I recently started pet sitting as a side hustle while I work toward one of my biggest goals: saving for my own home. I’m excited to turn something I love into an opportunity to reach that goal while helping other pet owners feel comfortable. I work full-time as an Ultrasound Tech during the week, so I’m available for afternoon/evening walks and overnight stays. I have a very open and flexible schedule on weekends and can accommodate different times and care needs. I’m happy to work around each pet’s routine and make sure they get the attention and care they need. For overnight stays, I’m happy to stay in the home so the pets can remain in their familiar environment rather than being stressed by a new place. For drop ins/walks , I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible and keep the owner updated with pictures and messages so they know how their pet is doing.

About: I've had trained service dogs for 10 years, daily walks and exercise of at least 1 mile plus occasional swim. Dog parks three to four time per week. Dog, jack russell mix accompanies me everywhere. I'm semi-retired with plenty of time for my dog and let's of others. Battlefield trauma qualified me for service dog and training by the army. I'm a volunteer emt and fireman. With the service dog I'm always sensitive, as well as my service animal, to danger. At 6'2" and fit I easily handle occasional dog disagreement without any undue stress to the animals.
