About: I have always had a passion for animals. I started sitting for furbabes when I was in high school.I am an Army Veteran and work at an urgent care as a Medical Assistant. I have a Great Pyrenees, Whiskey whose is considered special needs and 3 cats Pendleton,Jameson and Moscato who are all full of energy. I typically work 3 days a week and would be happy to travel within the Brunswick/SSI or Jekyll area to care for your fur babes. I try to stay under a 10 mile radius from where I live in historic Brunswick. Please feel free to reach out to me for more detailed scheduling options and pricing for a case by case basis.If you require more than one visit a day, I do charge an extra $5 for the 2nd service. I also like to do a military/first responder/student discount! As for cancellations I do require a 48hour notice for drop in visits but I understand that it’s not always possible. My priority is caring for your furbabes above all. I only ask for a 48hour notice because I often have to turn other clients away when one is already booked. I unfortunately do not offer boarding. I am able to accommodate furbabes with special needs pets as I have a Pyrenees with hip dysplasia. Because of my medical background I am more than comfortable and experienced administering injections. My mother taught us about natural remedies we could find in nature to help cure or heal us over time. One memorable experience was when I saved a beloved cat from what we believed was antifreeze poisoning. Drawing on what I learned from my family and my work, I created activated charcoal using black coal from the fireplace. I mixed the powdered charcoal with warm milk and carefully forced it down my little cat's throat. Thankfully, I was able to save my cat, Taco 🌮 😺, who went on to live for many more happy years.

“Kristine watched our border collie during 4th of July. Our pup is scared of fireworks but Kristine put in extra care and work to make sure she was more than comfortable during that time. She took her to play at the beach, sent great pictures and was very communicative. It’s clear Kristine is extremely knowledgeable with all types of dogs. Not only did she quickly respond but when he needed to stay an extra day they were very accommodating. Their dog was a great play mate for Griffin and they sent plenty of updates and pictures that really reassured me. They were nice, reasonable, responsable, and had my pup ready to go when I got there. I will be using them again in the future.”
