About: My first experience with cats was at 12 when my sister brought home a 2 week old stray she had found on the side of the road who soon became an essential part of the family. My passion for animals comes through the way I care for them I work full but my daughter 15 and son 13 after school help me with the pets with whatever it needs to be done. I’m free on the weekends to care for the pets. I live in a 3 floor townhouse. The senior pets stay in the first floor where my bedroom but they are free to go up and down the stairs as they please. About: Paws & Claws Pet Care of Lake Mary I am mom to an adorable 18lb pup who I raised using the positive reinforcement method. In addition, I've always had pets since I was young. On most days I am currently available for drop-in visits from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Monday to Friday. On Saturday and Sunday I have more flexibility. In June 2026 my schedule changes to Thursday and Sunday with open flexibility and 9:30 am to 10:00 am on Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Saturday. Safety is a priority for me. For boarding, dogs must have updated vaccines, be clean, and free of fleas, worms, mites, etc. During boarding with more than one dog, I always make sure that the new dog gets along well with the other dogs before the pet parent leaves. It’s best to know your dog’s personality. If your dog shows signs that they do not respect other pets boundaries even during play then group boarding may not be the best fit. For everyone's safety, health, and happiness, if the dog does not get along then the pet parent may need to make back up arrangements. For best practices, parents should always have a back up option in case things don't work out or if there is an emergency. To prevent the risk of dogs not getting along, the pet parent can offer to buyout the sitter at their full capacity. Other best practices to consider: For pups who are sensitive to minor sounds, it may be best to book them with a sitter who lives in a house versus an apartment. For dogs who are prone to potty accidents or excessive drooling, it may be best to book them in a home that has wood floors versus full carpeting. Pups who don't like to share attention would match best with sitters who except one dog at a time. Pets who have extremely high energy may be happiest with sitters who have a fenced in yard for them to run around freely.

About: I've grown up around dogs my whole life and have always loved taking care of animals. I've helped my friends as well as my neighbors with walking, feeding and even just looking after their pets ensuring they are safe and cared for all around. I understand that all dogs have their own personality and I am willing to get to know and love each one like they are my own! I am responsible and dependable and love spending time with animals. I am also available for cat sitting and or check ins. I love cats and my sister has multiple and I have close relationships with hers. Having that experience has shown me how to care for them and what their daily schedules typically look like. I am currently in my off season of collegiate track and field career. My schedule is pretty flexible depending on when I am working out/ training that day. Outside of that I am open to availability! I am more comfortable with dog walking specifically but I am open to dog sitting when my schedule allows that. My goal would be to follow the pet's normal routine as closely as possible ensuring they feel comfortable.

About: I've always felt more comfortable with animals rather than people. I've worked with horses off and on for years. I like dogs more than most people. I feel comfortable around dogs that many people are afraid of. I take a cautious approach to dogs and let them get comfortable with me before petting them. Monday through Friday, I'm available from 4pm until midnight. On Saturdays and Sundays, I'm available from 7am until midnight. I love to take dogs for walks. I take my dog for a walk every day to my apartment's dog run where we play for at least 30 minutes. If your dog is staying overnight with me, I can make sure to take your dog to the dog run when it's cooler, right before sunset. I can watch cats in my apartment, too.
About: While I may not have years of experience like some, my love for animals does not fall short. I have taken care of dogs, big and small. Some with dietary restrictions and rigid feeding routines and others with a more lax regimen. I have house sat/pet sat and stayed in the owner’s home on multiple occasions. I’ve taken care of four dogs of various sizes at once, done drop-ins to feed/change water and let the puppers out for friends and family members, and I’ve also stopped by to do something as simple as a quick walk. Whatever you need, I can do it! I can assure you that I will treat your pet as my own. I currently work full time at a law firm in downtown but I live in Sanford. I have a reliable car and I don’t mind driving. I can pet sit/house sit on weekdays but I have work so it would be morning care and evening/night. I can also take a midday break if needed. I am off on the weekends so I will be able to be there full time. Depending on the owner, I have put pets into their crates when leaving the house or at night for sleeping but I have also let them roam freely, if the owner allows it.
