Miller got many cuddles from Parker, which is awesome to see, and I picked Parker up, he was happy but not relieved. You never want your pup to run out like, “oh God you’re here! Take me home now.” If I stayed and chatted, he probably would have relaxed and played with Charlie more. It was comforting to know my guy (a senior) was safe and happy during his visit.”

About: While I didn’t grow up in a home with cats, I did work with them out of high school with a cat rescue! I have fostered kittens, as well as groomed cats of all ages. I have cared for mostly small breeds such as Maltese, Maltipoo, Morkie, Shih-poo, Yorkies, etc. I currently have a Morkie furr baby named Ivy. About: I have taken care of family pets since I was 10. I had a beagle and jack russell terrier in the past and currently have a german shepard mix. I understand the need for having pet care for traveling arrangements and during working hours (especially the late nights) and the concern with them being with someone that will take care of them. I have trained our pet on many the things he knows. I am happy to accommodate dogs that need senior care and puppies that need potty training. I have plenty of availability for your dog. I am available around the clock for pet care. I am free most days of the week. I will need to be able to leave the house on occasion at regular intervals for errands at times. I have a fenced in yard and one male dog that lives in the home with me. I also have a young child at home and she is great with pets. I would be home most of the day and would be the primary caretaker watching your pet(s) other than personal errands. I can crate your dog during those times if needed. Our dog stays out of his crate unless he wants to go into it on his own. I can have them stay in separate rooms, if needed. About: Growing up, I’ve always had at least one dog. There is no feeling greater in the Universe than the bond humans can have with their doggies. I am a cancer survivor and I rescued my current dog, Rex, to save me! We are ready to host other doggies here in Marietta! I am home full-time, so I am available almost always. About: We are a family of 4 and we do doggie care together. We have been dog sitting off and on for over 9 years and just recently moved to Georgia from WA State. We have cared of dogs from puppies to elderly, from not socialized I, Marija work from home, and dad is retired, so that means someone is always at home with the dogs. Our house backyard opens into a public park which also allows us to take the dogs on engaging safe walks. we have an unfenced yard that we are working on fencing as we speak. The dogs are in our house with us, and they are allowed to roam free.

About: Hello and welcome! I'm Heather, but I go by Xel (pronounced •zel•) and it's nice to meet you! I have owned more dogs and cats (as well as a ferret, lizard, fish, and a spider and have handled various others) than I can count through the years (I'm almost 40 and we've had a LOT!). Everything from domestic shorthair to Bengal-mix and Schnauzers to German Shepherds. I have house-sat for both friends and family for many years (short and extended!) and I have administered medicine in pill form, as well as inhaler (would be willing to learn injections if necessary). Our oldest cats have lived 18 years, and I currently own four cats (all rescues, aged 2 to 16). Our oldest dogs have lived 15+ I believe, but it's been a long time since owning one (my parents are disabled). I have done a bit of training with dogs and cats alike, but I am not a professional. I'm HIGHLY flexible, so if you would like to know more, feel free to reach out! If you've made it this far, have a lovely day! ♡ I'm available at a moments' notice the majority of the time! This includes overnights, emergencies, and short/extended stays. As long as there is clear communication, I'll do my best to aid in any situation, even if it's within the hour! ♡ For our own cats, our oldest, Max, has to be fed separately from the others, as he needs a higher calorie diet than the others. All of the cats are treated with flea medication and I clean multiple litter boxes several times a week. For friends and family, I have had feeding schedules for both dogs and cats, ranging from custom mixed and weighed portions to simply making sure the auto-feeders/fountains are kept clean and filled. My best friend's dog gets playtime and outside time (he has a runner and a ton of toys to play fetch with). My Aunt's cat would need constant watch, as he needed an inhaler if he walked too far or his anxiety flared. I'm also open to doing light chores, so feel free to reach out with any and all questions! Whether your dog just needs some company while youre gone or some exercise, I would be happy to help! I work from home most of time and have a very flexible schedule as a salaried worker. I am available for drop in or walks during the day. I play rugby and have practice in the evenings on Mondays and Wednesdays. For drop ins, I am happy to play or give company to your dog or cat in whatever way they want! Since I am meeting them in their home, it is important to make sure they feel comfortable with me. I would never force an interaction if there are signs your pet is uncomfortable. My goal is to make sure they are happy and stress free with a new person in their space.
About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is that i have a good grip on the needs and wants of the animals. I also have servel years of experience in dealing with large dogs. I have quite a bit of free time, though i go out on Wednesday and Friday, and I might be getting a job soon, so I am not sure how much time I will have further on. You will see a recent review for me from an owner who wasn’t honest about the dog and his behaviors and how he treated his dog with “training.” I don’t want to share the details of what his dog did because it was horrible and he laughed about it. I have and always will take the action that is for the safety and care of all of the pets I care for as I do this because I love animals. All of them. So the updates for safety that I have taken are the following. 1. All dogs unless they are from the same family will be outside by themselves. 2. While they will never be out with another dog besides a related dog, I have purchased pepper spray, dog whistles, and several other items to react in such a situation if anything happens. 3. I’ve lowered the amount of pets that I take at a time. 4. I thoroughly ask questions and vet whoever I’m watching to make sure it’s safe for all parties. 5. I have always had cameras wherever the pets are, and will continue to do so. 6. I have a calming pets video playing 24/7 for all pets. 7. I have a thermometer that monitors temperatures at all times and sets off alarms if it’s too low or too high. 8. I will no longer watch breeds that can be aggressive. Unfortunately this individual treated their dog with abuse in his response and something triggered him to attack another friends dog in my care that I needed to respond in order to break up his dog attacking another dog that resulted in two surgeries requiring a complete reconstruction of her ear and an infection with pet bills that he paid for, not rover. That poor dogs owner can attest to that and has been in communication and I will continue to be her dog sitter because her dog is so sweet and wouldn’t even know how to defend herself. The situation upset me deeply and this person was vindictive and manipulative. I’ve never encountered something like this before or a human being who would laugh at such a thing, or attempt to harm my business in such a way. Please be assured that your pet will be treated with care, safety, and kindness. I work full time but I live 10 minutes from my job. All pets get walked frequently and checked on frequently and are well taken care of. I’m in a house now with a fenced in backyard with plenty of room. I have crates, bowls, toys, and plenty of space in the house where the pets will stay. It is climate controlled along with cameras, TVs, a very large play area, and calming music is played at all times.
