“I just have to say James and his wife De are AMAZING! We just moved in to town and we’re looking for a dog sitter due to a long trip that we had planned prior to our move. I am always hesitant leaving my pups with new sitters, but during the meet and greet at James’ house, I was instantly set at ease. He reassured the pups would be well taken care of while we were gone and I have to say he went above and beyond. He sent multiple pictures throughout each day and sent message updates to let me know how they were doing. He even spoiled them with extra treats (asked me first of course) and I know they loved it! If you’re feeling any bit of hesitation leaving your pups with someone new I can’t recommend James enough! Even living about 50 minutes from where they are, I will definitely leave my pups with them again and know they are well taken care of. Thank you so much again James and De!”

About: I work in a rescue clinic where I have developed skills like administering medication, working with all ages from newborns to seniors, and working with animals of all sizes! I have owned a variety of pets over the years, and have had them from newborns up to 20 yrs old. My years of caring for animals includes everything from daily care, medications, subcutaneous fluids, special needs animals, fostering cats & dogs, and just about everything in between. My current role with a group I work with is TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) of feral & community cats, as well as working in the vet clinic. The spicy kitties and scared doggies are some of my favorites because they need patience, compassion, and a different approach than a typical pet. From the furry & fuzzy animals to the scaly & slithering, they are all welcome in my life! I would love to meet your babies and help you feel good knowing they are loved and cared for during your time away. I am not available on Tuesdays since that is the day I work in a rescue vet clinic. Every day I care for my personal pets, and would love to add your fur babies to my days. Here’s a little bit about me… I’ve pet sat, walked pets, administered medication to many pets that require it on a day to day basis (via orally and injection), and many drop-in visits for a little over 5 years now to highly anxious, aggressive, and elderly animals. I’ve also worked it the veterinary field assisting doctors to provide hands on care to your fur baby for a little over a year now. I’m also in with the AKC. I compete with dogs in conformation, agility, dock diving, scent work, and barn hunt etc. and have been doing that for about a year with all types of breeds and sizes. I have always had a special connection with dogs and all animals for that matter and enjoy every second I can get with any of them. About: At 28 Years Old, I have nearly always had a dog living with me. 8 dogs have been apart of my life in the past and currently 4 reside in our large loving home. Nearly every single one of my dogs have been rescued and cared for, where I try my best to change my own routine to better fit their needs rather than trying to change them to fit my own. In the past years I have boarded relatives' dogs at my own home and would like to continue helping dog parents with any dog care they might need. Because I've had so many dogs in my life, I have had to experience both the beginning and end of their lives. I especially enjoy giving extra care to senior dogs to make sure they are most comfortable in the golden age of their lives. I am working only part time so I have plenty of time to give your dogs as little or as much attention as you need. My schedule is extremely flexible. Weekends or Weekdays are perfect for me. My home sits on a hilly and forested 3 acres, with fenced in portions as well as a long circular driveway perfect for walks! In the fenced area, there is a pool perfect for any water loving dog in the summer! There is also an enclosed run of chickens that are unbothered by any rambunctious and curious dogs. Currently we have 4 dogs, one an outdoor Rottweiler dog that is all too happy to play with another dog, but with her own separated fenced in area. We have 4 indoor dogs, 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Chihuahua. All of them have shown friendly tendencies to unfamiliar dogs of similar size. They have had mixed feelings over larger dogs and I know that not all dogs enjoy the company of others. Should your own dog be more comfortable being alone and dislike other dogs, our house is set up in a way that your own dog can have their own private space away from my dogs and still get whatever attention is needed while still allowing my own dogs ample space.
