“Barbara did a great job taking care of Earl Grey! Earl Grey was not very cooperative and stayed in hiding when Barbara came to visit, but she made sure he was fed and had everything he needed. Earl Grey missed out on making a fine new friend. However, he was in good form when we returned from our travels and I will definitely use Barbara again if she is available when we travel again.”

About: I have been taken care of dogs since I was little. I have helped neighbors and family with their dogs. I have taken the dogs on walks, played with them, and feed them. I am a stay at home mom so I am home full time. The only time I would leave the dogs alone is to go to the store. I would be able to take the dogs on walks, play with them and anything else that is required. I have a fenced in yard and three dogs to keep the other dogs busy. They have plenty of room to run around and they have room to play inside as well.

We were concerned about how Zhuri would do with other animals, especially cats, but she got along well with Serria’s two dogs and cat. Serria sent daily photos of Zhuri bonding and relaxing with her eldest dog. One picture showed Zhuri outside in her spacious, fenced yard, where they had plenty of room to run and play. “Elisabeth and Forrest are amazing! From the moment I brought Pixie over for a meet-and-greet, I could feel the positive energy in their home and knew they would be a great fit for her. One of the biggest signs was Pixie’s behavior during our visit—rather than running to the nearest hiding spot, she came out of her carrier, explored the house, and plopped down on the floor as if she were already at home. During Pixie’s stay, she unexpectedly developed conjunctivitis and needed an emergency vet visit. Elisabeth and Forrest handled the situation quickly, professionally, and with genuine care. They kept me informed every step of the way, which gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away. By the time I picked Pixie up, her eye was almost completely healed. This was my first time using Rover and my first time leaving Pixie with a sitter, so I was naturally a little nervous. Despite the unexpected health issue, I truly believe Pixie enjoyed her stay and was well cared for. I highly recommend Elisabeth and Forrest and would absolutely trust them with Pixie again.”

I have an unfenced yard, so dogs are always supervised and kept safely leashed while outside. Inside, I provide a calm and comfortable environment and follow each pet’s normal feeding, potty, exercise, and sleeping routine as closely as possible. I’m also happy to use a crate if your dog is crate trained and that is part of their usual routine.
