About: I have always had dogs growing up. However the last 3 years, my husband and I have been fostering, training and socializing dogs to prepare them for there forever homes. It has been a blast, we have loved every single one. I work part time with a flexible job that allows me to come home and check on the pups when I need to. “Hello Rover,, I'm new to the area and just moved into my house a month ago. Needing a cat sitter, my daughter told me to look on Rover. When i first logged on to your site, I saw Jennie's kind smile and that she was close by. So I figured it would be a win win. Boy, did I get way more than I bargained for!! I don't even know where to begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for Jennie! First, I'd like to thank her for taking care of my cat under more than extreme circumstances! I never thought I could ever get such impeccable service. The story has a twist and becomes even more extraordinary. On my recent trip, on the third day I left the country. Something told me to message Jennie and let her know I could only receive messages from messenger. As I did, I asked if everything was OK. She responded "your cat is ok". This is what followed. Evidently some sort of "Super Cell" developed and decided to dump approximately 6 inches of rain in 45 minutes on my house! Jennie saw how bad the sky looked over my way and decided to make the trip over. What normally is a 5 minute ride turned into 20 due to the rain coming down so hard she couldn't see the road. Upon her arrival, the water was 6 to 8 inches above the threshold, so she didn't want to open the door. She left and came back later to find my downstairs flooded! The water had started to receed and little Miss Wonder Woman jumped into action and advised me step by step as I, near hysteria, hung on her every message, knowing I couldn't get back til Monday (this happened Friday evening !) She moved furniture and pulled out rugs as her daughter and cousin swept the water to the street. She secured my cat in the upstairs and did her best to calm her. Jennie went out and rented a rug cleaner and cleaned my large area rug ( just a cat sitter?! Whatever!!). She turned on fans and cleaned everything she could!! Not once did I ask her to do anything --- she just took care of everything. When I asked her why she did it, her response was, "That's how I was raised, you help people". At that moment I could have kissed her parents on the mouth! My cat is now healed from the trauma, still skittish, but that's to be expected. The house is getting back together, but it would have been a total loss without Jennie's help. Thank you Jennie for working so hard for 3 straight days and restoring my faith in humans , there's still good ones out there! ❤ Rover, you just don't know what you have! Sincerely, Donna Matteson”

She communicated really well, drove down to meet the cats before confirming the booking, and showed up on time before us leaving to get access to the building. What I loved most about her is how prompt she is about responding to any messages. She kept us updated with pictures and lots of other information. I recently have been a Canine Palatability Specialist and have many years of experience in kennel management and veterinary care. Also well knowledged in animal behavior and puppy raising. I am available Monday - Friday From 7am - 6pm with night visits when needed. Some weekends 10- 6 when available. On lunch from 12 - 1. I offer a range of care from feeding, medications, potty breaks, socialization, walking, and grooming as well as behavior and puppy training visits. I have 5 small dogs of my own and they are indoor dogs that need cut and groomed very ofen. They are provided food ever AM for the day and eat at their own pace so they self manage. My dogs are open roam throughout the day also with access to a yard at their convenience (dog door). They go into their cages at night and when needed throughout the day. I medicate them with monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention and have them regularly checked and vaccinated by our local vet. I do trim nails and cut hair if needed.

I take them for daily walks when its not so hot in the florida heat. I can potty train them if they are puppies as I had recently rescued one 3 years ago and had to retrain her from the beginning. Shes such a good girl. Chihuahua that is. Im currently working full-time but il have plenty of time to play with your pups. Im available some mornings from 5am til 930am and afternoons after 2pm. My schedule varies all the time. I have a fully fenced in yard and have 4 friendly dogs. 1 small and 3 medium sized. Willing to work with you however you want.

About: Ever since I was young I did not only taking a liking to all animals, as I found they too took a liking to me. Sometimes I could see pieces of myself in their souls. From then on I've been infatuated with helping them. That's become quite the task as I'm a mother now of 2. Having your own "pets" is just having a bigger family in my eyes. I've always been the friend that takes in pet guests so they can go out of town. Or house sit if necessary beings all the different types. I figured why not make a job of it!! Pet care is extremely important! I use this time daily even for snuggle time to make sure no one even our own furries are left out. It fits in just like breakfast. It's extremely important and can become very meditative. I treat guest pets with as much love and freedom as our own. I'm in a very wooded area and our pup never ventures too far and guides the other dogs around and plays with them to get them back in. He's very clever. However I would never let a guest be unleashed while unattended. While your away I like to take all opportunities to improve! Unleash time is a HUGE start and is always impressive. These simple tasks once mastered can save you pups life if ever left unattended unleashed in a new scary place. I intend to help even if it's for one day we can work on just having fun and playing inside and talking walks in the outdoors together! About: I have always had dogs growing up. However the last 3 years, my husband and I have been fostering, training and socializing dogs to prepare them for there forever homes. It has been a blast, we have loved every single one. I work part time with a flexible job that allows me to come home and check on the pups when I need to.
