About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with dogs, cats, and hamsters, and for the past 22 years I’ve always had a dog of my own—they’re truly part of the family. Right now, we have a sweet 2-year-old Italian Greyhound, so I understand the energy, patience, and consistency that come with caring for a young dog. I also have experience caring for other types of pets, including our bearded dragon, so I’m comfortable with different personalities and needs. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I don’t take that lightly. We will love and care for your fur-babies as if they were our very own. We are home almost all day, every day, so your pet will never be alone. I homeschool our son, and my husband works from home. Your pet will have ample opportunities to play outside in our 1/2 acre back yard. Our neighborhood is very quiet with houses situated on ~acre lots. We have neighbors with dogs, but they usually just run over to the fence to say hello and then go about their business. In our home, your fur-babies can roam freely, and they will have access to our 1/2, partially shaded, completely fenced-in back yard as often as they need. If your dog is one who prefers walks, our peaceful neighborhood has lots of places to explore; there is a nice park 1/2 mile away where they can sniff around where all of the turtles and ducks like to hang out. Pups who stay with us overnight are welcome to stay in their crate (if that's what they prefer), anywhere in the house, and, likely, on one of our beds.

About: As a child raised on a farm, I developed a natural ability to nurture and care for animals of all kinds. For as long as I can remember, I have provided my pets with everything they need to thrive. I have owned several dogs and cats over the years. I make sure they remain happy and healthy.
