“First time using rover, I was a bit worried about the service but man was I mistaken. Mandy is a 5/5 sitter, sent me constant updates, had a fenced backyard and two friends to keep my Yuki company. Would recommend and rebook!!”

“Olivia is wonderful and our two dogs will be going back. We received updates with pictures and she made us feel like they were welcome in her home. Quincy and Sammy could barely keep their eyes open when they got home from all the fun they had.”

“We were going on vacation for 2 weeks and our original plan fell apart, and thats when I found Caesar here on Rover. What caught my eye was that one of his reviews said that their dogs were tired after their stay, and with 2 Boston Terrier, that was all I needed to read and so I booked. Right away, my mind was at ease, our meet and greet was wonderful, lots of room and ready for you fur-baby. The best part was daily photos, video and wonderful stories of their activities and adventures, that my husband and I would enjoy reading every night at dinner. We even joked that our dogs might not want to come back home to us..lol 😆 We are most definitely going to book again and recommend Caesar to our friends, and YES, Jett and Merlin were exhausted when we brought them home. 🐕👍🤩”

“Another great stay with Tonja and George! Tonja and George always send pictures, are so kind, and truly love dogs. Our pup always comes back happy and relaxed. Thanks Tonja and George!”

“She's so beautiful & wonderful person. My #1 on my list...She took care of my dog in an amazing way... My wife & I connected with her since day one. I definitely recommend her to take care of your pet.”

“They were super workable with pick up and drop off, great at communicating, and kept us updated through the whole trip. Sent us pictures every day of our pup playing with their kids and any other dogs made sure to ask permission and make sure we were comfortable with everything going on highly recommend.”

“Max is already getting comfortable staying with Rebecca and her pack. Not only is he a bed thief he now is taking over Rebecca’s bed too. Happy to know he’s being a little spoiled. Max truly knows how to work people once he warms up to everybody. Thank you for taking such great care of our little Max.”

“Even a hurricane didn't stop Pat from providing the best care of our two retrievers! Benson and Cooper love staying with her and I trust her to spoil them both. Benson managed to tear a few claw and Pat knew what to do and took him to our vet for treatment. Thank you!!!”

“Denise was great to take my dog in a week before I had to leave. My dog got along great with her dog. I recommend her highly. My dog had to take medicine for allergies and Denise didn’t hesitate to do the job. I will bring my dog to her anytime.”

“I am driving home with my dogs after leaving them with Jorge and Osvaldo for a week and I could not be happier. The communication during the stay was fantastic, and the funny stories afterwards were even better. I have an upcoming trip in the next few months and I’m already looking to book these guys again. I give them a 10 out of 10 and feel comfortable telling anybody to book with confidence.. Thank you both!!! ( and your kids )”

“Felicia and Greg do an amazing job with my baby girl! My Noodlez has so much fun on their extensive property. She enjoys the pond and playing with the kids. Noodlez has so much space to run and play. She runs to meet Felicia when I drop her off. Noodlez is a very happy girl when I pick her up. I have complete trust in these pet sitters. Highly recommended.”

“Great Rover family. Lots of updates and pictures. Our puppers so very well tended to. He is happy to be home, but sure he would of glady stayed there longer too. Denise even made him food when he ran out due to us being gone a little longer then expected. I will definitely be using them again. Thanks for taking such good care of our fluff ball.”

“The level of professionalism and genuine love for animals that Ed displayed was truly comforting. We were a bit anxious about leaving our fur babies for an extended period, but those worries were quickly put to rest. Not only did Ed ensure that our dogs were well-fed and exercised, but they also went the extra mile to make sure they were happy and comfortable. One of the highlights was receiving daily updates, complete with photos and videos. It was so reassuring to see our dogs not just being taken care of, but actually thriving and enjoying their time. The videos of them playing in the yard and the photos of them snuggled up on the couch really made our day and eased any concerns we had about being away from them. When we returned home, it was evident that our dogs had been well taken care of; they were calm, content, and in great spirits. If you're looking for a reliable, professional, and compassionate pet sitter, look no further than Ed. We will definitely be using their services again and highly recommend them to anyone in need of exceptional pet care. Thank you, Ed, for treating our dogs like they were your own. We couldn't be happier!”

“Kristen was amazing. We got the cutest photos each day. This was the 1st time we used a pet sitter and she made it simple. Delilah was so calm and at ease when I picked her up.”

“Excellent, they always took good care of my dog and updated me every day with photos, videos and messages. Their dogs are very friendly. Without hesitation I will book with them again on future occasions.”

“Adrienne and Nick were over the top fantastic sitters for The Doods, Toby + Dexter. They kept them entertained, playing all their favorite games and making sure Dexter didn’t eat any grass. The couch cuddles and TV time was exactly what they were used to and made them feel comfortable. Adrienne knew they liked to dress up and surprised us by creating custom bandannas for them both. All the funny messages and pictures reassured us that they were well taken care of while we were gone. The Doods are already looking forward to their next stay with them.”

“Very good experience, felt very comfortable leaving my fur baby. Samantha is super sweet and took great care of Kiwi will definitely love to keep using her for when we travel.”

About: Hey! I have grown up with dogs, cats, and livestock and have experience as a vet tech. I would love the opportunity to care for your babies! I work from home October through April so have plenty of time to drop in to care for your animals. I also enjoy walking so would love to have you baby tag along for that. Currently have three dogs that go on two walks a day and have outside play time. I would treat your fur baby like it was my own, and of course send you plenty of pictures/videos.
“I’ve always wished I had trusted friends or family nearby who could watch my pup while I’m away, and Bonnie & Ron truly made it feel just like that. They went above and beyond to ease my mind by arranging a meet & greet and a daycare visit beforehand, giving our pup a chance to warm up and get comfortable before our trip. It’s such a relief knowing our sweet girl is in a safe, loving, and secure environment. We are truly so grateful for their care and can’t recommend them enough!”

“They took GREAT care of Slinky while I was out of town. They sent me pictures of my fur baby and how he was doing throughout his stay with them. Would rate 10/10 if I could, will definitely be booking again in the future! ?”

About: From the moment I welcomed Dusty into my life, I’ve understood that pets aren’t just animals—they’re family. My experience goes beyond feeding and walking; it’s about creating a safe, joyful environment where pets feel loved and understood. • Hands-on family experience: Caring for Dusty has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and unconditional love. I know how to handle the silly, playful moments as well as the tender, comforting ones. • Celebration of milestones: I believe pets deserve to be part of life’s biggest moments. Dusty has been included in family celebrations, travel adventures, and even our wedding—proof that I’ll treat your pet with the same devotion. • Creative care: Whether it’s making up fun games, capturing adorable photos, or writing playful captions for Dusty’s “Instagram-worthy” moments, I bring creativity and joy to pet care. • Trustworthy and attentive: I understand how much peace of mind matters when leaving your pet with someone new. I’m committed to keeping routines consistent, noticing the little details , and giving regular updates so you feel connected. My schedule allows me to prioritize pet care, whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, or last-minute check-ins. Because I’m already caring for Dusty, I’m accustomed to planning my days around feeding, exercise, and playtime. Adding another furry friend feels seamless. I manage my professional responsibilities while keeping time open for meaningful connections—like giving pets the attention they deserve. I know how important routines are for pets, so I make sure my schedule aligns with theirs, not the other way around. Safety first: I follow routines carefully and keep pets secure during walks, play, and rest. Trustworthy care: Clear communication and regular updates give families peace of mind. Loving environment: Pets feel at home with me — nurtured, comfortable, and part of the family.
“We booked Olivia to watch our two dogs for a full day of care. Despite the booking being last minute, Olivia was exceptionally kind and accommodating. From our very first meeting, it was clear that Olivia is a compassionate person who genuinely cares about animals. Her warm demeanor put us at ease, and we felt confident that our dogs were in good hands. Throughout the day, Olivia made sure our dogs were well cared for. When we arrived to pick them up, she apologized because they had gotten dirty from playing energetically in the backyard. This made us smile, as we believe a little dirt is a sign that the dogs had a fantastic time. It was evident that Olivia encouraged playful activity, which our dogs thoroughly enjoyed. Olivia’s genuine love for dogs shines through in the way she interacts with them. We are grateful for her kindness and dedication, and we will not hesitate to use her services again whenever the need arises.”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with dogs, cats, and hamsters, and for the past 22 years I’ve always had a dog of my own—they’re truly part of the family. Right now, we have a sweet 2-year-old Italian Greyhound, so I understand the energy, patience, and consistency that come with caring for a young dog. I also have experience caring for other types of pets, including our bearded dragon, so I’m comfortable with different personalities and needs. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I don’t take that lightly. I’ll care for your pet the same way I care for my own—with lots of love, attention, and respect for their routine so they feel safe and happy while you’re away. I’m a stay-at-home mom to three children, all over the age of 8, so our home is calm and doesn’t have little ones running around. My daughters are homeschooled, which gives us a very flexible schedule and allows us to be home often throughout the day. While we do have activities, we’re able to plan our schedule around the pets in our care and can be home every 2–4 hours as needed. This flexibility means your pet will get plenty of attention, supervision, and consistency while staying with us. Our home environment is relaxed, dependable, and centered around making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I do not have a fenced yard but I do take frequent walks with my dog through the neighborhood so walks will not be a problem.
“Rebecca has taken care of our two pups multiple times, now, and she is a great sitter. She is always a good communicator and provides great quality of care. Trust is important in these types of situations and we have that with Rebecca.”

About: I've had dogs and cats all my life and now that I'm retired I want to share cuddles and love with your pet! My friends and neighbors have entrusted their pets to me for years and I would like the privilege of taking care of your furry baby. I love both seniors and puppies and have had experience with administering medication if your pet has medical needs. A I'm retired so I'll be home almost all the time. A short shopping or doctor's visit would be the only exception. Your pet would not be unattended for more than 2 or 3 hours. I have a fenced area in my yard that is accessible directly from my home. The pets are never left outside unattended and they have full access to my home.

About: We adopted our first pups in 2004 and cared for them for 18 pup-snuggled years. During that time, and since then, we have rescued, fostered and adopted animals of all kinds to include chickens, ducks and a pig named Kevin Bacon! Currently, we're home to Guinevere, the mild-mannered, 6 year-old rescued mutt. We do have an 11-year-old hooman "puppy" who is just as loving and respectful of animals as we are. We will love and care for your fur-babies as if they were our very own. We are home almost all day, every day, so your pet will never be alone. I homeschool our son, and my husband works from home. Your pet will have ample opportunities to play outside in our 1/2 acre back yard. Our neighborhood is very quiet with houses situated on ~acre lots. We have neighbors with dogs, but they usually just run over to the fence to say hello and then go about their business. In our home, your fur-babies can roam freely, and they will have access to our 1/2, partially shaded, completely fenced-in back yard as often as they need. If your dog is one who prefers walks, our peaceful neighborhood has lots of places to explore; there is a nice park 1/2 mile away where they can sniff around where all of the turtles and ducks like to hang out. Pups who stay with us overnight are welcome to stay in their crate (if that's what they prefer), anywhere in the house, and, likely, on one of our beds.
“Debra did an amazing job watching my little girl Nina. She’s very easy to setup with. She has other great dogs she watches over which gives my dog plenty of play time and socialization. Would highly recommend Debra who clearly loves animals.”

“Dusty had an amazing time with his new friends! Tamara was amazing! Lots of pictures, videos, very communicative and friendly. Dusty will definitely get back to see her friends Maverick & Ollie again!”

“This was mine and Gizmo’s first pet sitter experience. Joanne was very patient with all my questions. She is very calm and caring and kept Gizmo on his usual schedule for the day. She also sent messages and a picture to let me know how he was doing.”

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and I love animals. Previously I’ve had many dogs and cats and I’ve even worked at the volunteer animal shelter for 3 years. I’m currently retired and living alone and looking for something to do about once or twice a day for four to five days per week. Also can do boarding of one dog at a time. I walk dogs twice per day and feed dogs on a schedule. When I care for other people animals I look at notes they’ve left me and take care of their pets the way that they want their pet taken care of.
“Jorge & Osvaldo offer a 5 star day car 👌 They are friendly and professional! Today, it was our dog’s first all day daycare and they LOVED IT! When we got to the front door, they went right in and based on many pictures we revived throughout the day, they seemed to be enjoying their stay! We already have a second booking and I am sure we will use them over and over again!”

“Gloria took wonderful care of my puppy after his procedure. She was gentle, attentive, and made sure he felt safe and loved. I can tell he had a great time and was in very good hands. I’m so grateful for the peace of mind she gave me—highly recommend her!”

Hoping to make a little cash on the side to help out. We have a fully fenced in yard and plenty of space inside and outside for your fur baby to run and play with my babies.
“It was my first time meeting Gabriella, and she went above and beyond my expectations. So kind, professional, and communicative. She wanted to know all relevant information about my dog which showed how much she cared about giving her the best care possible! Mona will be back to play again in the future, thank you!!”

About: Here’s a polished version of your message that keeps your voice but makes it flow more smoothly and professionally: Hello! My name is Kathleen, and I am Deaf. I have a deep love for dogs and many years of experience caring for them. I’ve cared for several of my own dogs, and my most recent dog, Nika, was with me until she passed away in January 2025. She was very special to me. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs—playing with them, feeding them, taking them on walks or outside for potty breaks, and making sure they feel safe and happy. I respect each dog’s personality and give them the space they need to feel comfortable and relaxed in my home. If you’re looking for someone gentle, patient, and experienced to care for your dog, I would love to help!If you want, dogs are welcome to rest with me, even on my bed if it helps them feel more at home. if your dog needs feeding, potty breaks, or playtime during the day. I always take dogs out on a leash for potty breaks. I stay outside with them until they poop and pee. Sometimes we sit on the patio or relax on the grass for a few minutes. I also watch closely in case a dog has any allergies or needs special care outside. I give dogs the freedom to be themselves and stay comfortable while keeping them safe and cared for.
About: Since 2020, I have personally owned, fostered, rescued, or cared for more than 30 animals in my own home. At one point, I had 17 pets of my own at the same time, including dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. Today, I have 4 dogs, which some people still consider a lot, but becoming a mom helped me realize the importance of keeping a smaller, more manageable pack. Most of my experience comes from working with rescue dogs, including dogs that were fearful, anxious, undersocialized, or simply needed structure and consistency. I am a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and regularly work with dogs on manners, leash skills, socialization, confidence building, and basic obedience. I’ve cared for puppies, seniors, large breeds, small breeds, high-energy dogs, and multi-pet households. I understand that every dog is different, and I do my best to learn what makes each pet comfortable and successful. For me, pet care is more than feeding and potty breaks. I enjoy building relationships with animals, helping them feel safe, and making sure they have a positive experience while their family is away. Thank you for trusting me with your pet. I know how important they are because mine are family too. ❤️ I am currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology and attend school remotely. Most of my day is already spent working with dogs, caring for animals, and studying behavior, so pets are a natural part of my lifestyle. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to be available throughout the day and adjust my routine to meet the needs of the pets in my care. All services vary depending on the instructions provided by the owner. I don't improvise, I ask if I have any questions and follow your rules.

“Jeanice was great and came in clutch with our last minute request. Despite one of our dogs being nervous, she was able to coax her into going outside for a bathroom break!”

About: I’ve always grown up around dogs but in high school I started volunteering at the Humane Society which I did for 4 years, and then for the past 7 years I have been working at a dog daycare and boarding facility. I also have some grooming experience in the sense of bathing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing, NO actual haircuts. I have also cared for senior dogs at my job, as well as dogs who need their insulin, I know how to administer medicine. Although I do not have actual training experience professionally, I have been trained my puppies and they are very good at listening to the commands given to them :). I do have 11 dogs myself so I am experienced in having dogs and caring for them 24/7. I have also gone to peoples home’s and cared for their pets too! :D I am currently working part time so my schedule should be pretty free to work around your needs! Please message me and I’m sure I could work something out with your schedule, it shouldn’t be an issue. Although I do not have a fenced yard, I take my dogs on 30 minute walks every two hours (making sure the gravel is not too hot, or if it is, we have boots for them). I do not crate my dogs inside the house but if this is something you would like your dog to have, I can offer it. My dogs are also allowed on furniture but if your dog is not allowed to get on furniture, that’s no problem, my dogs do not get on furniture unless they’re invited to. In client’s homes that I have gone to, they leave me a detailed list of their dogs needs and I follow it step by step! If I offer the service at my house, you also do not have to worry about your pup ever being alone! In case I happen to have an emergency (which has never happened before) I do live with my sister, (who also has experience with dogs) my parents, and grandparents and we are ALL dog lovers 🥰

About: As a child raised on a farm, I developed a natural ability to nurture and care for animals of all kinds. For as long as I can remember, I have provided my pets with everything they need to thrive. I have owned several dogs and cats over the years. I make sure they remain happy and healthy. This includes administering treatments when necessary, bathing them regularly, trimming their nails, keeping up with vaccinations and medical checkups, and providing plenty of affection and companionship on a daily basis. Taking care of animals comes naturally to me. I not only provide for their basic needs, but I also establish a loving bond with my pets through consistent care, grooming, attention, and of course walks and treats. The wellbeing of the animals in my care is of the utmost importance to me. Pet care is completely integrated into my daily routine and responsibilities. From the moment I wake up, my focus is on ensuring the needs of my pets are met. Each morning begins with filling food and water bowls, cleaning litter boxes, and walking the dogs. My farm animals also require daily attention in terms of feeding, watering and letting them into their specific areas. Throughout the day, I am constantly checking in on my pets, refilling water, playing with them, and providing comfort and companionship. If any of my pets show signs they are unwell or need to see a vet, I make that my top priority and will rearrange my schedule accordingly to take them to appointments. Even during the nighttime, I am there for my pet and their needs and listen for any sounds that would indicate they want to go outside or need something. Their wellbeing and happiness comes before anything else in my routine. No matter what else is going on in my day, my pets always receive the time, care and love they deserve from me. As a dedicated pet caregiver, I provide for all the needs of the animals under my supervision. Whether at my own home or a client's residence, my focus is always on ensuring the pets remain happy, healthy, and well behaved. I allow the pets outdoor access at regular intervals, taking them for walks when needed. Basic hygiene is a priority, so pets receive routine grooming that includes baths and nail trimming. I play with the animals frequently to and provide lots of affection, hugs, and praise to make sure they feel loved. Their diet is closely monitored. I prepare fresh food and change water dishes regularly. I also secure away objects that could pose a hazard if left where a pet could access them. Regular vet appointments are scheduled to check them out and keep them up to date with everything. I take the pets to parks and other open spaces for fun. My role as a pet caregiver ensures all needs are met and the animals remain comfortable and content, whether at my own residence or under my supervision at a client's home. The pets' happiness and wellbeing are my top priorities.

“She's so beautiful & wonderful person. My #1 on my list...She took care of my dog in an amazing way... My wife & I connected with her since day one. I definitely recommend her to take care of your pet.”

About: I’ve always had a pet, from hamsters, turtles, ferrets, cats to dogs. I don’t mind a dog that’s a little naughty. Currently, the love of my life is a four year old Australian Cattle Dog named Flash Bama. He is high energy, loves other dogs and a great cuddle boy. My dog is high energy and must be exercised and played with several times a day. He goes with me kayaking, hiking, and on long car trips. So, pet care is always a part of my daily routine. I am available M-F after 4pm and anytime Saturday and Sunday. I leave for work at 6am M-F so overnights are possible if it fits your schedule. My home is on a quarter acre with a good sized back yard with a 4 ft chain linked fence. It’s large enough for a dog to run, catch a frisbee or herd a herding ball. My floors are ceramic tile and high end vinyl, no mess worries. There are plenty of outdoor dog toys. I have a dog door leading to a 4x8x6 foot tarped cage. That cage door is open when I’m home so that my dog can go outside when he wants to however, most of the time I’m outside with my pet.
“Rachel was an awesome dog sitter for the weekend! We have never used rover before and were apprehensive with leaving Sadie with a stranger, but she made the experience fantastic. She provided regular updates and photos, and Sadie was as happy as can be, and got plenty of exercise and fun with Rachel's kids. We will absolutely be relying on Rachel again for dog sitting!”

“Sheena, was not only flexible with the time we needed she was an Angel during a difficult time. Titus was attacked by another dog the day before Titus was supposed to meet Sheena. He was very badly hurt we thought we would have to cancel, Sheena said no way!!! She stepped in and treated Titus like one of her own children. Sheena has a loving and caring family they all took such good care of Titus. I would recommend Sheena to the world. She updated us every step of the way. Titus would not have healed as good as he has if it were not for her care! We thank you Sheena, Titus loves you lots! See you again very very soon.”

About: Hello, I go by Cole. I’ve had dogs and cats in my life for as long as I can remember. I've had three cats: Coco, Halley, and Taz. I've also had five dogs: Blossom, Keesha, Cody, Kyli, and Kronos. I've even had a snake, Slither. Growing up with pets taught me early on how important it is to give them love, structure, and consistent care. I’ve personally trained all of my dogs using positive reinforcement methods and make sure they get daily walks and plenty of exercise to keep them happy and healthy. I've even participated in a dog training class for my Labrador retriever, Cody. As a sitter, I bring that same dedication to every pet I care for. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or any other animal, I treat them with the attention and affection they deserve. I understand that pets rely on us for everything — we are their world — so I’m committed to giving them a safe, loving, and enriching experience while their families are away. My goal is always to make sure they feel at home and enjoy their very best life every single day. I work from home and am with my dog all the time. Every single day I give him a 2.5 mile walk. It is his favorite part of the day. I provide his nourishment and emotional well being support. I have researched and given him the best food for his size and age. I never miss a vet appointment. I live in a safe neighborhood with a fenced backyard. I have many streets I can walk through in my neighborhood. I know how go use all types of collars and harnesses. When I take Kronos out he is always on his collar and leash.

“My husband and I knew we would be able to relax and enjoy our cruise while our boy was being cared for by Kenneth and Dawn. We received daily updates and pictures. Our boy was spoiled and so well taken care of.”
