“Our pup had such an amazing time with Julie and her family! From the moment we arrived, Chiko felt right at home and quickly became part of the family. He loved playing with their two doodles, Chase and Rusty, and even got to meet their goats, pigs, chickens, and play with their kiddos. Their fully fenced yard (many acres) was perfect for safe playtime and gave us extra peace of mind. Julie went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving him, especially since Chiko is deaf and uses a special collar. She took the time to learn how to communicate with him, which gave us such reassurance. We loved the adorable photo updates throughout his stay, and when we picked him up, he was one happy (and tired!) pup who fell right asleep as soon as we got home. We are so grateful to Julie and her family for the wonderful care they gave our pup, and we can’t wait for him to stay with them again. Highly recommend!”

Here’s a little bit about me… I’ve pet sat, walked pets, administered medication to many pets that require it on a day to day basis (via orally and injection), and many drop-in visits for a little over 5 years now to highly anxious, aggressive, and elderly animals. I’ve also worked it the veterinary field assisting doctors to provide hands on care to your fur baby for a little over a year now. I’m also in with the AKC. I compete with dogs in conformation, agility, dock diving, scent work, and barn hunt etc. and have been doing that for about a year with all types of breeds and sizes. I have always had a special connection with dogs and all animals for that matter and enjoy every second I can get with any of them. I look forward to doing some pet sitting or walking for you and your fur baby! I work part-time at the veterinary clinic (2 times a week for 5 hours a day) which gives me plenty of time during the week to play with your precious fur baby! About: I’ve always had dogs at home, up to three at once! Most all raised and trained from puppy stages. I had a disabled dog recently who lost usage of her back legs and was incompetent. She required lots of help and being carried around but was a sweetheart. Currently I have eight geckos as well as two snakes, a skink, two cats (mostly outdoor) and one dog. My dogs name is Luna, she’s almost two years old, deaf and mentally special but as friendly as can be! (Several rooms for separation of my dog if needed as well as my crate. So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. I do not have a fence but I have a large pasture as well as lots of leads. I’m willing to walk for hours with your pet on a leash! I have one friendly pup to keep yours company and I have a spare room. I have the ability to crate my dog and space for a crate for yours if provided. I’m here to make sure your pets get the love and attention they deserve. A couple years ago I would volunteer every day at TLC animal shelter. This has helped me understand behaviors from animals and has enhanced my caregiving experience. When you entrust your pets to me you can rest assured that they’ll be treated as my own child. About: I’ve always had pets growing up from cats, dogs to having a pet flying squirrel name Ricky Bobby. I have a genuine heart and a sweet soul and I love animals . My son is in school and I’m a stay at home mom. I have plenty of time on my hands now. I would enjoy having a side job to play with more animals in my life I have two acres of land and plenty of grass to roam around on. I have a fence with a closing gate and I can walk the dogs with as much time needed. They are in good hands !

About: Stephanie "Stevie" is experienced with managing the special needs of high-anxiety and/or reactive dogs. She has rescued and rehabilitated 3 dogs of her own, and 6 cats. She is an active volunteer at the local animal shelter, helping with adoption events and enrichment activities. Stevie has been a pet-sitter since she was 12 years old. She started with plants and birds, and now 20 years later, can work with any animal, including ones that require bottle feedings, complex medication schedules, or homestays up to 2 weeks. Farm animals too! Chickens, ducks, and goats! She was a camp counselor for 3 summers and also conducted a work exchange at a homestead farm for 1 summer. She successfully worked for Trusted Housesitters but has switched to Rover for more local opportunities. I work remotely part-time and have a flexible schedule that can meet all of your pet's individual needs. 24/7 care and attention for your animal! I understand your home is your sanctuary, and I aim to leave it as if I was never there. All poops are bagged up and properly disposed of immediately. All water drops or pee piddles are cleaned up with pet-safe sanitation spray. The door locks are always double checked upon departure. I send pictures of your pets happy and healthy during every visit.

About: As someone who personally has an animal with special needs I understand the kind of care they need! I also have experience working with animals of all ages. Along with working with animals of all ages I have both volunteered and worked at a local Humane Society. Working there entailed feeding, cleaning, and providing medical care to both cats and dogs. As a student who only works a part time job I am back and forth between campus and my house all week. With an older cat I frequently drop by my house throughout the day to check on him. Because of this I would be able to provide the same care to your animals as well. I live in a quiet neighborhood near several large parks. Because of this I will be able to not only walk dogs in my neighborhood but take them to surrounding parks to walk and play! Along with taking dogs out my home is equipped with cat friendly furniture,scratchers and enrichment.
