He loved playing with their two doodles, Chase and Rusty, and even got to meet their goats, pigs, chickens, and play with their kiddos. Their fully fenced yard (many acres) was perfect for safe playtime and gave us extra peace of mind. Julie went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving him, especially since Chiko is deaf and uses a special collar. She took the time to learn how to communicate with him, which gave us such reassurance. We loved the adorable photo updates throughout his stay, and when we picked him up, he was one happy (and tired!) pup who fell right asleep as soon as we got home. About: I have been a vet technician for over 10 years now and currently in school to become a registered vet technician. I’m able to monitor your pet especially if having conditions such as diabetes and/or have chronic conditions. I love the furry babies and love what I do! I own a two Boston terriers and have a family of my own that is my world! I can guarantee you that your pet will be taken care of with ER experience so I would know the signs for sure if your baby needed medical help. Since I work at an animal hospital this is a win win situation! Only that I can use my knowledge and skills to help owners feel at ease when leaving their furry babies with me. My dogs are SPOILED especially my bostons. We go on daily walks, I do not crate them but when I have pets that I do sit, I would separate them safety wise. I’m able to monitor behaviors before introducing my dogs to other clients’ pets. I’m pursuing to stay home full time and focus on school. As an educator and high school football coach, I’m used to balancing responsibilities, managing time well, and showing up consistently for the people who depend on me. With summer approaching, my schedule becomes even more flexible, giving me plenty of time for regular walks, drop‑in visits, and consistent routines for your pets. Even during the school year, my afternoons, evenings, and weekends are open, which makes it easy for me to fit pet care naturally into my week. Because I’ve always had dogs and cats of my own — both growing up and now in my adult life — caring for animals is already part of my daily rhythm. Whether it’s early‑morning walks, midday check‑ins, or evening visits, I’m able to give each pet the attention, structure, and comfort they’re used to. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to keep their routine as familiar and stress‑free as possible. I know how much comfort pets get from being in their own space, so I make sure everything I do matches the rhythm they’re used to. I follow your instructions closely — feeding schedules, walk times, medications, crate routines, and any little quirks that matter to your dog or cat. I take the time to learn their personality, whether they’re energetic and playful, shy and slow to warm up, or somewhere in between. I make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and structure so they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Because I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, both growing up and now as an adult, I’m comfortable handling all kinds of needs: puppy energy, senior care, anxious pets, or those who just want someone to sit nearby and keep them company. I also keep your home tidy, respect your space, and send regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

“Our pup had such an amazing time with Julie and her family! From the moment we arrived, Chiko felt right at home and quickly became part of the family. He loved playing with their two doodles, Chase and Rusty, and even got to meet their goats, pigs, chickens, and play with their kiddos. Their fully fenced yard (many acres) was perfect for safe playtime and gave us extra peace of mind. Julie went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving him, especially since Chiko is deaf and uses a special collar. She took the time to learn how to communicate with him, which gave us such reassurance. We loved the adorable photo updates throughout his stay, and when we picked him up, he was one happy (and tired!) pup who fell right asleep as soon as we got home. We are so grateful to Julie and her family for the wonderful care they gave our pup, and we can’t wait for him to stay with them again. Highly recommend!”
