Olivia accommodated all of our requests and went by Emerson’s pace. She gave him space, while also talking to him and comforting him. And I have loved hosting happy pets ever since! My children are now in college, and after losing my precious older dog and cat a couple years ago, I now only have one cat we rescued during a storm. My ultimate goal is for both you and your pet to be comfortable and have peace of mind before and during the time you are away, and I strive to love and entertain them so much that they feel at home (or on vacation) until you come back for them. I work from home, allowing me to be available for your pet at almost all times - which is especially helpful with puppies/kittens, older, or disabled pets that need to be closely watched. (I have many years experience with disabled, sick or elderly pets). I am experienced with giving both oral and injected meds, expressions, helping them eat, exercise, etc. Because I only pet sit one animal family at a time, I am able to adjust to your pet(s) schedule. Whatever makes him/her most comfortable! I take the trust and safety of pets very seriously, only keeping one pet (or family of pets) at a time. I also document a daily diary of their experiences, and send pictures on a daily basis (unless requested otherwise). You can review the daily diary document (as well as information I prefer to obtain before pet sitting), in my photos section. This document includes the preferred vet and emergency center I utilize, although I am happy to contact your preferred vet if provided to me. I also have multiple friends who are veterinarians, and I never hesitate to contact them if I am at all concerned about any pet in my care. I prefer dogs be crate trained if they are young and active, but while I have a large double-sized crate, it is only used if we are all gone for a short time (for the dog’s safety and comfort). The rest of the time pets are welcome on the bed to sleep with us, on furniture, etc. If there is a reason the dog can’t be crated, please discuss it with me and we can come up with safest and best plan for your pet! I also have a room set up for pets in case they want to be alone or have quiet time. It is also helpful if you bring a blanket from home, so s/he is comforted by the familiar smells of you and their loving home!

About: Hi! We run a small hobby farm in Plant City with goats, chickens, a King Charles spaniel named Gracie, and a rescue cat named Pipsqueak. I’m an RN and work 3 days a week. My husband is a real estate agent and works from home. We work together with our 3 school age boys, ages 6, 10 and 12 to care for your pets. We can take care of your pets in your home and walk on their schedule. We love animals and would love to care for yours, while treating your home with respect and care!

It was Koa’s first time ever with a sitter, and we were nervous because it was 9 days, but Angie was welcoming during the meet and greet, and explained about how she would care for him. She also provided additional information about the other dogs she cared for during the time we would leave Koa with her. She sent pics almost every day to provide updates on how he was doing.
