About: The Care Takers That is primarily me. I love pets. I have a dog of my own. I became a sitter because I know how important it is to have a safe and affordable place for our furry family members to stay. I also really enjoy training dogs. I usually spend 15 min per day trying new tricks with my pups and any guest pups in the house. My partner lives with me as well. He also loves dogs. He is a vigilant food and water bowl filler upper. He's also a loyal behind-the-ears-doggy-scratcher. The Companions Lola and Quinn are my roommates. Lola is an American Cocker Spaniel who is 9 years old. Quinn is our cat that is calm and friendly. They are both friendly with small and large dogs. The Home Is located off Ridge Road in Smyrna. The house has hardwood throughout and tile in the kitchen/sunroom. Pets are allowed in all areas of the home as long as they've been house trained. We have a large crate for dogs who have been crate trained and are comfortable staying in one while we are away. Dogs are allowed on the couch as long as owners allow this type of behavior in their own home (we don't want to break any obedience training that has been established). The Outside I live in a single-family home with a large back yard. It is 75% fenced with a natural tree line and small creek on the far end. Keeping pets contained to this area is manageable but pets can be kept on leash if they’re known to be runners! There are plenty of shaded areas. There is a large and small patio that the dogs have access to. On warm days I fill up the doggy pool. For the most part, the backyard is free-range. My pets play fetch with balls, sticks, and frisbees. They are very friendly and are not protective or territorial of their food or toys. I work from home most days and am available for walks, playtime, naps, and pet specific care throughout the day. We are up and moving round early and keep a pretty steady schedule. I have a large yard fenced on three sides with a creek bordering the final side where dogs can run and have fun in a safe environment (if mom and dad approve).

One of the biggest signs was Pixie’s behavior during our visit—rather than running to the nearest hiding spot, she came out of her carrier, explored the house, and plopped down on the floor as if she were already at home. During Pixie’s stay, she unexpectedly developed conjunctivitis and needed an emergency vet visit. Elisabeth and Forrest handled the situation quickly, professionally, and with genuine care. They kept me informed every step of the way, which gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away. By the time I picked Pixie up, her eye was almost completely healed. This was my first time using Rover and my first time leaving Pixie with a sitter, so I was naturally a little nervous. About: I grew up with a sweet dachshund and have been a dog-lover ever since! Andrew and I both work from home full time, and that makes us the go-to pet sitter for neighbors and friends. We’ve had experience with both active dogs and those that might need a little more care and patience. We love having a new friend around to keep us company! We both work fully remote jobs and therefore can give your fur-baby all the attention they may need! We always aim to go out at least 4 times a day, but can adhere to your pet’s specific schedule. We offer flexible boarding availability throughout the week and weekends. For any weekend bookings, we do ask that your pet be comfortable being alone for at least a couple of hours since there may be instances where we will be out of the house running errands. While we don’t currently have any pets of our own, our pet-friendly apartment will cater to your furry friend’s comfort. We live on the Beltline making it the perfect setting for long walks or quick potty breaks. We’re more than happy to accommodate your pet’s needs, whether it is crating them or something else.

About: I am currently a vet technician, train and care for pitbuls, labs, golden retrievers, in French bulldogs. I have had experience walking, administering medicine, staying overnight with animals, etc. I have had at least 15 years experience in this area. In the past, my husband I used to breed Golden retrievers. I have also on my own horse and I care for her myself everyday. I'm a very kind-hearted, trustworthy, gentle person. I am very organized and timely. I do not have any children with me at this time. I have also cared for various breeds of cats, birds and fish. I live in a very quiet family in oriented condominium with two bedrooms. I am also a very relaxed and confident and positive person.
About: I grew up around multiple dog breeds in my childhood home which taught me how to read body language, learn different personalities, and develop a passion for animals of all shapes and sizes! My love for my childhood pets followed me after High School, where I worked at and managed a local pet supply store. I received my grooming certificate there as well as experience in puppy training. After owning different dog breeds, I’ve now found myself caring for a senior dog and various pets of my own! My experience with animals doesn’t stop at dogs, I also own 2 birds, 3 cats, and 2 different species of lizards! My neighborhood has feral cats that I feed and administer medications to if needed. With 7 pets, my daily care routine is very much hands on. The senior dog that I watch needs diaper changes as well as multiple walks throughout the day, since he is unable to use a backyard space after going blind. My cats get multiple meals a day, daily litter box scooping, and play time. Daily water and food twice a day keeps me busy with 2 birds. My 2 lizards need frequent misting, food every other day (including freshly chopped fruits and vegetables) and weekly cage cleaning. Our feral cats outside get food twice a day, and fresh water as well. The senior dog that I care for needs a lot of gentle efforts, like diaper changes and medication administered daily as needed. If necessary, I am capable of handling a sick or elderly pet that needs treatment provided in a comfortable and safe manner. Dog crates are no problem, as well as harnesses or gentle leaders. During dog walks, I usually change direction if another dog is coming, just in case the other pet isn’t friendly. Water breaks in hot weather are important, so I keep a convertible silicone dog bowl with me for water during a longer walk. If you provide a dog or cat toy, I can bring that along as well on walks and stop for a play break or visit the local dog park.

About: Since moving to Georgia at age 13, I have been a pet sitter, mostly for dogs. I have a passion for pets and enjoy walking and playing with them. “My fur baby is not easy to interact with due to her anxiety issues. Kelsey was understanding and patient during Jackie's first visit as daycare and her subsequent five day boarding stay. I could tell by Jackie's body language, in the pictures I received, that she was not as traumatized as I feared she would be. This was her first boarding alone, as we had recently lost her brother. Though I know that I will need to continue to work on socializing Jackie, I truly believe that Kelsey's patience and kindness will help with that immensely. I definitely plan to reach out to Kelsey & Marcus in the future.”

“This was our first time leaving Lizzy with a sitter we didn’t know beforehand and had no idea what we were doing. Natalie was at the very top of our suggestions list and for good reason, she’s the absolute best. Our dog has some reactivity issues and sometimes gets stressed out around strangers. We were drawn to Natalie’s profile mainly for her significant experience and it was clearly evident from the minute we met her that she knew what she was doing. Lizzy warmed up to her immediately which is unusual, and before we knew it they were best of friends. The (many) photo’s/videos while we were gone reenforced that Lizzy was happy as could be, well cared for, and having a wonderful time. We didn’t feel concerned for her at all the whole time. We’ve already booked our next stay in a few weeks and will keep Natalie at the top of our list of sitters. You should too.”
