up to 2 weeks. Farm animals too! Chickens, ducks, and goats! She was a camp counselor for 3 summers and also conducted a work exchange at a homestead farm for 1 summer. She successfully worked for Trusted Housesitters but has switched to Rover for more local opportunities. I work remotely part-time and have a flexible schedule that can meet all of your pet's individual needs. 24/7 care and attention for your animal! I understand your home is your sanctuary, and I aim to leave it as if I was never there. All poops are bagged up and properly disposed of immediately. All water drops or pee piddles are cleaned up with pet-safe sanitation spray. The door locks are always double checked upon departure. I send pictures of your pets happy and healthy during every visit.
About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is the genuine love, patience, and attention I give to every pet in my care. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your furry family member, and I do my best to make both pets and owners feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I treat every animal like they are my own, paying close attention to their routine, personality, and individual needs. I am comfortable caring for pets in all stages of life, from young pets who need extra guidance, consistency, and play, to senior pets who may need a gentler approach, more patience, and a little extra support. I can help reinforce routines, provide loving companionship, and make sure your pet feels calm and secure while you are away. More than anything, I want pets to feel loved and at ease in my care. I am dependable, attentive, and kind, and I always want owners to have peace of mind knowing their pet is being cared for with real heart. Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine because I only work two days a week at the hospital, which gives me plenty of flexibility and availability to provide dependable care. On my days off, I have the time and energy to focus on walks, drop in visits, playtime, feedings, and giving pets the attention they need. I enjoy having a structured routine, so making time for pet care comes naturally to me. I understand how important consistency is for animals, and I make it a priority to keep them comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. Spending time with pets is something I truly enjoy, so it feels like a rewarding part of my week. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities when caring for pets in my home or in their own home. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs so they feel safe, secure, and comfortable while in my care. I always follow feeding schedules, potty breaks, walk routines, medication instructions, and any special requests closely. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and loving environment where pets can relax, play, and receive plenty of attention. I make sure the space is safe and supervised so they feel at ease. In their own home, I know pets are often most comfortable in a familiar space, so I do everything I can to keep their normal routine consistent. I treat every client’s home with respect, keep things tidy, and make sure their pet feels loved and cared for while their family is away. My goal is always to make both pets and owners feel confident, comfortable, and at peace.

“Wynema and family were great. We did an overnight before a longer trip so everyone could meet and make sure keeping our high energy 8mo old puppy was a good fit for all and it was. I’m totally comfortable leaving her for a longer period.”

“Julie was the best! I wasn't sure how our dog would be with a stranger in a strange location because she is a very skittish rescue. Our dog accepted Julie right away and was very comfortable and made herself right at home. Julie sent pictures every day and I'm not sure our dog even missed us! We definitely will use Julie again if we need her!”

About: I’ve had many years of experience with pets of all sizes! I’ve done dog walking, drop in visits, overnight in home boarding, and am experienced in administering medications. Feel free to message me to see if I’m the right fit for your family. I currently have a very flexible schedule and can do drop in visits easily throughout the day as needed or in home care for your pet. I have a bottom floor condo with an unfenced yard. I take my own dog out leashed throughout the day. There’s a bigger yard area for your pet to exercise while leashed, plenty of woods to sniff along, and lots of fun routes for walks throughout the neighborhood.
“Lillian and Gwen are phenomenal with our 3 boxers... it was such a relief that they brought them in and treated them as if they were their own. Plenty of pictures and updates whenever we asked. Our 3 can be pretty rowdy sometimes, being young almost 2yos, lol. The yard was well fenced and they had lots of room for them to run and play. We are so grateful to have you both taking care of them, thank you again.”
“Kaylee was wonderful! Our girls Piper and Gracie had a great time. We loved getting photo and video updates on the girls while we were away. We will definitely be back!”

“Bruno loved his stay with Jenny! He came home extremely happy, just as he was when I had dropped him off for his stay. Received daily communication with photos and videos and if any questions came up I was contacted immediately. Will definitely be booking Bruno again with Jenny. Thank you for taking great care of my baby while I was on vacation!!!”
