“Where do I start? The beginning… Josi and Ricky were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC and AMAZING with my Ellie. We had a meet and greet 2 weeks before my family’s big trip to NYC for a big family event. The stars aligned and Mother Nature decided to give us a gift of snow & ice on the day that our flight was to leave. Josi was incredibly flexible with our drop off time. In our mad rush out of the door I forgot Ellie’s home-cooked meals (Ellie has allergies) in our refrigerator and I couldn’t turn back because of the snow. Josi cooked for my baby! She and her family sacrificed so much to care for and comfort my anxious 5lb Ellie. Fast forward to the day of pickup. My family’s flight was significantly delayed and we weren’t going to land back in the state until 11:30, Josi was sooo accommodating and allowed me to pick her up the next morning. Ricky met me with such understanding and kindness. Ellie was groomed and smelling so good. I absolutely cannot say enough about Josi. We will certainly use her again. About: Since I was about 5 or 6 I have always had a dog and each day I cherished and loved them deeply. I would do the same for the dog my cousins had. Everyday when I would get off work I would go by just to see her dog. We played for hours and I treated her as if she was my own. There are some dogs that can be challenging just cause they don't know who you are and every dog has to trust you and they have to feel safe with you. I plan to do that with each dog I met. They deserve to be treated how any human being would want to be treated. Dogs are, hands down the best. I love dogs! Usually I’ll work from 6:30am-3:30pm on Monday-Friday. But I am very flexible. If you let me know on advance that you need care for your baby/babies I am more then willing to accommodate for you. Before work I always let them out and let them eat. My wife comes back home and will let them back out. I do come home most time for breaks to let them out and play. If I am not able then my wife will be there on her breaks and will allow the them to go outside. I’ll do playtime outside, but if it’s too hot then playtime will be inside. Plenty of space in the living room to run around. We have multiple things to do around whether inside or outside. Most times we will go done to the trial and play around out there. About: With over 15 years of pet experience, and have fostered over 150+ foster dogs in my home for local rescues over the last decade. My foster experience has helped me develop a knack for making pets feel at home. Safety is my top priority. I do have three labs of my own, who are absolutely spoiled rotten and love to play. I work from home, so animals who are boarded at my home can be let out throughout the day. For house sitting, I am available with the exception of 730-430 Monday thru Friday. I have a privacy fenced in yard, with additional crates as needed. I prefer to crate dogs at night or when running errands since unfamiliar environments can be stressing. I only use the crate as a positive non-punishment strategy. I’ve found over the years, pets in a short-term situation take comfort in having a space of their own. When gone I ensure that there are several barriers between pets so that they are safe. I am a public school teacher, I am able to provide care before and after work but more importantly on school breaks. Your fur baby will be cared for just as well as you would care for them while you’re enjoying your vacation. I have extra crates available for guest pets, which are cleaned after each guest. We also have a fenced back yard with a 6ft privacy fence to provide plenty of exercise.
About: Many Rover's offer an in-home experience where your pets, and other peoples pets and the rover's pets just all hang out and rough house all day. That is not our style. We provide each dog, or dog family a private room for their stay. Your dogs, guest dogs and my dogs do not mingle. We do this for several reasons, but the primary reason is the health and safety of your dog. Have you heard about the new strains of vaccine resistant Kennel cough? Have you seen the injuries that can occur at the dog park when they are just playing? Some dogs just don't care for the doggie mosh pit. Our private rooms are easy to clean and disinfect in between guests. You can bring fido’s favorite bed, blanket or kennel, but we have several vinyl wrapped, easy clean crib mattresses W/ quilted covers and sheets to fit mattress. Due to our cleaning standards, to bring as little as possible is our goal for the dog moms and dads. We also have plenty of bowls, most are stainless steel and washed in a dishwasher daily. All linen service & cleaning service is included in the fee. In 2018, I brought myself and my small business to Griffin. I inherited a buiding that is just a little ttoo big for my needs. I tried being a landlord to pepole, it was a job I did not care for. To protect my tender heart from people that need a place to stay, I have turned 2 rooms into dog hotel rooms. I am typically only gone for 2-3 hours at a time, however my wife if often home as well. I have a large fenced yard for your dog to run and exercise. I also live in a residential neighborhood with great walking paths. If your dog is up for making new friends, my dogs would love the company. If not, not a problem. I am able to keep the dogs separated in my home. If your are looking for a dog sitter in your home, please let me know. I am able to make accommodations to fit whatever your pet needs.
About: I’ll care for your pets just like I care for my own. I know that your pets are extremely important to you, therefore they will be extremely important to me. I know how special and unique each personality of a pet is. I enjoy and am very comfortable with pets of all shapes, sizes, fur, scales, or feathery! I have a bearded dragon named Mango, he is 6 years old. I have a German Shepard/American Bully mix named Stella she is 5 years old. Stella was abused as a puppy and is missing an ear because of it. but that doesn’t stop her from loving everyone she meets! Allie is our sweet old lady, she’s 10 and thriving, still playing like a puppy. I grew up with cats and dogs and I love them all so much. I can’t wait to meet yours! I currently work at a couple churches, only having a couple hours a day booked and busy. I’m usually free, hanging out with my 4 year old daughter. I live on 9 acres of land and my dogs are very well trained, so they run a lot! Stella loves to run through sprinklers in the garden and play in the pond.
About: Since I was about 5 or 6 I have always had a dog and each day I cherished and loved them deeply. I would do the same for the dog my cousins had. Everyday when I would get off work I would go by just to see her dog. We played for hours and I treated her as if she was my own. There are some dogs that can be challenging just cause they don't know who you are and every dog has to trust you and they have to feel safe with you. I plan to do that with each dog I met. They deserve to be treated how any human being would want to be treated. Dogs are, hands down the best. I love dogs! Usually I’ll work from 6:30am-3:30pm on Monday-Friday. But I am very flexible. If you let me know on advance that you need care for your baby/babies I am more then willing to accommodate for you. Before work I always let them out and let them eat. My wife comes back home and will let them back out. I do come home most time for breaks to let them out and play. If I am not able then my wife will be there on her breaks and will allow the them to go outside. I’ll do playtime outside, but if it’s too hot then playtime will be inside. Plenty of space in the living room to run around. We have multiple things to do around whether inside or outside. Most times we will go done to the trial and play around out there. Whatever you or your baby needs I’m here to give.
About: Throughout my childhood I had dogs, cats, hamsters and a rat. Additionally I have gained experience in owning chickens and guinea. I have a love for horses and I would say can handle the basics including prior experience with starting under saddle. I respect the need to be patient, attentive, loving and understanding when caring for each animal individually. I am now a stay at home mother who provides round the clock care. I have attended training classes and can provide additional instruction upon request. Feeding, bathing, grooming/nail trimming can also be provided upon request. Stay at home mother who's readily available 24/7. We have 4 pets currently: 3 dogs and 1 cat. Our animals are free to be in our home or out in the yard daily. I have also owned chickens and guinea! Feeding twice a day, morning and evening, plus plenty of bonding/outside time each day. I believe most pets give back the love they receive and are a product of their humans commitment and acceptance. We ensure the way to keep everything smooth and easy going is with lots of love. Even with strict disciplined training, we make sure to keep a close eye on ours at all times because well... kids will be kids and animals will be animals!
About: I grew up alongside many breads of dogs. I have never met a dog I didn’t get along with. I have a natural ability to communicate well with dogs and love to spend time outdoors! I work mornings and afternoons 5 days a week and can walk the dogs around that schedule. I love spending a few hours walking dogs between 5 and 8 after work. I make sure to ingratiate myself to them slowly. I will play with their toys and refill their bowls. I’ll make sure to grab their treats and leashes as we head quickly outside for the long awaited tinkle. I am knowledgeable in dog mannerisms and emergency response if necessary.

About: I have had dogs all my life. I have potty trained numerous puppies and have taken care of my own and friends for 20 plus years. I have given medication for allergies and diabetes. Since retiring pet sitting is enjoyable to me especially since I dedicate all my time to giving attention and care to all kinds. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 I loved it it’s a passion for me communicating to them is what I love the most Our daily routine consists of 6am wake up and morning potty. After potty we eat breakfast if fur baby schedule mirrors. After breakfast we have playtime with friends, such as ball, fetch and water sports if weather permits. After morning play which is about 11:30am-12n, another potty break. About 12:15-12:30 we go down for nap and wake up about 3pm. After naps there’s afternoon potty and playtime with individual one on one time. After afternoon play we have dinner and potty. Bedtime is normally between 8:00pm-8:30pm. I have a big gated fence we also leash fur babies when going on potty walks i also keep females and males separate in this act as well as size of breed separated.
