About: I've had dogs for all of my adult life and I'm used to family member's cats, just don't have any of my own due to family allergies. I'm also keen to rabbits, chickens, and ducks for any of you backyard farmers here. I can administer medication if needed and trained my dogs as puppies. I'm by no means a professional trainer but I can help reinforce skills that may be starting to develop during my time with your pup. I have open availability since I stay at home and am in school, so I am very flexible to walking and caring for other's pets. I have a fenced-in yard for dogs to relieve themselves or play whenever. About: I have always had a passion for animals. I started sitting for furbabes when I was in high school.I am an Army Veteran and work at an urgent care as a Medical Assistant. I have a Great Pyrenees, Whiskey whose is considered special needs and 3 cats Pendleton,Jameson and Moscato who are all full of energy. I typically work 3 days a week and would be happy to travel within the Brunswick/SSI or Jekyll area to care for your fur babes. I try to stay under a 10 mile radius from where I live in historic Brunswick. Please feel free to reach out to me for more detailed scheduling options and pricing for a case by case basis.If you require more than one visit a day, I do charge an extra $5 for the 2nd service. I also like to do a military/first responder/student discount! As for cancellations I do require a 48hour notice for drop in visits but I understand that it’s not always possible. My priority is caring for your furbabes above all. I only ask for a 48hour notice because I often have to turn other clients away when one is already booked. I unfortunately do not offer boarding. I am able to accommodate furbabes with special needs pets as I have a Pyrenees with hip dysplasia. Because of my medical background I am more than comfortable and experienced administering injections. I have a special place in my heart caring for geriatric or injured furbabes- I take extra time with them free of charge. I also am able to help care for small/ large breed pups and cats. I also have experience with livestock and spend extra time with gentle giants such as horses- I grew up in the Midwest and was always helping out on the farm
About: I've owned animals my whole life. I recently worked at a spay and neuter clinic that has given me insight to animal care and needs. I am currently a stay at home mom. About: Growing up I always wanted to be a veterinarian due to the love and compassion I had for all types of animals. Due to my environment the only animals besides those of nature that I was around were mainly cats and dogs. I took that to my advantage and spent every moment possibly with any cat or dog I could get my hands on. There were always stray litters of kittens and I made sure to always find them and bring them home. We took care of them and rehomed them. It may have drove my mother batty, but she knew I cared for every animal I met and had to do this. Fast forward to adulthood, I still scream like a child inside whenever I see a cat or dog… which yes happens to be a lot. I own two of my own German shepherds and two cats. My parents have always had small dogs so I am used to dogs of all sizes. I am currently a stay at home mom needing to find a job that will be rewarding work to me and help me support my family I have two separated fenced yards and a cozy bedroom inside. If kid friendly, they will be allowed to roam and hangout in our dog friendly home. If they are not friendly with my dogs I will make sure my dogs are kept separate as your fur babies will be my first priority always. They will be allowed to be outdoors with access to indoors whenever they would like. Fresh water and food provided always. Treats with permission. If staying overnight, they will be crated in the bedroom next to mine. If friendly and potty trained, they may roam at night.

My mother taught us about natural remedies we could find in nature to help cure or heal us over time. One memorable experience was when I saved a beloved cat from what we believed was antifreeze poisoning. Drawing on what I learned from my family and my work, I created activated charcoal using black coal from the fireplace. I mixed the powdered charcoal with warm milk and carefully forced it down my little cat's throat. Thankfully, I was able to save my cat, Taco 🌮 😺, who went on to live for many more happy years.

Because we have two small dogs, we do prefer to sit for small dogs, under 15 pounds, to ensure everyone is safe. Our yorkies have gotten along with all dogs that they have been around. They love to play but quickly learn their boundaries. They are spoiled rotten with attention and your dog will be too! I have no problem feeding, bathing, training or walking your pet as if it were my own. Our pets are our children as well and we need to care for them the best way we can. I am self employed and work my own schedule so I can care for your pet Friday -Tuesdays 9am-3pm. Different days or later hours can be arranged with at least a weeks notice. I have a fenced yard and can Kennel the dog if needed but for the most part I prefer for them to get a feel of my home and my rules.

Because I work from home, your dog will receive consistent supervision, companionship, and a calm, structured environment throughout their stay. A typical day includes a morning walk before work, lunchtime fetch and unlimited potty breaks. My husband and I share our home with two well-socialized, friendly dogs who are fully up to date on vaccinations and genuinely enjoy the company of other dogs in their fully fenced in backyard and a very friendly cat (that believes he is one of the dogs). I’m experienced in caring for pets for friends and family, and I approach every stay with the same level of care and responsibility I would expect for my own pets. Each dog’s routine is thoughtfully maintained, including daily walks, enrichment, and plenty of one-on-one attention. For dogs who enjoy the water, I also offer supervised swim time with owner approval.
